There's finally a heytea in the bay! Or multiple at this point. I came on a weekday after lunch and there was a short line which didn't take too long. I have to say, their fruit drinks are better than their milk teas in my opinion. I'm waiting for the day when peach cheezo gets added to the menu. I've only had it while I was in China, but hopefully they'll also have it when it becomes in season. Looking forward to the next time! read more

Hey Tea is by far my favorite place for boba! The drinks are incredible -- especially the brown sugar boba, which is absolutely amazing. It can get really busy, so I recommend ordering online to skip the long wait since there's not much seating and lots of people just waiting in line. Even with the crowd, the boba here is worth it every time! read more

Coming on a weekend? Expect long waits. Haven't tried Hey Tea before? The grape drinks are delicious and I hear the other fruit teas are consistently good but also know that the drinks are ~$8 now so they're on the pricier side. read more

I love Hey Tea and this brings the same energy as Sunnyvale with the large crowd and counter full of drinks, etc. I will say I still love the Sunnyvale location, but the drinks are equally the same. Expect to wait outside because the inside can get packed quick. This is THE BEST pearl tea house in the plaza aside from Hui Lau Shan lol. read more

i believe that they designed the shop for grab and go; that's normally hey tea shops. anyway, not interact too much with staffs cause you order through kiosk or app. for their drinks, so far always consistent in every shop or location. quality and taste are always great!!! for tea lovers, definitely and absolutely a recommended shop to try. not taking picture of my drink cause once i took it, i sipped and drank it all right away ~ lol... read more

I really wanted to love this place, but it was unfortunate. I didn't think it was going to be super busy when I walked in, there was at most 10 people which I thought not bad. To my surprise I waited 40 minutes for my drink and when my number popped on the screen I still had to wait another 10 minutes for my drink not only because everyone was waiting at the counter, but also there was a ton of drinks that no one knew which was who's. When I finally reached to mine only 2 of 3 were ready because they were waiting for whip cream. It just seemed so unorganized for having a lot of employees working that day. Honestly the drink was mid nothing too special I could have gone to a different boba place and gotten something better without the hassle. The boba pearls did seem fresh and had good flavor so I'll give them that. Maybe I'm being too harsh I mean I though it would be so good by the immensity of people there was, or maybe I just didn't pick right either way I'm giving this place a hard pass. Too long of a wait for a drink! read more

This is such a cute little store, serving a unique take on tea and boba. Their flavors and story is very different from the typical boba store, with real ingredients rooted in China. I asked the young man at the register to recommend me something for my first time and this drink did not disappoint. Their most popular flavors are the mango boom line and triple matcha. The mango drink I got had some coconut cream, coconut sago pieces, and grapefruit on top. Yum! read more

Heytea - Triple supreme matcha latte - Bubble Tea Near Me - Milpitas, California

I ordered the mulberry boom with regular ice and 30% sweetness ($6.99), cloud coconut blue matcha with regular ice and regular sweetness ($7.99), and an iced jasmine latte with regular sweetness ($5.49). The mulberry boom had a good amount of mulberry flavor and pulp. I definitely felt caffeinated after drinking it. The coconut blue matcha was visually appealing but tasted mostly like sweetened coconut milk even after stirring. The iced jasmine latte had a pleasant jasmine tea flavor but there was a bit too much milk for my liking. Overall, I'd consider returning to try their other drinks. It was busy when I went and I waited a long time for my drinks. My number didn't show up on the screen so we had to ask a worker about my order. My drinks had been sitting on the counter for awhile so the ice in my mulberry boom was completely melted when I finally got it. I'd like to come back when it's not so hectic. read more

Definitely see why Hey Tea is so popular... The drinks are amazing and you can taste the quality ingredients. If I don't know what to get for the day, I always go for the Mango Grapefruit Boom. It's refreshing, not too sweet, and pretty filling. I like it as a dessert. I've had their matcha, a few other milk teas, and their crisp grape beverages. All were excellent. The only one I wouldn't reorder so far is the crisp grape. Mine had a foamy top which deflated and resulted in less "drink." Service has been a hit or miss and largely depends on the line size. I've experienced both kind and rude service. My biggest gripe is the inability to order ahead. I've seen it open up while I'm on the app and then shut off. Really annoying and don't think it's been made available since the place opened. Overall, I think the drinks are worth the wait. The lack of online ordering needs to be fixed. read more

This has to be my new favorite drink/dessert shop. I have only been to heytea a few times and different locations but they're always consistent with the taste. I always order the mango coconut boom or mango grapefruit boom and it never misses or disappoints. It's fresh, fruity, sweet and just the most amazing thing ever. I will say that out of the locations i tried, this one is a bit more busy and chaotic. We placed an order 20 min before and we still waited an extra 15 min since they were still making the sago. Nonetheless, heytea is a great choice for your sweet treat. It definitely lives up to the hype. read more

