    After a long day of a few events (Sneakercon and Spike Lee's block party) we. And where for something small. I actually wanted a grilled cheese but I discovered they did not have that. As we entered the store, I noticed the employees would scream something out. I didn't quite detect what was being said, but that became the theme for the 20 or 25 minutes that we were inside. It's very loud as far the shouting when people enter, but even when they call out your name for your order or to ask you a question about your order. I ordered some fries and their banana pudding. The fries were good and so was the banana pudding, which was relatively small. I would say I had a decent first experience here but I'd probably order and stand outside next time around.

    I was here with my friend for lunch on Saturday. I had the One Night Stand burger with fries. It was great, it tastes delicious with no weird aftertaste. You wouldn't have guessed it was vegan lol. The lady behind the counter was really friendly and the ambiance was nice. Just wish there was more seating inside

    First time going to Slutty Vegan after hearing about it for so long. Items ordered were a one night stand, Hollywood hooker, hooker fries and banana pudding. The Hollywood hooker was alright, the bread was kind of dry but the filling itself was good. The bacon on the one night stand was dynamite and probably the best part of the burger. The hooker fries were pretty tasty. Fyi, all main items (burgers/sandwiches) come with a side of fries. A bit pricey for what it is but it's cool to go least once and experience it. The woman who was working is super impressive and hardworking. There is only a small, kind of awkward space in the back to dine-in. There also is a bathroom for customers.

    Great fast-food spot for vegans ! Their food is really good for a fast-food joint ! This specific location is quite small on seating so this is more of a grab-and-go-home vibe. The service was quick from the front. You order on a touch screen and they greet you like the slut you are (;

    The moment you walk in you'll a smile on your face because someone will yell something like "we got a slut in the house," it's hilarious. The food was insanely fake meaty, more than most places, you really have to be into that taste to like it- luckily I do! But a vegan food newbie may be a little confused/may not like it. The inside is very very small, the "seating" is 4 tables in a tiny corner and you're squished on top of each other. The decor otherwise is cute, just small!

    My friend came here to get some spices she puts on her eggs so I came along for the ride. We were greater with "hey sluts" or whatever colorful phrases they say when you walk in lol. The servers were great and enthusiastic. I can't speak on the food because I didn't have any. I got some merch and I was pleasantly surprised with the prices. Was $20 and $25 for a hoodie and Xmas sweater. I like this place. I'll have to try some of the food next time. Located in a popular area in Brooklyn and it is black owned. I'd check it out again.

    As a non-vegan who loves plant-based alternatives, I've been wanting to stop by for quite some time. The space inside was small but had some seating. Service wise, it took a little for my food, but there was no line. Don't expect a McDonald's fast turnaround, food is made to order but oh so good! Got the "Hooker Fries", which were delicious and sloppy. Lots of lettuce and veg on top of hot fries, delicious vegan cheese and vegan meat. Flavor wasn't sacrificed one bit! I do wish they served tray style for those wishes to eat there. Several other little things I wasn't a huge fan of (menu clicks by on a screen, hard to pin down what's available), overall I think this would hit the spot as a late night vegan "fast food" option. I'd go back if I had a vegan friend who wanted to try, but likely not as a first choice option.

    Slutty Vegan is from Atlanta and started out as a small business that has now grown with two locations in NYC. I come to this one often when visiting family here. Loved that woman owned small business from ATL is rocking it in BKLYN!

    Pros Friendly staff. Food came out fast. Fries come with most burgers. Location is nice, near Barclay Center. Good music. I would try again. Cons Pricey. Limited seating (five seats). No parking. Fast food vibes. I don't believe there's a bathroom for customers.

    I ordered the One Night Stand and got a side of Slutty Fries with it. It is a plant-based patty loaded with vegan bacon and vegan cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, and slut sauce on a vegan Hawaiian bun. It was freshly made to order. I waited outside for about 20 minutes before it was ready. It was tasty and delicious, and the fries were marvelous. There is a host that greets and entertains customers as soon as they walk in the door. She called me a Slut and asked if I was a virgin vegan, and I said yes because I have never eaten at a vegan fast food joint before. She also asked me my name and where I grew up. She made me feel like a celebrity. The Slutty Vegan is the place to go to impress somebody. I highly recommend it for date day or night because of the entertaining host, fun decor and awesome vegan food.

    I was so excited to try this place given their bold, provocative branding and mouthwatering menu. I went to their Fulton Avenue location in Brooklyn. Note that this restaurant is grab and go only. There is zero seating. If you are ordering inside, you form a line against the wall. If you are picking up, you go to the sidewalk window and wait outside. It is very tight and narrow inside the restaurant. On a Saturday around 7pm, it was packed. The line just to order was about a fifteen minute wait. I ended up ordering pickup on their website while I was waiting in line at the restaurant. They have very comprehensive customization options on the menu. The pick up order said it would take 30 minutes to be prepared but there was no other order tracking. They also do not text or email you when your order is ready, so it's not very convenient. Unfortunately, they messed up my order and didn't give me one of my sandwiches so I had to go back, which was super frustrating. When I did get it corrected, they threw in extra fries which was a nice touch. I saw that they gave someone else a free refill because his order was also delayed so I guess they weren't having a great night, but they tried to make up for it with good service. I will say, the man working at the pickup counter was very apologetic and personable. As for the food itself, it was just okay. I got the One Night Stand burger with jalapeños added. I expected the burger to be loaded with toppings but there wasn't much. The bacon had okay texture. It was chewy but didn't have much flavor. I expected the slut sauce to pack a bold punch but it was also very subtle in terms of flavor. The burger patty was pretty juicy but nothing special. I did enjoy the fries which were crinkle cut and crispy. They were sprinkled with fry dust seasoning which was tasty but didn't overwhelm the fries. You can also order the fries without the seasoning if you prefer. I tried the fried pickles as well. They were a pretty good portion size and I enjoyed them. The blackberry mayo was very novel. It was sweet and creamy and paired well with the pickles and regular fries. Their lemonade was refreshing but on the sweeter side and had too much ice. Overall, I am still up for visiting again and trying the chicken sandwich and the Philly cheesecake-style option, but this first trip was a bit disappointing.

