Ive been meaning to try this place for the past 2 years so I was excited to finally eat there. It's a corner store on a busy road so gets a lot of foot traffic and its within walking distance to Barclays. Takeout review Price: $$ (burgers are $19-22) but its comes with seasoned fries (more on that below) and the burgers are HUGE Store: few seats in the back, otherwise takeout mostlly. they call you a "slut" upon entering and leaving (it's entertaining). Food: - Dancehall Burger- sounded interesting but the maduros were a miss. would have been better with avocado and bacon. the slut sauce made this burger. onions were grilled but not caramelized. overall it was a solid burger. - Hollywood Hooker: massive but kind of bland? the texture was spot on for a philly chopped sandwich. but no slut sauce :( get the burger - eggrolls: philly cheesesteak egg roll. it was popular. Solid choice. i couldnt tell it wasnt beef. i added sweet chilli sauce to it which added some spice. - Fries: one batch was hot, crunch, perfectly cooked and had great seasonings. the other batch was soggy and was likely sitting out. if you get the fries fresh its worth it. Service: - Order on kiosks - Trainwreck. online order and suprised when it was ready within 4 minutes. Within 20 minutes I was in the store. 3 people + 2 food delivery drivers waiting. 2 workers - one was cooking while the other disappeared to get supplies / take out the trash. 10 minutes go by- no one gets food. 15 minutes. 1 delivery driver gets food. more people enter - delivery drivers + customers. Only 1 was greeted and told it would be a wait. 20 minutes. no food. The second workers comes back and helps with orders. finally 3 orders come out for in person orders only. 30 minutes, I ask for an update. 5 mintues later I get my food. total time was around 50 minutes not 4 minutes. I would recommend trying it for a good vegan burger and if you have an hour to wait. if you need a quick order or are rushing to catch a concert, show, or game at Barclays I would avoid. I haven't gone to a vegan spot in a long time and this place really drew me in with its name. I really love all of the names of everything. Glad I gave it a try because it is actually so good! Everything made to order so it took a bit but it was worth it. I definitely recommend this spot and look forward to going back.
After a long day of a few events (Sneakercon and Spike Lee's block party) we. And where for something small. I actually wanted a grilled cheese but I discovered they did not have that. As we entered the store, I noticed the employees would scream something out. I didn't quite detect what was being said, but that became the theme for the 20 or 25 minutes that we were inside. It's very loud as far the shouting when people enter, but even when they call out your name for your order or to ask you a question about your order. I ordered some fries and their banana pudding. The fries were good and so was the banana pudding, which was relatively small. I would say I had a decent first experience here but I'd probably order and stand outside next time around.
I was here with my friend for lunch on Saturday. I had the One Night Stand burger with fries. It was great, it tastes delicious with no weird aftertaste. You wouldn't have guessed it was vegan lol. The lady behind the counter was really friendly and the ambiance was nice. Just wish there was more seating inside

The Hollywood hooker was alright, the bread was kind of dry but the filling itself was good. The bacon on the one night stand was dynamite and probably the best part of the burger. The hooker fries were pretty tasty. Fyi, all main items (burgers/sandwiches) come with a side of fries. A bit pricey for what it is but it's cool to go least once and experience it. The woman who was working is super impressive and hardworking. There is only a small, kind of awkward space in the back to dine-in. There also is a bathroom for customers.
As a non-vegan who loves plant-based alternatives, I've been wanting to stop by for quite some time. The space inside was small but had some seating. Service wise, it took a little for my food, but there was no line. Don't expect a McDonald's fast turnaround, food is made to order but oh so good! Got the "Hooker Fries", which were delicious and sloppy. Lots of lettuce and veg on top of hot fries, delicious vegan cheese and vegan meat. Flavor wasn't sacrificed one bit! I do wish they served tray style for those wishes to eat there. Several other little things I wasn't a huge fan of (menu clicks by on a screen, hard to pin down what's available), overall I think this would hit the spot as a late night vegan "fast food" option. I'd go back if I had a vegan friend who wanted to try, but likely not as a first choice option.

