I visited a Via 313 and fell in love with Detroit style pizza! So when this one opened in Bridgeland I was exited. The pizza was just as phenomenal as I had it in Austin. If you never had Detroit style pizza then I highly recommend trying Via 313! Best way I can describe it is imagine your favorite cheesy bread but crusty and toasty with flavor packed pizza sauce and your favorite toppings. The ambiance was great as multiple games were playing in the TVs and if you're into sports it's a great atmosphere. As for service it's the only reason I gave it a 4. We arrive just after a large party maybe 10-12 people so it took awhile for our pizzas to arrive. I also rated 4 because while ordering the pizzas the server asked if we wanted any extra sauces with the pizzas and he named what was available. I was excited that hot honey was an option and it was great. It was an addition $2.50 for the small sauce cup and I wasn't given a heads up about the additional charge. We had an amazing Detroit style pizza. It was called the Carnivore. Taste was great. We had the small which was 4 slices so perfect to split for a lunch. We had went in at an off time so it wasn't real busy. The serving was good and our server told us about an app program for loyalty points. Go by and give them a try. Lots to choose from. Cesar salad was good, the dried cheese was interesting lol. The small is perfect for 2 people to share if you are not starving. The carnivore had all the meats and great flavors. I wanted to like this place, but after standing around for nearly 18 minutes with no help, I gave up and left. I came in and just kept waiting while nothing seemed to be happening. This location was recommended by one of my friends that lives nearby. It's been several times and I finally decided to go and check it out with him. They have two types of pizza, thin crust and Detroit style, which is a thicker crust. I decided to try out the thin crust. It's more than enough for one person so I ate most of it and took a little bit home maybe two slices and I got a beer with it which was very cold. The only time I can have beer it has to be really cold and it was. It's located on the corner of Tuckerton and Fry Road in a new strip center. We got carryout from Via 413 on Tuckerton Rd today. Our first experience with this brand. We got a thin crust pizza called The Stooge and a Detroit style pizza that was pepperoni. Both pizzas were very bland! I admit I had high expectations and have been hungry for pizza quite a few weeks but this was a big disappointment. I would have been happier with a frozen pizza! First experience was horrible but we went back to use our coupon and it was a completely different experience. If you sign up for their loyalty program, you get coupons and I think the first one is $10 off. They offer daily specials like kids eat free on Mondays. The outdoor patio has games for the kids. They literally opened 1 WEEK AGO! They are killing it! Killing it with service and kindness. I saw the grand opening, and a coupon was offered for a buy one get one small detroiter pizza. So of course I went to dine in. the parking lot was completely full, the place was stacked! but we managed to get seats quickly. No delay in ordering, and no delays with food coming out, and we did not feel rushed at all. Kyle was our server, but every one helped each other out, and the experience was seamless. this is the best experience I have had at via 313, I have been to other locations including the one in Austin. Hubby is a pizza lover. He likes the thicker pizzas so we decided to try it. He immediately ordered the carnivore. I ordered a bar style pizza, the continental, which was new on the menu. We were told they didn't have it. I ordered the funkadelic chicken which they also did not have. As a 3rd option I ordered the MC5 with chicken and spinach. Our appetizer of cheesy bread came out a few minutes before the pizzas. My pizza came out Detroit style instead of bar style. We couldn't find our waiter so we grabbed another member of waitstaff at which point we were told he had left due to shift change. We sent my pizza back. Hubby was done eating by the time mine came out. I was never asked if I wanted another beer. Hubby had to ask for another glass of tea. We were brought the Check without being asked if we wanted anything else and no discount was given. There was place wasn't packed and waitstaff was standing around talking to one another. New kind of pizza style in the area and it's not too bad. I can say, even with 6 "slices" it's pretty fulfilling. Enjoyed both pizza we ordered except the Hawaiian, I wish it was chunks of pineapple. It was still good though just could have been better. Sometimes when biting it you get the whole piece of pineapple slice. The cheese breads lacked flavor so didn't care for it. Service was great! Having been a fan since I've been to one of the Austin locations years ago and having been to the Memorial location - another one closer to me was great news! Went during one of the opening week special times/happy hour and I could not be more pleased with the service and food. The Detrioter is my go too. Baked to perfection and crunch a grest tasting sauce and cheese - good amount of pepperoni baked in and on top-- no complaints. Happy hour has a great selection of discounted drinks and beers. This place is new and poppin'. With that said it is always packed and there is always a wait. We came on a Sunday evening and waited about 15 mins. The place is small too, there is an outside patio. The staff were friendly, we liked our waitress. She gave us a heads up that our pizza wouldn't be ready for about 25-30 mins and recommended we get an appetizer. We ordered the cheese bread, the detroiter, and the hawaiian. We got the pizzas in small sizes and it was too much food for a family of 3. We had leftovers, which this pizza made really good leftovers the next day. I enjoyed the hawaiian the most. The cheese bread was just alright to me. I stopped by here for lunch with my friend and I had a great time! The place itself is very nice and restrooms were clean. I found the restaurant to be very inviting and welcoming. We had Eli as our server and they were super attentive and kind! I got the lunch special which comes with a salad, two slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza, and a fountain drink for $12! It's a really good price for the amount of food - that salad bowl was bigger than I thought! The pizzas were not crazy good or anything, but I liked it. The wait for the food wasn't that long or at least, it wasn't long enough for me to have a problem with it or notice it. I do wish they would let you choose other types of pizzas or make our own small - something more customizable since the options we do have are limited and they are basic for the lunch specials. They're just cheese and pepperoni pizzas, I can't imagine any pizza place messing those up. But I would definitely come back for another lunchtime! read more

