HeyTea is usual my go to drink but the staff didn't look at my number and told me my drink was not ready when I got the notification that my drink was ready 10 minutes ago. The staff were rude thus, received a lower rating. I'm not ordering from this site ever again. I'm usually the one lining up for their drinks including their promotional drinks and going to all their grand opening too.

A few of my friends recommended me this place that opened near me. I was skeptical because tea places feels like a dime a dozen nowadays and drink prices can be steep. However, I have to say, this summer, they have been having a lot of BOGO events that I could not say no to. The only caveat with this place is that there is no online ordering so you can go pickup whenever. You have to go in store and purchase and sometimes before finalizing, they will tell you the wait time (the first time I went for the first BOGO event I heard about, the wait time was 2 hours! so I opted to leave) and the second time, waited on line for about 15 minutes and another 15-20 for the drink. And another time, I purchased and the cashier told me it's about an hour wait time. Overall, I think their service is decent in notifying customers about wait times. Since I live around here, I don't mind stopping by home, doing a few things then head back out. I've tried their matcha drink (pretty good!) and their newest coconut mango blue. Surprisingly, I think their coconut mango blue drink was better than their matcha (I love matcha but ... this round goes to coconut). It's a great summer drink for a hot day. And when you walk into the store? Oh my god, the smell of tea is intoxicating. If you love tea, why not give this place a try?

One of my favorite drink spot, however there is a line. Recommend you order ahead using the app and rack up some points for coupons! Mango one is definitely a hit ! Cloud grape was disappointing as it feels artificial . Their blue is not a hit for me but I rather stick with their triple matcha. That one by far is the best especially the matcha mochi.

My supervisor wanted to buy me a bubble tea to celebrate my birthday. I told her to surprise me with the flavor. She ordered me the coconut mango boom. Out of all the drinks from HeyTea, this one was my favorite. There were mango chunks in it. Also, I am a big fan of coconut. The delivery was fast to our worksite.

Heytea usually has a bit of a wait but I just order through the app ahead of time. The matcha cloud jasmine latte is really good and is my usual order. I also tried the kale boost tea because a lot of people were ordering it. It was surprisingly tasty and sweet, I didn't even taste the kale. The cloud coconut blue was good as well but I'm not a big fan of the strong coconut taste. The store smells delicious and even the fragrance of the sweet tea lingers in the air outside.

When HEYTEA first opened, there were lines around the block. They did a great campaign, pre-opening... they had the entire store posted with their namesake logo telling every tea lover... and there are plenty in Bensonhurst... "coming soon"... hyped up customers came to support at grand opening. Now it seems to have slowed down, easier to mobile order and pick up. Wait was less than 5 mins. It's a tiny tiny shop and a bit too warm inside, it was stuffy today... and I almost couldn't breathe inside... hope they figure out a comfy temp. I've had both their cloud crisp grape and crisp grape boom. One with cheese foam.. which I kept forgetting that I don't actually like the salty version. Which is the "cloud" one. I miss my "black grape slush" from Moge... (RIP); so finding HeyTea with a similar grape drink is awesome. Love it. Drink was delicious, refreshing and packed with tiny grapes for the crunch. What I don't love... the $8+ price tag. I don't know when it became ok for all these Asian tea places (boba chains) to charge so much for a drink... inflation? It's been pricey before inflation. Soooo... idk.

Love their drinks, but this place can get so busy, especially when they have their BOGO deals. My favorite drink has to be the mango coconut boom. It is basically a coconut mango sago dessert in a cup. So good and refreshing. Their matcha drinks are good as well. Do not come in a rush because I have never waited less than 20mins at this place.

Stopped by Heytea while I was in the area and decided to get a matcha based drink rather than my go-to fruits drinks. I got their supreme matcha latte which featured their fancy matcha in both drink and matcha foam forms. The matcha cheese foam was tasty with a touch of savory cheese flavors but most of the matcha taste was from the latte itself. The latte was smooth and milky; matcha flavors prominent. Liked how my 30% sweetness was as advertised. Staff were so patient with me! I haven't been to HeyTea in a while so I forgot what topping options I had besides regular boba. Even though I ultimately did not choose any, the lady still went through what was available for my hot drink! Store is pick up only and orders come out quick!