The moment you walk in you'll a smile on your face because someone will yell something like "we got a slut in the house," it's hilarious. The food was insanely fake meaty, more than most places, you really have to be into that taste to like it- luckily I do! But a vegan food newbie may be a little confused/may not like it. The inside is very very small, the "seating" is 4 tables in a tiny corner and you're squished on top of each other. The decor otherwise is cute, just small!
My friend came here to get some spices she puts on her eggs so I came along for the ride. We were greater with "hey sluts" or whatever colorful phrases they say when you walk in lol. The servers were great and enthusiastic. I can't speak on the food because I didn't have any. I got some merch and I was pleasantly surprised with the prices. Was $20 and $25 for a hoodie and Xmas sweater. I like this place. I'll have to try some of the food next time. Located in a popular area in Brooklyn and it is black owned. I'd check it out again.

I ordered the One Night Stand and got a side of Slutty Fries with it. It is a plant-based patty loaded with vegan bacon and vegan cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, and slut sauce on a vegan Hawaiian bun. It was freshly made to order. I waited outside for about 20 minutes before it was ready. It was tasty and delicious, and the fries were marvelous. There is a host that greets and entertains customers as soon as they walk in the door. She called me a Slut and asked if I was a virgin vegan, and I said yes because I have never eaten at a vegan fast food joint before. She also asked me my name and where I grew up. She made me feel like a celebrity. The Slutty Vegan is the place to go to impress somebody. I highly recommend it for date day or night because of the entertaining host, fun decor and awesome vegan food.
I was so excited to try this place given their bold, provocative branding and mouthwatering menu. I went to their Fulton Avenue location in Brooklyn. Note that this restaurant is grab and go only. There is zero seating. If you are ordering inside, you form a line against the wall. If you are picking up, you go to the sidewalk window and wait outside. It is very tight and narrow inside the restaurant. On a Saturday around 7pm, it was packed. The line just to order was about a fifteen minute wait. I ended up ordering pickup on their website while I was waiting in line at the restaurant. They have very comprehensive customization options on the menu. The pick up order said it would take 30 minutes to be prepared but there was no other order tracking. They also do not text or email you when your order is ready, so it's not very convenient. Unfortunately, they messed up my order and didn't give me one of my sandwiches so I had to go back, which was super frustrating. When I did get it corrected, they threw in extra fries which was a nice touch. I saw that they gave someone else a free refill because his order was also delayed so I guess they weren't having a great night, but they tried to make up for it with good service. I will say, the man working at the pickup counter was very apologetic and personable. As for the food itself, it was just okay. I got the One Night Stand burger with jalapeños added. I expected the burger to be loaded with toppings but there wasn't much. The bacon had okay texture. It was chewy but didn't have much flavor. I expected the slut sauce to pack a bold punch but it was also very subtle in terms of flavor. The burger patty was pretty juicy but nothing special. I did enjoy the fries which were crinkle cut and crispy. They were sprinkled with fry dust seasoning which was tasty but didn't overwhelm the fries. You can also order the fries without the seasoning if you prefer. I tried the fried pickles as well. They were a pretty good portion size and I enjoyed them. The blackberry mayo was very novel. It was sweet and creamy and paired well with the pickles and regular fries. Their lemonade was refreshing but on the sweeter side and had too much ice. Overall, I am still up for visiting again and trying the chicken sandwich and the Philly cheesecake-style option, but this first trip was a bit disappointing.

Omfg!!!!! I have been dying to come to this place and I was not disappointed at all.. first of all the lady that was working on 8/15/26, you are amazing and I wish I got your name.. she was so Welcoming.i had the one night stand and it was so Damn good!! My boyfriend who is not vegan had the Hollywood hooked and he loved it. We also had the egg roll which was nice and crispy I cannot wait to go back.. read more

So I went to Slutty Vegan because I saw the owner Pinky on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, & I figured I would try it and support her. Parking is a challenge, but it is in Brooklyn. The store is small and cute as well as the restroom. I called to place my order because apparently people said they take a long time, but they would not take my order over the phone, only at the kiosk when I arrived. There were two kiosks for you to order your food and pay for it online, pretty easy. Took maybe 20 minutes, cook to order is preferable. I ordered the Fussy Hussy cheeseburger which had lettuce, tomato, sparse thin caramelized onions, pickles, and cheese on a vegan burger, I got the slutty sauce on the side because I did not know what to expect, & I'm glad I did that. I forgot to order my fries without salt, but it was a chance I took and regretted. My commute was 1.5 hours back to Long Island. No big deal as I'm used to deconstructing burgers especially, to toast the bun. The bun looked like something I would've gotten out of a cafeteria school lunch as you can see from the photo. The burger was Impossible similarly branded, I'm assuming, and the toppings looked fresh. But everything was edible and did not look dried out. The french fries seemed like they were just regular crinkle cut fries with tons of seasoning on top, unfortunately to where they were so inedibly salty which made it difficult to enjoy. FYI: there's probably so much seasoning in the collection tray that you don't have to keep adding it whenever you make a new batch. I was able to salvage at least 15 fries out of about the generous amount of 70, lol, and they look like they weren't seasoned too much, I dipped them in the slutty sauce which made it worse. I disposed of the fries and the sauce. Overall, Slutty Vegan was OK, definitely not worth $25 for a meal including a tip, never mind the distance. So when I want a burger, I'll just go to Burger King for an Impossible Whopper and have it my way. read more

