I had really high hopes for this place but fell a little short on the flavors. Let's start with the location, service, and ambiance. Location was convenient. We were in town for a show and this place I found on Yelp because it was five minutes from theater and received 4.5 stars. Can't beat that right? Wrong. The service was excellent! I loved our server. She was so friendly and attentive and if I could, I would give her five stars! The ambiance was ok. Not too cozy, yet not too crazy. It was like eating inside a huge remodeled warehouse is the best way I could describe it. Now on to the food. The short rib sandwich- didn't have much flavor in the actual meat. So that was a letdown. The goat cheese and beet salad was ok. Had better. I also never had golden beets before so maybe that threw me off? I'm used to nice, plump, and sweet red beets. Not in season? Ok, I wouldn't know. The salmon was good on the ends as that had a nice smoky flavor but the more you bit it, the fishier it got. I know that sounds dumb because it is a fish, but for those that eat salmon, you'd understand what I'm saying. No complaints on the beer and unsweetened tea (not pictured). Finally, the fries. Loved the Boursin queso! So good! That cheese was also on short rib too though. The actual fries didn't seem fresh. Sort of like they were sitting in a basket waiting to be served. We also had the french toast donuts, forgot to take a pic. Those were tasty. A little overdone but had a moist maple bacon cream cheese middle per menu but it was more like a little glob of maple flavored syrup. Again, still tasty but could have been better. The warm rolls with maple butter which aren't free, were good just like the ones you'd find at a Texas Roadhouse. $5 for four rolls. Overall, I don't think we would go back unfortunately. If you are looking for a drink or to sit around a bar and watch a game, I can see it being a good place to go. Other than that, I can't see spending what we did for another meal here. What a gem this place is!!! we booked a large party (+40) dinner here over Presidents' Day weekend, and had the pleasure of working with the GM Mr. English. He was so helpful and courteous. He really made the whole experience very enjoyable and easy when we had about 20 children under the age of eight in our party. The menu was excellent. His recommendations were spot on. The servers were very attentive, friendly, and happy to serve us. They were able to accommodate several split checks which made the dining experience very easy for all the parents and families. The food was excellent. I had the pot roast which was more food than my eyes or my stomach could even imagine. Giant portions reasonable prices full of flavor can't complain. Their drink menu was very diversified and a lot of us enjoyed several cocktails that were made with their own liquors. The establishment itself is gorgeous. Very clean and spacious. We dined in the upstairs private loft area, which was very cool to have our own dedicated space. I don't know if I'll ever come back to Hershey Pennsylvania but if I do this place is on the list read more

First time there for lunch. Plenty on the menu to choose from which made it hard. It all sounded yummy. Hubby and I shared the chicken salad sandwich and the smoked turkey Rachel. I upgraded to fresh cut sweet potatoes. Worth the cost. Hubby enjoyed the fresh cut fries that came with the sandwich . I love fries and they did not disappoint. Chicken salad very fresh and liked all the goodies that was in it. Just the right amount of mayo to hold it together. Nice fresh bun. I love Rachel's but I think I prefer regular turkey verses the smoked now that I tried the smoked. Still very good. Friends shared the haddock sandwich, which while it did fall apart because it was so fresh, no worries get your fork out. Restaurant has their own take on Cesar salad by added kale and olives. Fresh and tasty. Not too much dressing which some restaurants over dress a Cesar. I had their lime larger. I actually asked for a lime as I felt it could have a little more lime flavor. Had I closed my eyes I would have said it tasted " lime'e" (not a word lol). However it was a nice beer and would order it again Server was spot on, we didn't have a long wait for food. A nice place off the beaten path. Rating: Food 4.5 NY Strip was cooked to order with a good char but lacked flavor. The asparagus was rubbery. The mashed potatoes were the star of the dish. Absolutely fantastic flavor. Service 4.5 server was very friendly, but not very attentive. Ambiance 4.0 the indoor seating area is an open concept with dark decor, creating a confusing setting. Make it open and bright, or dark and cozy. This has become one of my favorite stops, on my way to visit my son and his family. We usually meet here for lunch and cocktails. We did so this past weekend. As usual, the cocktails were as great as the food! The guys at the bar are attentive. The drinks are consistent and yummy. The Brussel Sprouts are my favorite appetizer. They are absolutely delish! This trip, the guys enjoyed the Elk Burger and I the Tuna Burger. I totally loved my burger. Have never had something I didn't like. We came here because the BIG brewery in town felt barbaric with standing in one line to order food and another to order beer. So glad we came - waiter service on the huge outdoor patio. It's off the main road and you wouldn't even know it was there if not specifically looking for it. The restaurant provided a huge bowl of water for my dog. The human drinks were good. Just visited this restaurant for the first time on a Thursday afternoon. Definitely a high quality establishment. Good variety of food choices and it was all delicious. Service was impeccable. Food came out quickly and was hot. Serving sizes were large. Especially for the price. We enjoyed the classy yet rustic look to the place. We sat inside but it looks like they had a really nice patio area. We'll probably opt to sit outside next time. I ordered a whisky flight. You can choose 3 different whiskys to give a try. I was very impressed with this relatively new addition to the Hershey restaurant scene. The atmosphere is quite modern industrial, as it resides within a very renovated former Hershey recycling center. Hidden Still moved from Lancaster, and I did not have the opportunity to visit that location for comparison. The food options are great. Plenty of elevated pub fare items at one end and things like short rib pot roast and sea scallops and grits at the other. There is a pretty extensive kids' menu as well. The drinks are nicely crafted with in-house liquors like their David E. Bourbon, which is my personal favorite. As a beer fan, I was also impressed with their tap list consisting of PA drafts from all over the state. Make a reservation if you can because this place gets busy. read more