YUM - what a refreshing way to top off a meal! Heytea has become my go-to for fruit tea bevs! We ordered via their app, since the lines are usually long (rightfully so). Their Coconut Mango Boom (and the version with Pomelo) is always a safe, delicious choice! Each of their drinks have FRESH fruit in them as well! I tried a sip of my friend's Cloud Grape drink and it tasted just like grape flavored medicine, so it wasn't for me lol, but my friend really enjoyed it! Their drinks are priced ~$8-9 depending on if you get their medium or large. We only waited ~10 min for our order. Shall be returning again!

We've been frequently visiting this location since they opened a few months ago! With most bubble tea spots, you get a sugary/sweet smell when you pass by, but with Heytea you get a strong tea smell! Their drinks are not that sweet and are customizeable for the most part to fit your taste. We typically get the coconut mango boom or the brown sugar milk /milk tea depending on our mood but both are really good options. Their service have always been quick and ordering ahead makes it super convenient. Decided to try the cloud coconut blue since its seasonal and it did not disappoint. Really enjoy the coconut flavors and the coconut jelly. The coconut jelly reminds me of the coconut pudding dessert at dim sum places!

We placed an order on app to pick up their new promoted drinks - Bud Longjing Latte. We ordered them in both real sugar and artificial sweeteners. The place was packed so I definitely recommend ordering ahead of time. Wait time was about 40 minutes for us. Unfortunately the drinks were hard to mix with most of the matcha stuck on top. The drink with real sugar was noticeably sweeter. Otherwise both drinks were delicious.

    Mango boom!
    Cristina C.

I think this might be my new favorite place to get drinks! My friends and I were nearby and came close to closing and there were no lines. I ordered the mango boom and it was a 10/10! There were fresh mango pieces on the bottom and it was a mango slush mixed with tea. The tea flavor mango slush was very interesting and tasted so good! Will definitely be coming back for this when it gets warmer. The space was also very clean and modern. The staff were very nice and quick!

Newly opened on 86th Street, Heytea redefines bubble tea (and in fact, even states on their receipt that they are not bubble tea.) Within the first sip you can taste the quality of the tea, completely different from any other take out tea you can purchase in the neighborhood. While most "bubble teas" are packed with sugar that masks the flavor of the tea itself, Heytea prides themselves on using quality leaves and being able to taste every part of their beverages. My group opted for the brown sugar boba & matcha and we were blown away with the quality and surprised at how flavorful it was. Even though we usually opt for less sugar in our boba, we decided to try the drink in its original form, and were extremely surprised that it wasn't as sweet as drinks we have gotten from competitors. They say you eat with your eyes first, and the aesthetic and decor of Heytea is absolutely beautiful. With minimalistic design and no clutter, showcasing their specialty (the tea), you feel as if you've entered a tranquil luxury cafe and are transported away from the hectic streets of Brooklyn. Bonus points for Heytea being eco friendly with the option of bringing your own cup & having compostable straws!

I wish I'd been able to pick which tea I got but the house black tea they served and picked for me was good. The sandwiches were delicious but I found the desserts to be lacking. Service was wonderful. There's only one bathroom and it was very clean and aesthetic, like most of the decor. It screams maximalist and vintage, very fun. Everything was good but I'm not sure if it's worth the steep price. There's other more reasonably-priced afternoon tea service options in the city.

This is my first time at the Brooklyn location and I really liked the zen vibes and minimalistic decor. I prefer a more earthy, grassy matcha (aka the uji) but I wanted to switch it up and went for the nishio in a hot cortado format. It was indeed very creamy and floral. I also got to try the yame matcha latte with oat milk. The yame itself is advertised to be more nutty and the oat milk definitely amplified it. Both drinks had really well mixed matchas with a good milk ratio respectively. While I would give their matcha and location a 5, I dropped it to 4 for this particular location due to their service. I'm not sure what didn't click but we had so much trouble trying to order the usucha matcha. We tried the name usucha twice and even tried alternative names like the short serving. She said a bunch of things but didn't really explain if it wasn't available or had other recommendations. We gave up and went for the yame matcha instead. I would definitely be sure to get the miso salmon next time I'm here. The place was very cute with nice little tables for individuals. The place was very cozy with lots of sunlight coming in. Very modern with plants all around. It was so loud with people talking over each other. There were too many people on a Sunday afternoon so I had to walk around or cut through people to get my way. It was that crowded. I also didn't expect this place to be on the second floor and the stairs to be that steep. It was hectic carrying my stroller upstairs. Luckily someone helped me get down!