Got a coconut mango boom and cloud coconut blue. It does take awhile for them to make because they do get busy. I suggest ordering ahead if you can. The drinks were both good. Sweetness was perfect. The mango pretty much tastes like a mango smoothie with pieces of mango and coconut jello. The cloud coconut blue was a bit too sweet but still pretty tasty. Could use a bit more matcha though. It was small inside so there were a lot of people just waiting outside. They had a lot of employees making the drinks, so it isn't too slow a service compared to the amount of drinks people ordered ahead of me. Not really a place you could sit and enjoy your drink. It is a big plaza so you can always enjoy the walk. read more

I've been twice recently and it's very packed! The line is always quite busy, and drinks take at least 10-15 minutes due to the wait. They're pretty quick given the long line. The drinks in default are not too sweet, so if that's something you prefer, this is the spot for you. My favorite drink so far is the Cloud Coconut Blue -- very refreshing yet milky. It doesn't taste too overly coconuty, which I like. Highly recommend ordering ahead if you don't want to wait (but it's done via their app). read more

I love their coconut mango boom and matcha jasmine latte. If I can, I try to order on the app to avoid the lines and it's pretty accurate. I wish the non-slushie version of the coconut mango boom was colder but still love it. I love matcha and jasmine tea and they pair together so well! read more

The teas here are really strong and fragrant! I love the their ingredients are fresh. You can order on their app to save time but honestly haven't gone when the wait was too long. They have seats along the wall but it interferes with the line is it's strange. Don't plan on hanging out in here. I've gotten the strawberry boom which is my favorite and the milk tea with bobo. Their bobas are warm and soft! I recommend! read more

It's crazy how new tea places keep popping up but I do think Hey Tea is giving other shops a run for their money by offering some unique beverages. Their specialty seems to be the cloud drinks which is offered with both milk teas and fruit tea varieties - most notably grape and mulberry which is rare. I opted for the Boba Milk Shake which includes red blossom tea, milk, and salted cheese foam. I loved the milk tea quality and flavor - light, refreshing, and perfect creaminess. Where they could improve is the boba itself - strange after taste and not chewy soft. It would be helpful to have a short description of the drinks to help customers with their order. This place was packed at noon and customers seemed to keep piling in - it took 15 minutes for my drink (as they mentioned in advance) so I stepped into 99 ranch for quick shopping. Interior of Hey Tea was aesthetically pleasing: clean, simple, low counter tops, line flowed well from entrance to exit. I also liked the enticing tea visuals displayed on their tv monitors. #25-02-02 read more

I have tried a few drinks here and I am a fan of all of the ones I have tried. I like the mango with the grapefruit and the crisp grape. Both of these are nice and refreshing. Line can be intimidating, but it moves pretty quick. They also offer online ordering, so you can order ahead and just time it. Service is great, as the first time I went, I asked for recommendations and they provided a few of the popular options. Parking is pretty easy as there is a parking lot. read more

In app check in gives you 15% off, max $5. We got the jasmine matcha latte which was a floral mix and fragrant. We also got the Strawberry Lychee shake which was delicious as well. Love how the app breaks down the ingredients for us to see what we are drinking, it was an enigma to me before. It's also cute how there's stickers you can choose from as well that are printed on the cup. read more

My friend said this is her new fave boba spot so of course we had to go! It was pretty busy on a Wednesday afternoon surprisingly. It took a while for my drink (which wasn't a problem for me). I'm forever a matcha girl so I tried the matcha jasmine tea. I selected extra matcha (no extra charge). You could really taste the quality of their ingredients and it wasn't overpowered by too much sugar like some other places. The matcha was definitely that A grade kind. The fruit drinks here are amazing! My favorite drinks are the mango grapefruit boom and the mango coconut boom -- cant go wrong with either! Full of toppings and just the right sweetness in my opinion. The coconut pudding in the mango coco boom is so good and the sago in both id nicely chewy. The place itself is pretty small so it can get pretty crowded and loud. However, they have an app you can order ahead with. read more