I came here with my grown kids and we just loved it. The building itself is architecturally beautiful and there is a large patio. We had a mix of salads, sandwiches and entrees and they were all plentiful and tasty. None of us are big liquor drinkers but the drinks looked beautiful as they passed by. Got lunch with my parents, wife, and two kids. The food and service, especially our server William, was incredible. My sons both have severe nut allergies and we stupidly ordered the fried Brussels sprouts without noticing they come with cashews. William suggested he take the dish back and bring us a new one at no charge. William was also really patient in taking my kids' lunch order, offering to make substitutions or put things on the side. And the FOOD!!! The Brussels are amazing. We also got chicken fingers. They are tender and salty-sweet. Absolutely irresistible. I went to Hidden Still Spirits before going to a concert and had a great experience. You need to make reservations for sure. Although it's a large venue, it was completely full. Our waiter was so accommodating, friendly and provided great service. He also made sure we were served quickly so we could get to the concert! We started out with their crafted signature bourbon cocktails, all outstanding. We started are food journey with Kung Pao Fried Sprouts and Bang Bang Calamari both were delicious. This is such a solid place to visit if you are in the Hershey area. First off - the building itself is really something to marvel over. Modern/industrial vibe...you can't go wrong. Huge windows that bring in a ton of natural light. The only downfall to a space like this is noise, but that's to be expected as you walk in. If you are looking for a more intimate place to eat, I wouldnt have this at the top of your list, but if you wanted to just get drinks, or have a fun & casual lunch or dinner, totally the right spot. Their bar is pretty big, can likely sit 30 people or so, and their bartenders definitely know their stuff. There are even suggested cocktails on the menu per some of their plate offerings, which is appreciated. I ordered the elk burger, given you don't see that on an every day menu, and let me tell you...I could come back here for the burger ALONE. Cooked perfectly, and packed with flavor. The gaminess was actually complimented well with sweet bourbon caramelized onions, and then a nice fresh zing from the blue cheese. Their sweet potato fries were killer as well. I didnt go with their recommended drink, but I did have the Blueberry Cream Ale, and I thought that still went really well with the sandwich. Prepare to make reservations. This place is always packed, which if you dont trust my review, then at least trust what you hear when you try to make a reservation. Would highly recommend checking this place out. read more

Manhattan Started with a few appetizers; crab Scotch eggs and tuna nachos. Using fried wontons for the nachos was a delicious twist. Excellent flavor and crunch paired nicely with the fresh tuna. Main courses included sea scallops and grits cooked to perfection. My wife enjoyed the chicken and leek pie. The chicken was tender and flavorful in a delicate puff pastry. The meatloaf stack was a refreshingly different way to deliver an age old classic. Outstanding flavor in all respects. Shared a delicious bourbon pecan brownie. We visited for the first time and had a great experience! We started with drinks at the bar. It was a busy night but the bartender (guy with blonde hair) was awesome and made us well blended drinks. Before we were sat, he gave us recommendations for food and he was spot on! Jessica was our waitress and she was also awesome! She had great food and drink suggestions as well. We got ribs and crab cakes and they were great picks. Best ribs I ever had! They have a dry rub so we took the advice and got both sauces on the side and we would do it that way again. The guy who ran our food, I wish I knew his name (mustache/beard) was also awesome. He would make a great waiter too! Had dinner here with two friends last month. All I can say is...WOW! This is an amazing addition to the Hershey dining scene. One block of Chocolate Avenue, the distillery and restaurant are housed in a renovated former Hershey chocolate plant. They distill their own spirits and use them to create signature cocktails that are a step above what I've found in the area. The food is absolutely amazing. Our first visit here. Drink menu was amazing as well as the food menu options! Meal was paced well and the meal presentation was great. We selected the baby back ribs, and the prime rib sandwich, crab flathead app, and apple fritter dessert. All were freshly prepared and tasted amazing. Pulled pork Mac and cheese was a creamy delicious hit with everyone at my table. (I gave my coworkers the evil eye to stay back). I eventually mixed the relish that was on top around in it and it pumped up the delish flavor even more. My co-workers and I all shared each of our meals. Fish and chips (potato wedges) were ok. The coleslaw was perfect! Crab melt BLT had so many flavors going on that it was as confusing to my palate. It was ok but not for me. My co-worker enjoyed it but her tastebuds are weird anyway. We still love her. The place has industrial vibes which cool. I love saving buildings especially when old bricks are involved. We couldn't drink, since we had to go back to work.