The hype is real, y'all. Finally got a chance to try Slutty Vegan and the flavors are as loud and brash as the storefront. When I stepped in to pick up my order, I was greeted as a slut by the whole kitchen staff. (Like #truth, I am a slut for vegan food.) They do this whole scripted, call-and-response thing, sorta like the "Ohayō gozaimasu" that some Japanese restaurants do. You don't even have to be in the store. They noticed someone returning to pick up their order through the window, and the lead said something and the rest of the staff responded. I didn't catch it all because truth be told, I was a little overwhelmed. Even if Slutty Vegan's schtick is not your thing, you can't deny how tasty their food is. The menu is largely built around their plant-based patty with slut sauce, caramelized onions, lettuce, and tomato on a Hawaiian bun. The different menu options essentially make you choose which one special ingredient to add: bacon, jalapeños, plantains, or pickles. I got the Dancehall Queen, the one with plantains, cuz if I'm a slut for vegan, I'm a whore for sweet jerk plantains. Nomz. It also came with fries, crinkle-cut to maximize the surface area for that Slutty dust seasoning goodness. Oh so satisfying. Definitely worth the return to try their other options. read more

The decor is cool. The design of the place is cool. The idea behind it is great. I was not prepared for all the slutty insults being hurled as I walked through the door, but it made me laugh. Service was ok food was hot. I did not enjoy the food I bought though didn't feel like it was worth the price, I've had a lot better vegan burgers. read more

Awesome staff love the shout out when you walk in! Our first stop during our NYC vacation was SluttyVegan for the Hooker fries, banana pudding and a brownie for thr road. The vibe here is chill even with the small seating area the food more than makes up for it and there is a litter park catacorner to the restaurant so you sit there if you need longer to eat. read more

I have been meaning to try this place and I had it yesterday and I NEED to talk about it. My Co-workers and I had it delivered via Seamless and everything was packaged properly with no spillage. The orders were separated and they read my food notes about having my fries on the side (I'm not a French fry eater). I had the Sloppy Toppy, and when I first bit into it I was confused. It tastes like an actual burger! I had to do a double-take. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Then I ordered the "slut sauce" & ohhhhh it was a GAME changer adding extra (I didn't know there was some on already). My Co-worker had the Hollywood hooker and explained that it was delicious as well and loved that she didn't want to crash after eating normal Philly cheese steaks. I can't wait to head in person and order because this delivery experience was great! read more

I love a vegan burger and this one doesn't mess a beat. It's flavorful, juicy and messy; just what I like in a burger. Definitely great for a cheat meal or treat. However, I didn't like the seasoning on the fries; it was too salty and tasted like the seasoning in the ramen noodle packet. Other than that, I would recommend. read more

I have been wanting to try slutty vegan for a long time and I finally got the chance when I went to go visit my friend in New York. I had one of their burgers and fries and it was very tasty! I wish this chain was in Florida. It's very hard to find a burger place that offers good vegan cheese. read more

