Firstly, the restaurant is cozy, welcoming and friendly. The staff is very polite and fast! I got the veggie skillet and it was AMAZING. I feel very happy about the dish I got. I need to make a very special announcement and say, from when we ordered to receiving the food, only took about 5 minutes !!! So not only was it very fast, the products themselves were amazing. Definitely coming back!

We had a group of 6, and we were welcomed and seated right away. The restaurant was very clean, and had cute holiday decorations. Through out the dining experience I noticed that all of the workers help each other, so we never had empty plates cups sitting on the table, and they all helped with Togo packaging. I loved the service, that alone would keep me coming back. The monkey bread was very light and fluffy, and was a very large portion. I only wish there was more of the gooey filling. The country Benedict was delicious. The poached eggs were cooked just the way they should be, the gravy had a lot of flavor, and the sausage also had great flavor, I would have preferred the biscuit to be a little less baked. I requested the hash browns to be more crispy because that's the way I like them, but some brows just don't cook that way.

2 of our 3 orders were messed up. My daughter has mild autism and she is an extremely picky eater. She asked for her pancakes with only chocolate chips and not white chocolate chips and the waitress acknowledged it but, of course they came with both and we had to send it back. I had the crepes with fresh blackberries but my order arrived without the berries. Instead of just getting a side bowl of them the waitress grabbed my plate and wanted to take the whole thing away. I grabbed it back and said just bring me the berries. She looked very confused. I never got offered a refill on my 1 cup of coffee. When we finally got the food right, I would say the food tasted fine but I think it was on the expensive side especially considering the service we got. I can get a less expensive breakfast with better service elsewhere.

Been to the Bolingbrook and Downers Grove location and this one is similar to those. I used to love the restaurant that was here before. It was a Saturday morning and I wanted a boozy brunch. They offer mimosas so I decided to check this Plainfield location. We were seated immediately. We had enough time to look over the menu and our server came. She was very friendly and pleasant. I ordered a corn beef hash skillet with pancakes and my son had the meat lovers skillet. Both skillets were good but the strawberry mimosas were even better There is nothing special about this place but it's good for a breakfast. I'll be back for the mimosas.

Food was great! Customer service was amazing. We don't eat bacon and they added bacon in our salad. But they took care of the situation! Cappuccino was amazing! We will be back. Truly impressed by the great customer and ambiance! Oh the avocado Ranch dressing was yummy!

The food was delicious it arrived hot and fast . Our server was great and attentive. The tables are a little small and the chairs. I'd recommend this place breakfast even when crowded the wait is only about 10 minutes.

I tried the season sweet potato fry skillet and it's amazing! We went back the next week to get it again. The biscuits with honey butter are great as well.

Creeps were good, but if you like dry eggs, they seam to keep them runny all the time. Cooked twice, same results. Won't go back.

My hubby ordered a chicken sandwich that was just as good.. All of our food was very tasty and we really enjoyed it. Portions are generous so hopefully you're very hungry or be prepared to bring plenty home. I was only able to eat half of my food and brought the other half home and my sandwich seemed better the next day which isn't always the case when you bring things home!! I recommend giving this place a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. We had a very pleasant experience the food and service were fabulous

Came in on a busy Saturday night after attending another event in the area. The bar was hopping and we snagged the last 2 available seats. At first, it appeared they had 4 bartenders, a manager, and a barback behind the bar. However, other than the barback consistently washing/unloading dishes I am not sure what was going on with the service. Manager was not providing any assistance to his staff. However, he was filling his own water bottle. Other staff were taking selfies with guests. It took awhile to order a second round as well as pay our tab. This was a one and done visit for me.

Our food was promptly delivered, and everything was excellent. The portion sizes are huge. My skillet was flavorful, but the potatoes seemed a bit undercooked. The pancakes were wonderful. Very sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. The graham cracker topping adds a nice crunch. I normally don't prefer a sweet breakfast, but I would definitely order these again. The pancakes themselves were nice and thick and fluffy.

We came in with a party of seven, and three of us wanted a simple BLT -- bread, bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo, made as a regular sandwich rather than the club. We were told they could only make the club. That was frustrating and honestly confusing considering they already have all of the same ingredients, plus a fried green tomato sandwich on the menu that seemingly could have been modified. On the way out, I brought it up to the manager because I genuinely wanted to understand why such a simple request couldn't be accommodated. Her response was essentially that they used to have a regular BLT and took it off the menu. There seemed to be very little concern about finding a solution or about the fact that longtime customers were leaving disappointed. Restaurants obviously have reasons for menu changes and policies, but hospitality should still be about taking care of the people who choose to spend their money with you. When a very simple request using ingredients already in the kitchen becomes a hard "no," and management doesn't seem particularly concerned about the customer experience, something feels off. Unfortunately, we've watched Southern Belle decline over the last several years, and today was probably the tipping point for us. After supporting this restaurant multiple times a month for three years, I hate to say it, but they've lost a regular customer. I really hope they refocus on hospitality and the customer experience, because we genuinely used to enjoy coming here.

They rotate creative latte flavors like honey lavender, chocolate cherry, and lemon honey and I am always down to try whatever is new. The espresso itself is mild, which works as a base but I personally wish it had a little more backbone. The iced lavender matcha is my personal standout and I will not be taking questions. They also let you build your own combinations, and a recent banana brown sugar iced latte I dreamed up was exactly as good as it sounds. The food punches above typical coffee shop fare. The Beyond sandwich with its sweet heat chipotle aioli is a genuine win, vegan or not. The brown sugar bacon gouda is a household favorite for my family. The baked treats are decent but honestly priced a touch above what they deliver. They are the only coffee shop in the area so the pricing reflects that reality more than the competition. The space is your standard coffee shop Joanna Gaines-esque rustic, warm and comfortable. They feature local art on the walls which I love, though I wish they rotated it more frequently. Easy way to keep things fresh and support the local creative community more actively. Staff is kind, genuinely engaging, and this is a queer safe space, which matters and is always worth naming out loud.