    a delicious burger, great sauce, and solid fries with good seasoning. I took this home to eat and wish I would've stayed in to eat the fries, I'm sure they're amazing fresh. I'll be back for sure!

    The hype is real, y'all. Finally got a chance to try Slutty Vegan and the flavors are as loud and brash as the storefront. When I stepped in to pick up my order, I was greeted as a slut by the whole kitchen staff. (Like #truth, I am a slut for vegan food.) They do this whole scripted, call-and-response thing, sorta like the "Ohayō gozaimasu" that some Japanese restaurants do. You don't even have to be in the store. They noticed someone returning to pick up their order through the window, and the lead said something and the rest of the staff responded. I didn't catch it all because truth be told, I was a little overwhelmed. Even if Slutty Vegan's schtick is not your thing, you can't deny how tasty their food is. The menu is largely built around their plant-based patty with slut sauce, caramelized onions, lettuce, and tomato on a Hawaiian bun. The different menu options essentially make you choose which one special ingredient to add: bacon, jalapeños, plantains, or pickles. I got the Dancehall Queen, the one with plantains, cuz if I'm a slut for vegan, I'm a whore for sweet jerk plantains. Nomz. It also came with fries, crinkle-cut to maximize the surface area for that Slutty dust seasoning goodness. Oh so satisfying. Definitely worth the return to try their other options.

We happened to get there during brunch for our first visit, which was great because it was a mix of both lunch and breakfast options. We split one main dish from each part of the menu. The Tofu Benedict was the best Benedict I've ever eaten IN MY LIFE, and also top three best breakfasts I've ever had. The smoked tomato is what makes that dish extra special. The rosemary home fries on the side were also incredible and I'm really picky when it comes to potatoes. We also split the Chickpea Parm sandwich but I was so full that I ended up taking a majority of my half sandwich home. Which was perfect because it was even better cold! The Italian flavors mixed with the savory chickpea patty and the bitter greens was just perfect. The only thing that wasn't great (not docking any stars for this) was dessert. We ordered the Strawberry "Tiramisu." I'm putting Tiramisu in quotes because I detected no espresso and no cinnamon. It was super bland. I let my husband eat most of it. Would not order that again. I am looking forward to returning! The wait staff were really friendly, the ambiance was super pretty, and food came out super fast and hot. Perfection.

The menu is stacked--sandwiches, hearty apps, macs, and cozy entrees that make you forget you're eating vegan. During my visit, they were running a Reuben sandwich special that seriously tempted me, but I went with the oyster mushroom calamari, and wow, the seasoning was spot on, and it could easily fool a seafood lover. My friend tried the seitan wings and was really impressed, even though he's usually not into mock meats. They came with super flavorful sauces and were definitely shareable. He also had the smash burger, which was a total win--savory, satisfying, and gave big diner vibes. We heard the milkshakes are amazing too, but we were too full to fit them in. Next time, for sure. Only downside? The service was on the slow side--we waited over 30 minutes between apps and mains. It's a popular spot, so some delay is understandable, but it was noticeable. Overall, I loved it and can't wait to go back with an emptier stomach and room for dessert.

I was a little disappointed to see the skirt steak from my first visit was no longer available, but that quickly disappeared once I tried the mofongo. The mofongo had bits of tempeh bacon mixed throughout and was topped with oyster mushrooms. The plantain was sweeter than the traditional green plantain mash I'm used to, but I actually loved that twist. The oyster mushrooms were seasoned so well they reminded me of chicharrón, while the tempeh bacon added the smoky, savory element that mofongo traditionally gets from pork cracklings. What really tied the dish together was the creamy coconut curry, which gave it a delicious Caribbean-inspired twist. The entire dish was creative, comforting, and incredibly flavorful. I'll definitely be back again soon.

One was bringing food to a table while the other was closing out a check. Once someone was available, I was seated by a very friendly hostess. I ordered the chimichurri steak, and it was excellent. It was easily my favorite part of the meal, and I'd definitely order it again. The person I was with ordered the curry goat and substituted the roti for beans and rice. They really enjoyed it, but we both felt the portion was too small for the price. The quality was there, but I do think the serving could be a bit more generous. We also ordered an appetizer that disappeared almost as soon as it hit the table because it was so good. I also had the Island Onigiri, which I really enjoyed, along with a passion fruit drink that paired well with the meal. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. The only small thing I noticed was that the restaurant was a bit chilly, and I felt like my food cooled down pretty quickly because of it.  The music was great, the atmosphere was relaxed, and overall I had a really good experience. There are still quite a few things on the menu I want to try, so I'll definitely be back and will update this review after another visit.