I've been meaning to visit Slutty Vegan for a while, especially since I heard glowing reviews about how delicious their burgers are and we love to see and support a Black woman-owned business. I came on a Tuesday afternoon and saw a short line outside. It is a take-out only joint on the corner of Fulton and South Portland, where Not Ray's used to be. I ordered the Sloppy Toppy ($15.99) which comes with fries and made my way over to Fort Greene Park. I really wanted to love it, but unfortunately, the burgers are simply not my cup of tea. The Hawaiian bun adds unnecessary sweetness and the slut sauce doesn't give me the punch of flavor I'm looking for. The vegan cheese was excellent but the lettuce and tomatoes tasted anemic. The fries were sprinkled with Slut Dust, which I thought was pretty good. Plenty of salt, garlic, and paprika flavor-- lots of umami to keep you reaching for the next crinkle cut fry. I'll round Slutty Vegan up an extra star because the staff is really nice and it's an enjoyable experience from all the singing to the dancing to the general sluttery. I also love that they have a list of ingredients/allergens in their food if you ask to see it. As someone with a tree nut allergy, vegan places can be a little tricky to navigate sometimes. read more
Oof I wanted to love this place but I kind of hated the vegan burger Patty the restaurant uses. It tasted like a microwaved Boca burger. And I'm someone who thinks a grilled or toasted Boca burger tastes ok. Service is a blast. I do love that they call you "virgin" and/or "queen." Energy is perfect. Ambiance from the outside is cool. Finally made it here after hearing about this place since they started in ATL. I love the greeting when you walk in. The fries are phenomenal!! Whatever slut dust is...its delicious I also tried the One Night Stand and loved it. I am not vegan but enjoyed this version of a "bacon cheeseburger" very much. I will definitely get take out from them again next time I am in Brooklyn (or Harlem). read more
Drove to Slutty vegan from Long Island and it was worth the trip. This was my first time trying vegan food and I wasn't disappointed the only thing that I would say is that I wish the burgers were a lot more jam packed like they look on the website; they weren't as full as I would like but the taste was amazing definitely will try again. 8/10 read more
I finally made it here!!! I went to the Brooklyn, NY location on a Saturday afternoon with a good friend. This location is fairly new and just recently opened in September 2022. Of course, if you know about Slutty Vegan, you know it's very popular. All I saw shortly after the grand opening were lines, lines, and more lines. I definitely wanted to go, but wanted to go after the hype died down a little bit. Well, not the hype, because that's always been there, but the crowds and lines due to the recent opening in NY. Upon walking in they greet you the Slutty Vegan way, and may I say that their greeting is second to none! Everyone who enters is a slut and best believe it's all said with love and enthusiasm. It is definitely felt. Oh and if it's your first time there, you'll be shouted out big time as a virgin!!! I loved that experience. Olivia made sure to take care of us and make us feel welcomed, Hi Olivia!! I had the Sloppy Toppy, and the Hooker Fries and to drink I had a mix (Arnold Palmer). Not on the menu, but I asked them to mix the Sweet Iced Tea and Lemonade. My friend had the One Night Stand which came with standard fries, and comprised of vegan bacon, vegan cheese, onions, lettuce, tomato, and their signature Slut Sauce on a vegan Hawaiian bun. The Sloppy Toppy is made with their delicious signature Slut Sauce, jalapeños, vegan cheese, onions, lettuce, tomato, all on a vegan Hawaiian bun. All burger meals come with fries, but my greedy ass wanted to try the loaded Hooker fries which had beef, cheese, jalapenos, onions, lettuce, and diced tomatoes atop a bed of crinkle cut fries....just the works! Everything was messy, but goooood. I want to go back to try some of their other menu items, like the Dancehall Queen and Project Chik. I went for the grand opening and have not been back since due to long lines. I will say that the food is delicious and it's definitely worth the hype!! The burgers were juicy, flavorful and delicious. To be honest it was better than a beef burger which makes me think whats in the ingredients if its better than meat. Nevertheless I would definitely go back again and I would love to try the banana pudding. The staff was very kind and helpful. If you haven't been, I would definitely recommend going and trying one of the burgers for yourself. I read a few reviews that noted the prices were too high, however, I think that its fair an reasonable considering the mystery meat at McDonalds is 13 -15 for a combo meal! read more
OK people we're gonna have a conversation. I. I usually eat vegan or vegetarian food a few days out of the week and honestly, I prefer to cook it myself. Until today. My cousin swears by them so I knew I had to check it out. I joined the line about 11 AM and it was pure energy from start until the time I left. It's a full-blown block party with so much excitement the wait wasn't so bad. I ended up trying the fruit punch, and the One Night Stand and it came with fries w/ slutty dust. I finally tried Slutty Vegan around the time they opened in Brooklyn. It was very loud lol. I ordered a burger and fries. I was bit annoyed that the cashier tried to upsell me on their chili. I came in for a burger and fries; he asked me if I wanted to TRY the chili (I was thinking that they were offering samples to entice customers to buy it especially because they were newly opened) then proceeded to try to charge me for it. Nevertheless, I had the burger and fries and it was good. It was difficult to determine where to eat it because it was the winter and they had nowhere to eat or even a place to stand and eat. I feel like I would definitely go again but I wouldn't go out of my way to seek it out, and I would go only if I have a plan on where I will eat it after buying it. read more