This place is always popping, and for good reason. The drinks are good, but it takes a while for drinks to be ready. It's probably easier to just order through their app ahead of time! I'm giving this spot 3 stars since I had a negative first experience, so I'm building back trust bahaha The first time, I tried their seasonal guava green grape drink. We ordered on the kiosk, and realized we got the last one (yay). When it came out, I noticed it looked really different from other orders for the same drink. There was barely any green grape, so I asked the girl employee if she could add more. She looked at it and said it's in the middle and to just stir it. I asked again if she could just add more green grape since I really like the flavor, and she asked if I wanted it to be remade. I said no, I just want more green grape so she took the lid off and walked away but it looked exactly the same as before lmao I'm pretty sure she didn't do anything to it. It was also weird because I saw other green grape drinks so I knew they had plenty to just add a scoop of. I took a sip later and it tasted pretty bad without much green grape flavor (surprise surprise). I'm not sure why I was given attitude especially when they were definitely not out of green grape ingredients. There's also a sign on the counter that says they can remake it if you're not happy with it! I've tried their cloud grape and grapefruit mango cloud, and they're really good! Slowly trying other drinks on their menu. It could've been a one-off experience for that guava one, but it still seems weird to almost be gaslit when I'm just asking for a component that I like and I'm being charged like $7+ for. Anywayssss this place is good but just very busy and it's a small space! read more

Amazing!! Usually, this store is very crowded and you think it might take awhile, but they get through all the drinks really fast!! I walk into the store and it smelled amazing. The drink was pretty good and flavorful. The wait to put in an order was very long. They were severely understaffed so there was no one to take our order. It was also very stuffy and warm in the shop. Luckily there were other shops around to walk around to wait for the drink but that was also a long wait. Overall if you're willing to wait for at least 40 minutes then you can come here. There are other locations so maybe the wait is shorter. I would definitely come back to try other drinks, but maybe when they're not busy. read more

Online ordering or pick up is a joke here. There's no proper signage for pick up and the "line" is not even a line at the store. I understand it's a tight space, but the store should do better to either ribbon off space for people to properly line up or create proper signage for pick up. There were over 20 drinks sitting on the table waiting to pick up and staff not really trying to distribute drinks for pick up orders. I had to walk all the way to the front of the line and flag the staff that was taking orders to help me get my drink, to which I was told "I will help you in a moment". He did not help me at all. I stood there and decided to just ask for some room in the middle of the line (???) and try to get the attention of the guy scanning more drinks to notify people for their pick up orders. By the time I got my drink, it was melted down. Additionally, I appreciate that the store uses fresh grapes for their grape drink, but mine had seeds? The Hostetter location gave me a better experience overall and I'd consider driving there than here, even if it's closer for me to visit this location. TLDR; fix the online order pick up experience. Add signage and consider getting markers to get people to properly wait in line. read more

The mango coconut boom is so delicious! I go here every time I go to dinner in this area, it's the perfect sweet treat :)

Hey Tea has been the center of internet hype and I feel like it's been blown a little out of proportion. By no means are the drinks bad but it's not the best place by far. The store smells so fragrant of tea but the drinks are a bit light on the tea flavor. The blended drinks are probably the best here. The matcha latte was light on matcha taste as well. read more

Fast service despite being quite busy. Definitely check out the menu beforehand if you're indecisive. When we went, there were no pictures on the menu so it was a little hard to choose a drink. With how busy it is right now, it is not a sit-down tea shop. For the mango coconut bloom, I prefer zero sugar and it is still perfectly sweetened from the fruits and jellies. read more

Came for their grand opening and final day of buy one get one free! We waited 30 minutes in line to order and another 25 minutes for our drink. Luckily it's in a plaza so we could walk around while we waited for our drink. They did come by the line with some green tea samples! The mango grapefruit bloom is my favorite! The milk tea is creamy and the boba has a good texture but nothing super special. They should have a buy one get one half off for the next 3 days! read more

heytea is definitely in my top 3 for boba places. they are consistently good and every time they bring a new menu item, they have a bogo to let the customers try. lines can be pretty long and the app typically is unavailable for pre orders so dont think its going to be a grab and go. but its worth the wait. my go tos are mango coconut, boom grape, and matcha triple supreme. its also fun to see when they collab with others like twinkle twinkle. this is a good addition to the boba count in this strip mall. read more

Came on a Sunday afternoon and despite a crowd, it only took about ~15 minutes to get our drinks. Not really a place to hang around though, due to how busy it was & the limited sitting space. Matcha cloud latte: 4.5 stars The foam on top was super yummy and went very well with the matcha. The only thing I'd wish for is a tinier bit of a stronger matcha taste. Mango coconut boom: 4 stars Very refreshing! Not an overwhelming coconut flavor (which we liked), however wished it was a little colder. Would def come back again :D read more

I finally got the chance to try HeyTea after grabbing lunch in the plaza. They have an app and they have a discount for first time users if I am not mistaken. We ordered via the app. I got the blue matcha coconut drink. The one thing about this drink is that sweetness can only be adjusted to add more to it. I ended up getting this drink but with the other sugar substitute since I didn't want it to be too sweet. It was delicious! The colors are very pretty and the coconut jelly was fresh. The drinks here are definitely on the pricier side, but also pretty unique. I'd recommend checking it out and ordering online beforehand since the lines can get long on the weekends. read more