We stood around at the front door for an uncomfortable length of time waiting to be seated even after a staff member said she'd be right with us. Beet salad was fresh & had the right amount of dressing. The meatball appetizer tasted like the frozen meatballs you get from the grocery store drenched in canned spaghetti sauce. The Detroit style pizza was good but came out WAY after our other food. Service wasn't great. Our waitress seemed bothered that a drink was ordered after we ate most of our dinner. Went with some friends and our kids and had a great experience! The adults ordered Detroit style pizza and the kids had the thin crust. The Detroit style pizza reminded me of the pan pizza from the old school Pizza Huts (in a good way). We ordered a small with half - The Cadillac (Prosciutto, Figs, Balsamic Glaze) and The Ambassadors Bridge (Explained that it is kind of like a lasagna with sausage and pepperoni). We also ordered a small Classic Cheese (Cheese pizza with marinara on the bottom). The Cadillac's ingredients seemed so appealing, but was just okay. It could use some more toppings and balsamic. The Ambassador Bridge was my favorite. The flavor is amazing and if you like garlic, marinara, and ricotta on your pizza, you will like this one. The Classic Cheese is pretty good as well- way more flavor than I anticipated for such simple ingredients. The thin crust pizza was a hit with the kids. To me it is just a thin crust pizza and if I'm visiting for the first time, I would get the Detroit style since it is different than other places. Stopped in today for the first and wasn't disappointed. We got the meatballs which were most, tender, and had a great flavor. We also got the broccoli and cauliflower appetizer which was also very good. It comes with a balsamic glaze which is alway one of favorites on veggies. For our main line much we got a small Detroit style pizza and it was dead on what I've had in Detroit. Crispy fried cheese edges and a light crust for being on the thicker side. Can't want to come back and try the bar pie style they offer. Service was spot on. Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the two pizza options to our group and offered great advice on what we should get. The restaurant itself is large, clean, and nicely decorated. They have several TVs, and a full bar with some of the most comfortable bar seats I've seen in a long time. All and all, great place and I would recommend checking them out. read more

Meh! Well, we went to the grand opening day for lunch. We take a long time to get our order issue with the machine that the waitress was trying to get our order. It was absolutely ridiculous loud music in the small restaurant. I could not even talk to each other. We decide to go outside. We have no problem with the price of the lunch. It came with a cheese or pepperoni, pizza, a drink, and a salad. I was very impressed with the size of the salad and it was very good. But after that, the food was not good, the sauce that's on top taste like old bland Ragu. Of course it was busy because they were just opening and it was lunchtime, but we agreed that maybe we we would try with just for the cheese just because the deal the price and really enjoyed the salad but other than that it was not worth it. The pepperoni were burnt, and have a strange taste with the sauce so try to remove them. I had add for cheese and some red pepper flakes It needed some seasoning. It may be better but it's different so I tried it was experience. We could hear some other people saying they thought the prices were over the top and they don't think they would plan to return again. The 1st time we were told a cook walked out and my husband waited over and hour for a pizza. We assumed hey it is just new place issues and it was a Friday in the burbs. There were people in waiting forever and doordashbdrivers lined up. Then we decided to do doordash, 2 hours for pizza and same excuse cook walked out. It is a Monday. Detroit style pizza looks like a Little Caesars pan pizza, tastes way better and they put the sauce on top. Tried the bar style pizza also, with chicken, Gorgonzola, & mushrooms, it was quite tasty as well they gave us some cinnamon sticks for free for the first welcome visit which were a great after pizza dessert. After 1 hour, we only received cold cheesy bread that was wet on the bottom from cooling down for a long time in the kitchen. It was unconforably cold in the dining room. Literally, everyone in the restaurant was complaining how cold it was, and were moving to different tables multiple times looking for a warmer place to sit. The staff was completely unconcerned about the complaints of slow food and ice cold dining room. They kept telling us that there was a issue in the kitchen and the manager would come out to discuss with us. After 5 mins waiting on manager to come, someone showed up at the table and we asked for the check and expressed our displeasure with the experience. The person that came over said they weren't the manager and we just left. We have great experiences at the other Via 313 location and we're sadly very disappointed with the waiters not being concerned of the issues, the cold food and the Manager not even taking time to talk to customers. read more

I'm from Detroit know Detroit Pizza... the pizza was OK, may of been to the level of good if our lazy ass not wanting to work Waitess wouldn't of left it sitting on the counter for at least 10 min. Look took 1.5 hrs almost to get our done in food 2 other tables who were served already we watched approximately 15 orders go out the door dashers & other pick ups. I sincerely hope their outstanding service lasts beyond their grand opening because it certainly is newsworthy. Small comfortable setting, sit at the bar, bar tables or dining area. We were lucky enough on a Saturday evening to get in just before the rush. We were SO hungry we ordered like there was more than just the 2 of us. Cheesy breadsticks-yum! Brussel sprouts- very good. Then we had The Ambassador. It was quite good however the toppings are sadly pretty skimpy. The cinnamon sticks were.....well they took us to the moon and back. We were going to have just 2 sticks and bring the rest home but something very strange happened, in minutes they just disappeared...like magic! Grace was our server and she was excellent. They were unwilling to give me the discount since I was getting take out. I get it, but you are brand new. Just not the way to earn business. I would have ordered differently if I had realized the coupon wouldn't work, so I just left the pizzas and went home. Over $50 for two small pizzas and a salad. Just not worth it.
