I walked up to this spot and felt my shakras align babes. If you check it out you'll know exactly what I mean. They have a ton of options on the menu to choose from and everything is Brooklyn inspired. I couldn't decide and ordered 2 beverages for myself. It felt like I was walking up to an Erykah Badu concert. A little bell to signal you are at the window to order but there are also goods for purchase inside as well as cafe options, fresh juice and smoothies. I will definitely go back. I can't describe the vibe of this spot other than calm, sage and evil spirits be gone. (Insert Erykah lyric)

I checked this place out on Friday and it's enchanting. It's a vegan cafe that feels similar to a living room abc back yard. There are many interesting books on culture and health placed around if one needs anything to read. I ordered a smoothie and a vegan cookie. My smoothie had mango pineapple and sea moss. I may come back in the near future. It is the perfect place to read or study. The service is pretty quick although there was one service

I didn't take a picture of my food because I quite literally inhaled it. Everything was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was incredible. And the service was fantastic. What a welcoming and wholesome environment! Usually it feels like you get one or the other but as soon as my food came out, I was beyond surprised. It was so flavorful and delicious. Everything about this place is amazing. I can't recommend it enough

Who knew? Not just great coffee, fresh delicious juice and fantastic service; the delicious looking Chickpea Stew Is also gluten free!?!!! WIN! I was in rush, so didn't stay even with the inviting seating and canopy; but my food was so hot and well packaged that I got home and my dinner was just as fresh, hot and delicious as I could ever want. Once again, Joy delivers

So yes I came back on Earth Day to get some more of that aromatic, warm, and tasty Hibiscus Tea. Again it looked like a small intimate gathering of friends. Everyone said hello. She remembered me, she took my order, the tea was awesome, Apple Pay machine was working, and those wind chimes were humming. I took a seat and sipped my Tea. Great afternoon...great atmosphere...almost sixty degrees...I could get used to this!

Loved the atmosphere of the quint shop. Woman behind counter was very pleasant. I had the vegan chop cheese wrap and a side salad and a coffee. The vegan chop cheese was absolutely delicious and the salad complimented it well. When in the area I shall return.

All I can say is wow! This place is really low-key but the flavors are high-key lol. I came here to redeem a voucher I received from Yelp, for a free spiced coffee and 2 cookies. I also ordered the vegan curry chicken sandwich and a ginger shot. The sandwich literally blew my mind with how good it was. & the salad that came on the side was so fresh and came with sliced strawberries and pears. I loved that the salad wasn't drenched in dressing. No indoor seating so I sat outside, got some work done on my laptop and said my goodbyes to the great staff. This place is Black-owned which is my favorite part. Many areas and restaurants in Brooklyn are now places that I don't feel welcomed or taken care of as a Black person so my experience here meant a lot to me.

This is theeeee perfect place for lunch! The vegan chickpea sandwich was so satisfying and the sunshine juice was refreshing on a hot day. Definitely will be back to try their extensive coffee and tea menu!

I'm giving this a food a five star because even though it was a little wait for my food, it was the best breakfast burrito. I've had loved it. The seasoning was good, the salad was good. Very delicious! The smoothie was good but a little watery. This was my first visit. I will be going back.

I had a lovely spicy hibiscus tea here that I'm totally still thinking about and would be excited to go have again. The actual store is soooo cute - I love the decorations and wide variety of offerings in the store, from clothing to decor and products like incense. The service is super friendly, and the vibe is amazing. They were playing Nigerian music and I love so much when I go into a place playing anything but the American music I already hear over an over. I even shazamed the song so I could listen to it again later. I'm certainly looking forward to coming back.

This is one of my favorite local cafes. They have a wonderful vibe and aura, full of fairy-like decor, vegan friendly items, and just lovely aesthetics. It's an outdoor cafe but they have benches and tables for you to sit at! I ordered the: Lavender Latte -- this was magical! they don't shy away from the lavender syrup which i appreciated. it was an interesting blend with coffee but i very much enjoyed it. they put pieces of mini floral petals and lavender leaves on top, which a cute touch. Pistacho Cookies-- Yum! can't even believe it's vegan. it's like shortbread, which i love, and the texture is crunch and melts in your mouth. Can't really taste the pistachio much but it was still really good :) Overall, i love this place. it's a place where you go on a nice sunny day and bring a book to read. It calms me down and everyone is really sweet. The place is decorated with a vine of flowers and beautiful nature touches. Check it out!

