Within 3 days, I came back again and again and tried: 1. Gongfu 3.3 - Black Tea, Milk, Pistachio Cloud with Toasted Meringue 2. Oolong Milk Brew 3. Matcha 3.1 - matcha, milk yuzy foam cloud 4. Oolong 3 - Oolong Tea, Milk, Pecan Foam Cloud Not one miss in these "experimental" drinks. Perfect balance of tea flavor, creaminess, and sweetness which is not too much nor artificial tasting. You should focus on the experimental drink menu bc the regular menu you can find at other Hey Tea stores. Ordering system needs work. After you put in your order, it's not clear if they make order according to the order # or your place in a confusing line at the counter. Regardless, this is worth a return next NYC trip.

Black tea, pistachio cold foam, with a marshmallow rim

I came to the Broadway location and they had this really fun exclusive drink here. It was an iced black tea with pistachio cream, marshmallow fluff, and matcha powder. Sounds like a lot but it was very good. Not too sweet which I liked. My mom wanted another one all weekend long. She drank half of mine and another on her own lol

Hey there! I have a secret. This is no ordinary hey tea but a hey tea lab. A hey tea lab is where they do crazy experiments to concoct the next big potion that sucks your wallet dry. All jokes aside, they are really cooking at this lab with precise equipment. And by golly was it good. Their pistachio foam is richer than the other hey tea establishments in nyc. Do check them out- just avoid random rays.

This is my second time visiting this location in NYC. This is one of special Heytea location in Times Square. They sell their exclusive drinks here compared to their other regular locations. They do have their original menu in the back of the store. You will have to walk to back to order. The register in the front is where you ordered signature exclusive drinks . The service was quick. They have good amount of staffs to prepare the orders. My wait was about less than 10 minutes. I ordered the Tiramisu Milk Tea with no added sugar. It tasted okay. It didn't "wow" me but that's okay. It might because I didn't put % of sugar. I didn't want sugar anyway since I was afraid it might be too sweet. It was not sweet at all. I would love to try other drinks when the weather is nicer.

    Just like a magic potion!

I am in complete awe with this place! The teas are very refreshing and delicious! It's like a magic potion to your stomach. Every one of my taste buds was savoring such a wonderful elixir of magic tea! The place is so nice and clean and the service was great!

Soooooo good that I went 3 times during 4 day stay in NYC. I LOVED the tea lab drinks, especially the white one with pomelo foam. All the staff were super nice too! The only thing that was confusing was the pick up system. Tea lab drinks are picked up near the register not the regular pick up spot.

I've never been to a yogurt store that makes you pay a set price first before selecting toppings, which also means toppings are limited based on the yogurt size (something I only realized later after looking at a picture I took in the store). The employee who was supposed to help me immediately gave me attitude, as if I was supposed to already know all the "rules" of the store. I said nothing that would have warranted that reaction -- I simply went over to the display. At the register, I scanned my rewards app then couldn't find the card reader to pay. After about 20 seconds, I realized it was sitting on top of a case of water bottles (pictured). The topping limit signage was also placed off to the side of the register where customers wouldn't naturally see it -- it wasn't even on my side and was partially blocked. I only found this out when I went up to the counter after I got my yogurt. While choosing toppings, I asked how many I was allowed, and she responded, "How many toppings do you think you're supposed to choose?" with a noticeably rude tone. When I chose cookie dough as my fourth topping, she only gave me a few pieces, dropped another on the counter (pictured), and ignored it. The cookie dough topping was stale too. I also noticed she did not seem to treat other customers the same way. I eventually went back to the register - I asked her if the yogurt was actually strawberry matcha because it tasted like vanilla. I also asked about her rudeness because I genuinely didn't understand why I was being treated that way for asking simple questions. She said the information was "on the wall," even though it was difficult to see. I actually ended up apologizing earlier because she made me feel like I was burdening her. The only personable thing she said the entire interaction was that I didn't need to apologize, but the tone still felt unfriendly. Two customers sitting nearby ended up leaving without ordering. I understand it was Super Bowl Sunday and she appeared to be working alone, which may have contributed to stress. Still, I left feeling extremely shaken and even spilled yogurt on my jacket afterward. I would not return to this location. I used to come to this location sometimes, but after this experience -- and a previous visit where I ordered a tea and received very little -- I would not return.

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil. This business is very accessible by MTA NYC Transit at Port Authority 42nd Street's A, C, E trains and buses near the peripheral of Times Square.

I needed a sweet pick-me-up after missing a train home. While the ice cream flavors looked interesting, I opted for a blue coconut iced matcha latte instead. Aside from the striking visuals, the drink tasted great. There was sweetness from the matcha and the coconut but not super overtly sugary. I also got a box of four donuts. They're a little pricey, but each donut is a pretty hefty ring of chewy glutinous rice flour batter. I had them the following morning, and the donuts still tasted fresh. There was a little bit of oiliness from the frying, but it did not taste off or too greasy. I think this is from the meticulous frying process and good management of the oil. I got the Cookies and Cream, Rose, Lavender, and Pistachios. I loved the Rose and Lavender flavors, especially the lavender which had a solid floral flavor without being perfume-y. I look forward to trying other donuts and sweets from Bear Donut in the future!
