This place more than exceeded our expectations. We loved the thin crust, sauce, and cheese. We're pizza hoppers, trying someplace new every Sunday (pizza day) unless it blows us out of the water and then they get placed on the "repeat" list. This place is definitely on the repeat list. Like, next week. The pizza was hot and fresh and very, very tasty. The only thing I'd change is that I wish the veggie toppings weren't chopped so finely. I had tomatoes and artichokes on my half and they were very small. It didn't affect the taste at all, I just like them sliced a bit bigger. Definitely recommend this place. Well, had a hankering for pizza today and bookmarked this place because of the awesome reviews. I didn't have an awesome experience. First of all, I wanted to order online and pick it up on my way home from work. The online service requires that you create a profile before you can order and it kept giving errors when all the info was provided. "Glitch in their system". Finally it approved my profile, so a proceeded with my order. I wanted to pay cash when I arrived but you have to provide a credit card to complete the order. BUMMER! I don't like to give my card info online. So.... I decided just to order when I got there and wait on it. Walked in and explained my online ordeal to the cashier. I showed him my online order, which was still on my phone and told him I would like to order it. He proceeds to tell me that the deal I wanted is only available online. HA! REALLY! I just explained to you that I tried to order online but didn't want to put my cc info online. Well with that, I politely grabbed my purse and decided to spend this $50 at Pizza Belly. Customer service is key with me. I am a loyal customer to those that provide it. Belive me when I say they have missed out on a lot of $$$. The owners are great and if something is correct or you have any complaints, they find a way to make it right. The calzones are great, we always build our own pizzas and they're fantastic. We decided to try a new delivery pizza place besides the national chains that are available in our area per the recommendation of our neighbors. We went with the Grandslam Pizza since we like pizzas with those type of toppings. They do offer ordering online which I love so at least know I will get what I ordered. It said it would take 50 minutes for delivery but was delivered in just over 30 minutes which is nice. I really liked the garlic crust, so it was like a pizza outlined with bread sticks which was nice. The pizza it self was better than majority of the delivery places and cost a few more dollars. They also offer a large menu, I will be ordering from here again. read more

We order here almost every Friday, the thing I like most about the pizza is the crust and sauce. The crust is not overly baked hard, it has enough firmness to support and not look like a wet noodle. The sauce has a good taste and is not overpowering. My family really enjoys ordering from here and is sad if we don't get pizza on Friday. read more

My wife and I order Homebase on a weekly basis and have been doing so for the past 2-3 months. In all that time we have never received anything less than perfection from these guys. Every time I go in there they are the most polite and friendly people around. The pizza comes out hot and fresh and it and looks and tastes delicious without fail. We had a bad experience with Homebase Pizza years ago, but the favorable Yelp reviews cause us to give it another try. Glad we did. We ordered a Meat Eater: pepperoni, Italian sausage, beef, Canadian bacon. Ingredients tasted fresh and were plentiful. We ordered via their website and found it simple and easy to navigate. I liked that I was able to remove the Canadian bacon without having to call the store. Price was reasonable. So much better than the national chain pizzas. read more

Me and my wife decided to try this place out because it is close to the house. We saw it had decent reviews and good prices. We called at about 7:45 and placed our order. The girl on the phone was friendly and took all of our information. She said our order for 2 large pizzas would be delivered in 30-45 minutes. After an hour my wife called to check on our pizzas and see if they were on the way. When she called the nice girl answered the phone, then asked her to hold on. While the girl was trying to cover the mouth piece of the phone my wife heard her say "Oh Sh.." and then I presume the manager got on the phone. This lady lied to my wife and said that I had called and canceled the order and confirmed the address and everything. Now I understand not putting in the order to begin with, it's the lieing that really bothers me. Just fess up! I have been wanting to write this review for months and months now. This is by far the best pizza place I have tried in Houston. The food always comes hot and the pizza has a nice crispy crust and great amount of cheese and veggies. They are not cheap with their toppings at all. I had always orders for delivery and they say they will deliver within 45 minutes but most of the time they are faster than that. Most of the time the owner himself delivers the pizza and he is the nicest man. Very respectful and truly cares about his business and customers. I told my husband that when we move I want to make sure we are in the zone so we don't lose Home Base Pizza delivery simply because of the customer service.
