I made a reservation for brunch a day or two before, and it was super easy to do online. We chose to sit outside, and unfortunately with the location-of the bench, half of our party was kind of in the sun. We did really still enjoy our meal, though! I ordered the bowl with added avocado, and it was decent when I added hot sauce and all the sauce that they gave me on the side. I will say it did seem a bit overpriced. With the latte and the bowl, my whole meal ended up being about $40, and I think you can find better value elsewhere. That being said, I think it's a great place to catch up with friends. The service is pretty quick, and the lattes are great! read more

One of the best pastas I've had. The fries came out great and the free beer deal with the pasta was a great plus. My only complaint is that because they left the doors open the entire restaurant was a bit stuffy. 9/10 would come again read more

Everybody loved their food including two picky teenagers. It's such a cute place, great service, great food.

great spot for brunch! came in on a Sunday for brunch with no reservations and they were able to accommodate us with only a short wait! It's a super cute place with open doors in the summer! The food was amazing! The mushroom toast was so delicious and flavorful and the brekki roll was the perfect breakfast sandwich for a morning egg dish. the truffle fries were also notably so incredible!! highly recommend for brunch with some friends and would definitely come back! read more

Wow! What a great brunch! I was so very pleased with my experience and this amazing Williamsburg spot. We were sat immediately and the service was fast and efficient. The food was perfectly cooked and ready in under ten minutes. The portions and flavors are incredible. I had an awesome breakfast burrito. My partner really enjoyed her steak and eggs! Came in on a busy Saturday around noon for brunch. There was a bit of a wait but it was quick. Been to the one in Manhattan and loved it and decided to try the one here. Right off the start, the decor is vastly different from the one I have been to. This has more rustic feel to it. For drink, we order aperol spritz. For me, I felt like it had a better taste to it. For food, we ordered pork Benedict, a side of fries, Bucatini carbonara and spicy shrimp vodka rigatoni. The food are delicious! Just the right amount of food. read more

Solid food. Smooth, velvety, flavorful hollandaise sauce. BBQ pulled pork was alright but I'm from Texas so ya boi got high standards. Breakfast burrito was also nice and fresh. Nice location - great for people watching. Friendly staff & quick service. Prices were quite high though that's my only negative feedback. Solid spot overall read more

Just as expected, a hole in the wall place that was super cozy and chill vibes. Perfect place to have brunch on a snowy day. I booked my reservation for Sunday, instead of Saturday and they were still able to squeeze us in! Food came out super fast and was still super good. I loved my breakfast sandwich, the sauce was so good and they even put a hash brown in it and so it's super flavorful. read more

Came here on Saturday for brunch and we ordered the Steak & Eggs, it was a bit disappointing because the steak we were given was MORE FAT than meat; we ordered Tequila soda for drinks and those were delish!!! The bartender was generous and our waitress was the bestest! read more

I stumbled into this place one day and was pleasantly surprised with the meal I had. First of all, they have great outdoor seating on a nice day, and the service was great. All the food we got was good, but I was very impressed with the charshew and the Brussels sprouts. The charshew had great flavor and was cooked perfectly, as it was extremely tender. The Brussels sprouts were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and had great flavor as well. Overall, everything was a hit, and I would definitely come back, especially for those two dishes! read more

I loveeed the ambience. Such a cute spot with big open windows in Brooklyn. Service was good. But food wasn't anything too special. I would go back if I wanted to go somewhere without too much wait if I was in the area. read more

I wanted to try this spot because of the good reviews but beware because the service is bad. The waiter was not courteous. He did not ask us if we wanted anything else and just walked away. My friend had to flag him down to add an extra dish. The waiter took my friend's dish away very abruptly and didn't ask us if we wanted anything after our main dish. We did want waffles but decided it against after our experience. The dishes are mid. The burrito is okay, the sauce should have been on side because with the sauce, you have to eat it with a fork and knife. The Eggs Benedict were cooked inside, it was not liquidy. The waitresses are new because they gave us drinks that were not ours twice. The first time, they placed the drink on our table and took it away. Talk about a health code violation. The waiter didn't bother to offer us the check so we paid on the online platform via QR code which has a ~$2.00 service fee. read more

Came here for brunch, and I was pleasantly surprised! The space is nicely decorated, and our waitress was super friendly, she checked in on us often, which made the service feel extra attentive. It really had that hidden hole-in-the-wall charm, true to its name. There were so many options to choose from, but I went with the smash burger and a mimosa. The mimosa was served in the cutest glassware and had a perfect balance of sparkling wine and orange juice, not overly sweet, just the right touch of citrus. The smash burger absolutely hit the spot. Crispy edges, gooey American cheese, and perfectly toasted, buttery buns,it all came together so well. The fries were also amazing, super crispy like they had been double fried. Easily one of the best fries I've had in a while. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu! read more

6/30/2026 Went there twice, decided to bring friends there yesterday and sorry, will never come back again. We reserved a table for 4 at 1-ish, arrived on time and the fat white guy with a beard in a green t-shirt greeted us with an attitude. We told him about our reservation, he just put 4 menus on the table and left to grab glasses without saying anything. When we wanted to confirm him if that was our table, he was so rude. I think they changed the lunch menu because it looks so different from before. There are not many options anymore and my favorite orecchiette is gone, wild mushroom toast is gone. All the good food is gone from the menu. I don't know if they have changed to a new owner or what, this is not what I was expecting and I was definitely disappointed. I felt bad because I loved the food here, that's why I wanted to bring my friends here. The food was good, the waitress who served us was polite, nice and friendly. Thank god it was not the fat white guy. He was just so rude! At the beginning I thought maybe he is racist because we are non-white. But no, he is rude to everybody. If he hates his job he should quit. There are many people out there who need this job so badly. Thomas, people don't just come to a restaurant for food, we tip for services and we need to feel that it's worth it. This restaurant used to be packed all the time and we needed to wait outside for our table. Yesterday there were so many empty tables and we now know why. read more

