Had a large pepperoni. Dough was fluffy on the inside with a slight crunch on the outer layer. Sauce was present but not overwhelming. Cheese was introduced and made itself welcome. But, the pepperonis felt like they were being rationed. It's almost 2025 we can't be segregating pepperonis to the back of the pizza. read more

We love Buona Bora, it's our favorite pizza spot! The pizza is always consistently delicious! We've also tried the mozzarella sticks, calzone and sandwiches, everything has been great, but the "All the Meats" pizza is our favorite. And the staff is always friendly and welcoming! read more

I really wanted to try this place, but unfortunately had to walk out. As I walk in the girl at the front didn't greet or acknowledge me. She was speaking on the phone (personal call) very loudly as I was just standing there. It was a personal call because she had an AirPod in and was talking about quesabirrias to a friend or family member. As I was just standing there looking at the menu, she still didn't say a single word, didn't offer help or suggestions, did not acknowledge me, kept ignoring me, and continued speaking and laughing on the phone. I've also worked in a lot of customer service at restaurants and would never do this. I don't do many reviews because that's for the Karen's, but that was just unacceptable and really rude. So I walked out and ordered dominos. Management should watch their cameras and hire better cashiers. And all of that was in camera because they have a sign saying "smile you're on camera." So go ahead and check, management. UPDATE: Dominos gave me an appetizer I ordered but it did not show on their side for some reason. I still received it and got free dessert for the inconvenience. This place should learn from Dominos! read more

It's my favorite pizza in the area. Good flavor, crust isn't too hard or too soggy like some places, and prices are reasonable.

Nice little place. A free tables, one outside, and takeout. Like the lunch special. $9 + tax gets you spaghetti, meatballs, and a salad & a can drink. Or many other options -several of those sandwiches sounded pretty good. I enjoy a salad with my meal and find such deals rare any more. Looked up pizza in the neighbor hood and they were the highest ranked. The wife and I decided to try it and we weee not disappointed. We ordered 2 pizza one all meat and the 2 was the Greek. Great crust and plenty of meat and cheese on both pies. The owner came out and spoke with me while I waited on the order and thanked me for coming by asked where I lived and was glad that I was supporting his business. Ordered for delivery and it was alright. The pizza options for delivery to TCH West campus were limited unless you want a chain so went with this location. Reviews were mixed but overall decent. The pizza tasted good and I liked the dough. It was not overloaded with toppings but also you don't feel like you're eating just bread. I did order the garlic bread and it was mediocre at best, probably better if fresh. The cannoli was the best part of my food. If I'm ever in need of pizza again for delivery while at Texas Children's I'll order again from here but won't be driving out of my way to get it. read more

I will say that as a local, i drove past this place many times without ever considering giving it a try. I was skeptical of how good the pizza could be based on the location and the fact that it wasn't your traditional "New York style" advertised pizza joint. But BOY WAS I WRONG! After my coworker treated me to the buona rolls, I placed an order of my own that following Friday. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and the rolls! The large pizza was HUGE and was so yum- the ingredients taste fresh and close to New York style- I was even more pleased to find out how fairly priced they are. You cannot beat it. I have now ordered 4 times since and have been more than satisfied each time! We now order a medium pizza + the rolls because the large pizza was too big for my family of 3...we had so much leftover!
