    Grande Nachos

I've ordered delivery from them several times and it was my first time visiting one of their physical locations. The Williamsburg restaurant has many seatings available so was good for our big group. Everything was delicious and I enjoyed them all! Nachos were a bit saucy but still yummy. Tacos were great and my favorite was the crispy pescado - the smoky flavor caught me off guard, but I liked how hot and juicy it was!

Very tasty fully vegan food! I was impressed. Even the vegan cheese was good. Ambiance and interior decor was beautiful, I loved it. Service was standard - no complaints!

This is delicious. Shitake bacon. Umami.

The food is amazing the drinks ate strong If you don't like vegetarian, come here your mind will be changed for the better.

This place was good! To start off I got the michenada (NA beer) it tasted amazing!!! I'm not one to usually get NA but it tasted just like a good miche would. The service was fast and very kind! They kept checking up on us. We got guac and chips for the table and that was very yummy. I wish there was more veggies & chips included though. I got birria tacos for my main dish and they were delicious! We came here as we were craving good tacos but my friend is vegetarian and we decided to check this place out. Overall I think the birria was good but needed a little more salt or salsa. Would have to be one of the best vegan spots I have been to though! Inside the decor was very pretty as well, cute decor & cute lighting!

Beet & Pumpkin Empanadas. Good filling. Outside texture a bit unappealing

Note-Full review here with more descriptions as out of room https://textdoc.co/7uB1PC62qUpGy0ft I went to this Mexican place with a group of others months ago as per most of my other recent reviews. As can also be told from those reviews, I'm not vegan or vegetarian but the food here was tasty. I would say that some dishes worked better than others but it was overall a good place and I would possibly stop by their other locations as I know I passed by one on the Chinatown border and I think there's one other. The inside is nice and the place got pretty crowded but the volume stayed pretty low. I remember the bathroom being excessively bright compared to many other places I think from neon or something which was a bit different. They gave us three salsas/hot sauces including a habanero, fermented serrano, and salsa negra with my favorite being the serrano and then the habanero but the negra wasn't too shabby. To drink, I had the Pineapple y Mezcal with mezcal, cilantro, chile de árbol, and lime. This was a pretty tasty cocktail with the smokiness from the mezcal pairing nicely with the light sweetness/sourness of the pineapple and lime along with the bit of spice from the chili. The drink had a chili/tajin rim which went with it as well. As I was waiting a bit, I also tried the esquites. I prefer esquites over the cobb version elote pretty heavily and this version was alright. I think the almond parmesan by comparison lacked a bit of the creaminess of the usual dish but the saltiness was there and it definitely could have been a good amount spicier. We received soon one of the best dishes at least to share which were the Nachos. The portion size was big and the toppings were spread nicely so they weren't that many chips that lacked flavoring. The fake chorizo had surprisingly good flavoring though it was less smokey than the meat version but that is probably to be expected and overall we all enjoyed it. Also received early were the Hongos Quesadilla. The filling was solid as I've always been a fan of corn fungus/huitlacoche and it had good spice with a bit of sweetness from the corn. The best part of it was actually the fake cheese. I usually hate fake cheese and find either the texture or flavor to be terrible and this was surprisingly close. The only bad thing about the quesadilla was ironically the quesadilla itself which didn't have too good of a texture being closer to the less good Tex-Mex spot but It is hard for me to find most quesadillas enjoyable as my local Mexican antojitos cart specializes in quesadillas. The last two things we received early, the Queso Fundido and the Beet & Pumpkin Empanadas were both just alright. For the former, said fake cheese worked a bit less here as it was more noticeable that it was fake as it did not melt as well but at least the portion was decent with plenty of chips. The empanada was a bit thick so the flavors got a bit lost and it was a bit too sweet overall for me. For the enchiladas, the Enchiladas Mole was very tasty and the better of the two. The mole had a good mix between a little bit of sweetness, a little bit of smokiness, and a little bit of bitterness from the cacao. The spices could have been a bit stronger but it was overall a good mole and honestly better than many of the Mexican spots in the city. Fake chicken tends to be pretty similar especially when shredded and if I was going to pick a dish and completely forget I was eating vegan Mexican food, I'd probably order this one. The Enchiladas Verde was also solid. Nice little bit of sourness and bitterness from the verde sauce and carnitas are a very common substitute for pulled pork for a good reason. For the tacos, the Buffalo Flower Tacos was very tasty. It was a bit pricey but the cauliflower had an excellent texture and the fried texture along with the lightly sweet and spicy sauce reminded me of Gobi Manchurian from those Indo-Chinese spots. The Crispy Pescado didn't exactly remind me of fish in anyway (fish is one of the few things that I think there really aren't any vegan/veggie substitutes as it can't match the butteriness or texture) but the flavor was solid with the pickled onions being a nice touch (wouldn't have minded those on the cauliflower also.) For the two bowls, better of the group was the Turmeric Cauliflower Bowl. It didn't exactly remind me much of Mexican food outside of the cilantro and black beans having almost a middle eastern flair thanks to the chermoula and turmeric but it was pretty tasty. The cauliflower was well spiced. My least favorite thing by a mile during the meal was the Dinosaur Kale Salad but this was definitely to be expected. I've never been a huge fan of avocado, I honestly don't like quinoa much, and I hate kale. I liked the sweeter vegetables of course but there were too many ingredients that I just didn't like so this was more me than the bowl. The dressing also just wasn't too tasty. Out of room. Mid 3 and better than expected.