The vegan curry chicken sandwich is delightful-- peppery and fresh in a way that made me forget it wasn't real chicken (a big plus in my book). I got a different tea than the one I ordered, but the one I did get was great, so I didn't really mind. They were also out of both specials, but the atmosphere and tastiness of the food made up for all of it. The outdoor tables were small, but pleasant. Definitely will be back!

Vegan cafe with yummy smoothies and drinks, and good vibes with an awesome soca/afrobeat playlist. Handful of tables to enjoy on a sunny day. Tried the bloom smoothie with espresso, banana and peanut butter but was a bit disappointed it had more of a bitter taste. Got a coconut milk based coffee that we enjoyed.

There is some counter space, but mainly for standing purposes. I ordered a standard Iced Matcha Latte with Oat Milk ($7.35) and my friend got her usual Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte ($8). Docking 1/2 point bc the matcha is pre-made. I'm a fan of the whisking process bc I do believe there's a craft to matcha overall. Surprisingly, my drink tasted fine and my bev was a good color, so I was pleasantly happy. We waited less than 10 min for a table to open up, but you have to be there at the right time, otherwise you prob just grab your drink + go. Overall, glad I tried Kijitora. It's not my first matcha choice, but it was decent for a standard matcha latte. Their specialty matcha drinks look to have mixed reviews, but I'm personally not a fan of sweet drinks.

The tote bags were so cute but they were kind of pricey in my opinion. A standard beige Kijitora bag was priced for $30 each! They had several designs for sale. I was just busy checking out the cool cat merchandise while I was waiting in the long line to purchase the matcha drinks. The line was exceptionally long! It was worth the hype though! When I was my turn, I got an iced strawberry matcha latte and an iced mango matcha latte. It was so pretty when I got them. The mango and strawberry paste were sitting at the bottom of the matcha latte. I had to stir and mix the fruits with the whole drink. Surprisingly it was not sweet at all and was just right! They made it in a way that wanted you to crave more of it. It was very addicting. I did not get onigiris this time but will be sure to get some next time I'm here. They were just $4 each for miso salmon, tuna mayo, mentaiko cod roe, sukiyaki beef, and chashu pork. What a decent price for one onigiri! I would definitely be sure to get the miso salmon next time I'm here. The place was very cute with nice little tables for individuals. The place was very cozy with lots of sunlight coming in. Very modern with plants all around. It was so loud with people talking over each other. There were too many people on a Sunday afternoon so I had to walk around or cut through people to get my way. It was that crowded. I also didn't expect this place to be on the second floor and the stairs to be that steep. It was hectic carrying my stroller upstairs. Luckily someone helped me get down! The stairs are very narrow so I had to hold onto the rail. It was not ergonomically friendly at all.

I was a little disappointed to see that their food menu was quite limited, and by that time of day, there was really only one savory option that stood out to me, the Parmesan and leek pastry. I ordered this and had the barista heated up for me, as well as print out a receipt because this is how you access the Wi-Fi. I sat in the corner along the wall on a wooden bench and attempted to do work on one of the small metal tables. The tables are quite low, so this really isn't a great place to get a ton of work done in my opinion, as well as the fact that the Wi-Fi only works for 30 minutes and after that, you need to go back up and get another receipt for a code. I was also a little disappointed in the pastry itself, as it wasn't fully heated and was a little too greasy for me. I can't speak on the coffee here, but it did look like they provide high-quality options. Vibes and aesthetic are high but I can't say I'd come here again.

The cafes, coffee bars and eateries who recognize the need to connect are the real entrepreneurs. Polly's Cafe patrons are sipping coffee drinks made with La Colombe and devouring Balthazar pastries. As I waited to order my cold brew, the conversations ran the gamut from school, work, summer travel plans, catching up. It is unwinding, savoring each sip and bite with a friend or partner and just enjoying the connection. Polly's Cafe reminds me of a cafe one would find in the Hudson Valley: small, quaint and offering high end food. The interior is cozy, a few tables and a backyard garden. The menu packs a small punch: hot/cold beverages, breakfast burritos, BLT, salads and so much more. I waited around 10 minutes to order a cold brew, the pastries (croissants: chocolate, everything, goat cheese and herb, ham and cheese, butter, sticky toffee banana bread, chocolate babka crumb cake, brownies)were sold out and only olive oil cake remained. My friend could not finish it, so I asked for a replacement shot--the Expresso Shot 2--and the staff were kind enough to offer it to us free of charge. This shot was also just as sour, with notes of passion fruit. There are no other espresso shot options, and both shots are $5-6 each. The Chai Latte tasted just like the concentrates I would get from supermarkets. When I finished my cup and peered at the bottom for any spice residue, I found the grainy texture you'd find in said supermarket concentrates.
