My wife and I stopped in for coffee/dessert as the final leg of date night since we pass by on the way home. I didn't have any expectations going in, so I was pleasantly surprised that this place actually was good, given the amount of overpriced and underwhelming options in the area. First off, the ambiance is stunning in the evening. Pretty lighting and a calm atmosphere. We only had a cappuccino and a tahini based smoothie, but both were very good. The menu looked great, a lot of options that looked healthy but also tasty lol. The servers were friendly. Definitely on the list to try for a full meal!

The design is very nostalgic. Art deco/midcentury diner. The location inside of a hotel gives it a very continental feel. It reminds of Europe, Miami, Tel Aviv. The service is very sweet and upbeat. I had a cortado and cheese boureka. The coffee was high quality; the boureka was excellent, luscious soft farmer's cheese and crunchy layers of pastry, with all the fixings including boiled egg, tahini, zhoug, grated tomato, fresh radish. Pleasant place for breakfast. I wish we had one in Bay Area.

The restaurant is very pretty, great to grab a drink with a friend. They had a love island watch party which was nice because it wasn't overcrowded at all. There was a woman who welcomed me in and constantly checked on my table and she wasn't our server so that was nice. I just got a chicken salad, I loved how packed with veggies it was. I would likely not return because I'm not in the area often but if I did I would get this salad again.

Absolutely delicious meal for Erev Rosh Hashanah. Came out to dinner tonight since I didn't feel like cooking. Nice crew working especially the Mexican bus boy. I ordered the Moroccan fish and a glass of Pinot Grigio fish was nice and tender, tasty sauce and nice warm challah bread.

Came for lunch with my wife. The dining area is very well lit with high ceiling and windows bright illuminating the space. The palms trees are a nice touch. The food was not only filling but exquisite and flavorful. My wife had the Shakshuka with a huge challah bread loaf. The tomatoes tasted perfectly ripe with minimal acidity. I had the falaffel as a side with my Florentine eggs Benedict. The falaffel was crispy to perfection with a nice thin coating and moist bite. The Benedict had a lovely hollandaise sauce. Normally have it with a protein, but the spinach substitute was a great move along with some caramelized onions underneath a perfect poached egg. And the potatoes, forget it. They was a surprisingly good dusting of spices and crispy all around. If you are a vegetarian there is a plethora of different dishes to choose from. Def recommend.

    Gorgeous place.

Such a great place! My friend suggested we go here for a Sunday brunch and it did not disappoint. It took a bit of time for the hostess to show up at the front, and for the waiters to arrive at our table; I'm guessing the staff was stretched a bit thin on a busy Sunday afternoon, so we gave them grace. Everything else made up for it though, including the service. First of all, the spacious, open area is decorated beautifully and filled with light. Then, the waiters were SO lovely, SO friendly, SO accommodating despite it being so busy. My Eggs Benedict? PHENOMENAL. They also had loose leaf tea options, served to you in your very own mini teapot. I requested some honey on the side and it came with a HONEY WAND. The details were delightful! Shout out to the waiter Stephen who took some time to chat with us after we were dazzled by his ear tattoos. Also, we never felt rushed at all as we lazily made our way through our meal and soaked up the gorgeous vibes. Awesome experience.

Everything we ordered was SO good you really can't go wrong. The mezze platter is perfect if you want to try a bunch of dips and the pita was insanely soft. The shakshuka was warm and comforting, and the short rib was fall-apart tender with soft brioche that was perfect for dipping. Ribeye cooked perfectly, branzino was fresh and flavorful. They're known for classics like shakshuka, schnitzel, hummus bowls, and their Nutella rosalach, which were the perfect little sweet bites. Don't skip the bread pudding either. Drinks are served all day too, from strong coffee to smoothies and milkshakes. Such a cozy European vibe, definitely a must-try!!

Very cute interior and very spacious and lit well. Not super busy on a Friday evening so that was nice in that there wasn't a lot of noise. I will say that I was disappointed that multiple items were not in stock/out. The cocktails were all great, I got the Red Hot Chili Peppers and also Margarita. I think the entrees were all huge portions amongst the group. The pasta verde was such a great sauce, would highly recommend those that like pesto. Our server was extremely attentive! The dessert was also great, quite literally felt like it melted in your mouth.

Cafe Lwadner in Williamsburg was an absolute standout from start to finish. The bread alone set the tone fresh, warm, and clearly made with care. It's the kind of detail that instantly tells you you're in for a great meal. The appetizers and dips were honestly the best part of the meal. The cheese sticks were perfectly crispy on the outside and melty on the inside, and the salads were fresh, flavorful, and anything but boring. Every starter felt thoughtfully done and seriously delicious. The ribeye perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with rich flavor. Overall, everything we had was delicious, but the apps and dips . Service was attentive !

I feel like the prices here are too expensive to justify the quality. My favorite thing was the babaganoush. Also, the service is not great. It feels like the staff haven't been trained properly. There were times that our waitress seemed lost and didn't know what she was doing. We had to ask other wait staff questions to get proper answers. Also, don't advertise a special menu on Opentable and give people the option to reserve the menu when you aren't offering it. Came here for latkes and caviar for NYE since it said it was on the menu when I reserved on Opentable. Got there and was told they only served it during Hannuka Hanukkah. The service was great, and the ambiance inside was great as well, but due to the food just lacking much personality, I will not be returning.

I went back for a weekday lunch recently and the food and atmosphere both hold up fabulously, so it makes sense why they've remained a brunch mainstay at both their East Village and Williamsburg locations. I enjoy that they serve their hot moroccan tea in a glass as is traditional, so you can see all the fresh mint leaves in your cup. I had tea like this multiple times a day during my trip to Morocco a few years back so sipping on this here took me back in time. I ordered a short stack of their blueberry pancakes which were very fluffy and delicious. They're not the kind of pancake with crispy edges, which are my preferred kind of pancake but I still found them satisfying. The moroccan eggs, which are two poached eggs in spicy stewed tomatoes and served with zahar pita is a delight. The pita is very fluffy and the zahatar adds such a nice fragrant spice to the bread. They used to serve this with potatoes but now those come at an additional charge but are well worth getting. The Williamsburg location also has pretty good wifi and they let me work on my laptop through my brief stay there. Kitchen was speedy too.

The consistency of the sandwiches has stayed the same in all the years I've been getting them. That goes for the chicken gyro too. Perfectly skinny and salted. Better than Mcdonald's, and we all know those are crack fries, so are these! Remember to get a sauce or get them all. Their sauces are all great. The only bad thing is they need to do a better job hiring people to take the phone orders. The lack of attention and care is why people have items missing from orders hence negative reviews. After the first couple of times that I noticed the pattern, I stopped calling and will instead go inside to order. The place is small, and even though you rarely see many people inside, they are swamped with to-go orders. So do yourself a favor and go in and order too. The wait is short.

We were not even planning on eating here but it has been in my list of places to try and our original final stop looked too crowded across the street. Pita was good. It was very creamy too. The Hummus came with a side of pickles. My friend does not eat them but I did. They were good but wish they did not come on same plate as olives as I dislike olives very much. So the pickles sort of tasted like the olives. We both got scrambled eggs that came with an israeli salad which was good. I got bacon which was good but sad to see there were only 2 pieces.