Came in as a party of three and the service felt a bit unorganized from start to finish. The sign says "wait to be seated," but no one came over, so we walked up ourselves. We were then seated right by the door, even though there were plenty of open tables inside. We all ordered burgers--great size, cooked well, but at $23 each they're definitely on the pricey side (though probably average for the neighborhood). Desserts were also on the higher end, but nothing really stood out. The brownie had solid chunks rather than being gooey or melty, which was a bit underwhelming. Overall: decent food, okay experience, but service and attention to detail could use some tightening up. read more

I wish I could give this place 5 stars. The food is delicious, I enjoyed my meal and it even looks good. However, the whole time I was sweating like if I was in a sauna. Go literally anywhere else for the summer. The place has no AC, and although they open the windows and have the fans on, it makes absolutely no difference, you can't even get a slight breeze. The server was nice but the waitress made a comment I did not appreciate when I ordered my food and she asked if I was sharing after I ordered double protein in my bowl. Way to make a lady feel fat. Overall, delicious food but bad experience. I was uncomfortable in the summer heat. read more

This Hole in the wall is no hole, but a full size restaurant known for its brunch. Nothing too fancy - today I got the mushroom toast with chimichurri sauce, along with a cup of matcha. It's filling and hearty. Matcha was okay. Price is on the mid to higher side, like everything else in the area. Family friendly with high chairs or come with friends! Outdoor seating available while it's still warm enough. read more

Hole In The Wall located at Williamsburg, Brooklyn on Bedford Avenue, delivers an amazing dining experience. Started off with a cappuccino. Very impressed with their coffee Followed by scrambled eggs on toast. Their Shrimp Vodka was amazingly delicious. The dish features perfectly cooked pasta, paired with succulent shrimp that packs just the right amount of taste. The sauce was rich, with a kick that lingers without overpowering the natural sweetness of the shrimp. The flavors are balanced, and every bite is a perfect blend of heat, creaminess, and savory goodness. It's a must-try for anyone visiting this cozy spot in Brooklyn! Great service and loved the ambiance. read more

Four stars! Came here for happy hour and had the expresso martini for $10! Very good, not bitter at all and had a nice hint chocolate. Another happy hour deal which I thought was really good was a cocktail, wings and fries for $20! Happy hour is m-f 4-6! Reason why I'm giving 4 stars is because the expresso martini wasn't a full glass. I was missing about 2-3 oz. With that being said, I'm sure if I said something the bartender would've fixed it! Still, it shouldn't need to be asked. read more

If you are looking for a good brunch spot in the area, look no further. Hole in the Wall offers a variety of dishes - from hearty brunch options to light, sweet, savory, and/or healthy - there's something for everyone. During our visit, my friend and I ordered the Avocado Toast with a poached egg and the Kimchi Scramble, both were delicious but if I had to pick one, it would be hands down the avocado toast. It was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked with the perfectly ripe avocado, fresh herbs & grape tomatoes with the perfectly poached egg. The service was excellent. The staff is attentive, friendly and knowledgable about the menu. Despite being a busy spot, the service was efficient and fast, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. read more

There aren't that much options, but the food was very delicious. I got a burger and it was so great. Everything tasted fresh and very original. The fries had a little citrus to them which was odd but really worked for me. And they have the good kind of fries. Light, airy, not too greesy, and the ones with the crumbly outsides. It's hard to describe. But so good. Burger was cooked to perfection and whatever sauce they had on there was great. My sister enjoyed her dish as well. She got the mushroom avacado toast. And she also had a latte which looked great. read more

To be frank, terrible and shady. They absolutely don't care about customer service. I visited a week ago, and their chicken parma had a foul texture. (Thankfully I didn't get sick but I think it was springy "woody breast" meat) I panicked as I got scared of possible food poisoning and asked the server to take it off my table, and I offered to pay for the other 2 items and leave. I still tipped 20% for the wine and appetizer since it wasn't the server's fault. Next day, I checked my receipt email and I was charged over 33% in tip. I called the restaurant but they werent very nice to me and told me to email michael@parchedhg.com. The email bounced back. I also emailed tom@holeinthewallnyc.com and info@holeinthewallnyc.com but it has been dead silent. I can see Thomas replies to the reviews but I've waited a whole week to resolve the transaction discrepancy. They were out of so many menu items on Saturday night to begin with. It really feels like a hollow tourist trap run by some VC money. They don't care less about people who eat here or food safety. read more

The prices on the menu look a little steep, but they give you so much food it equals out. I got the fried brussel sprouts and got three meals out of it. The tables are very small and it's a little crowded, clearly a popular spot. It gets pretty loud due to everyone raising their voices and competing with each other- it's difficult to even hear yourself think. The service is not great- the servers pretty much ignore you and speak with the minimum amount of words possible. I have social anxiety so it was fine by me but I know a lot of people would be turned off by that, so keep that in mind. read more