MMMMMMMMMmmmmMMMMM. I hadn't had tacos in over a month due to being on fellowship in Uganda. I was dying for birria tacos. This restaurant had excellent reviews, and was close to the hotel that we were staying at. The food will have you dancing a happy dance! They start with brining you a bottle of water infused with sprigs of mint (I drank the entire bottle lol). It was refreshing, and kissed with just enough of a mint flavor. We started with nachos, to meld the husbands desire for guacamole with my desire for queso. They were bomb. Layered with toppings throughout the pile of chips, we were able to get a little bit of everything with each bite. I had the birria which were perfectly gooey and crispy. He had a barbacoa bowl. The food was amazing. The only flaw was that our server evidently went home, without passing us off to anyone. It was a little annoying to have to hunt someone down after otherwise impeccable service.

If you're looking for great tasting vegan food, this is the spot! I recently came for brunch and I was surprised at how beautiful the restaurant looked. The colors worked well together which fed to the chill atmosphere. My friend and I started with nachos appetizer. It was amazing, we finished the whole plate. I went with Pollo Coco tacos which were absolutely delicious. I also opted for a Cafe Martini, it was good but I tasted more alcohol than coffee. Service was good, super attentive staff - coming around making sure you had water and cleaning up the plates very quickly. I would definitely check it out if you're in the area! PS - I drove here and parking was horrible. There were plenty of parking places.

Great vegan cuisine--their three dips are amazing, especially their cheese. Loved the two cocktails I ordered, and given their extensive Mezcal list, I know I'll be back for more. Wonderful service, servers and manager were so kind and accommodating! And don't forget to order dessert.

Loved everything we tried!! Absolutely going back again. Still dreaming of having that street corn :D

I came here one Friday afternoon. It wasn't busy and since I was alone decided to sit at the lovely bar. The bartender was nice and made a delicious plum y mezcal! I ordered the Chorizo tacos 2per order. However, you could get a 3rd for additional $4. The tacos were tasty but for $6 each a bit over priced for the size. However, there are other things on the menu that looks fantastic, so I will be back to try.

SO GOOD! I believe they used chunk steak for the meat. It was very delicious. Me and my friend shared it together. The service was quick and the vibe is great!

4.5, rounding to 5. Honestly, this is probably the best vegan place I've had. And I love meat. The portions are super large. I got the chicken burrito, which if you didn't tell me was vegan I would have believed it. The Tacos Tazon bowl is also massive, you won't leave hungry for sure. I really like the dim lighting inside -- there are some hip hanging lights and light wood all around the restaurant. My only qualm is that the music is REALLY loud (but could be good for a night out, lots of Bad Bunny).

Ambiance: This place has a nice ambiance, definitely very "New York" -- dark (you can't see how dirty the floor is) and loud music (maybe too loud). We sat upstairs (we had a reservation) and of all the people on the top there was a party of 4 (us), a party of 8 (all dudes celebrating something) and the rest of the tables were on a DATE - which I thought was funny. Service: We were served by Ann-Marie who was so delightful. She was kind, super nice, and took the time to speak to us (which is basically how we figured out she wasn't a native New York City person). She gave us good food suggestions and we were very happy with our selection. Food: Here is what we ordered * Steak Frites: My two boys got the steak frites and I have to say the steak was awesome! I had a bite of each of theirs and they each ordered it differently (one Medium Rare/Medium and one Medium) and they both were prepared PERFECTLY. The fries were overflowing. * Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife got the salad with Salmon (they only have a few salad options) and she enjoyed it. * Prawn and Crab Risotto: I got this and I have to say it was VERY bland. I wouldn't get this if you are looking for taste. I had to put salt and pepper on it to make it have any semblance of taste. Value/Price: I would say this is not over priced but it is not cheap either...bill is attached. I would recommend it to folks who are looking for a good place to either go out on a date or a family type meal.
