Came here based on the reviews, but disappointed to see they weren't open for in-store business as the door was locked. The owner came to the door and directed me to the printed sheet of items they had for sale displayed in the window. I saw coffees, but no actual teas. They seem to be getting ready to get back ready for in-person though. Cash only (or check lol).

I don't drink coffee. And when I'm not being endlessly ridiculed for it by cruel, caffeinated co-workers, I pick up all sorts of excellent teas and tea accessories at Two For the Pot. The nice man who runs this joint also sells jams, spices, coffee and more. It's small, but holds a lot more than you'd think it could. But even with such stellar stock, my favorite item in the store (that I haven't purchased) is the lion's head mug, if only because there's a sign next to it admitting that it could be a baboon's, or demented clown's head mug, depending on your point of view.

I'd passed by a few times before, always drawn in by the foliage spilling through the windows, but I was a little skeptical it might lean more toward Instagram gimmick than substance. Happy to report I was wrong. The space is calm, relaxed, and genuinely inviting--more like a neighborhood bar that just happens to have an indoor farm in the back. It almost felt like a coffee shop, but with excellent cocktails. We tried the celery gimlet, farm tini, smash, and bad apple sour--the standout was the celery gimlet. Drinks can run on the pricier side with some that we tried pricing around $20 each, but they exceeded expectations, and the balanced flavors and aesthetic made it feel worth it. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

This urban farm grows and sells greens to local chefs and restaurants, and while there is an impressive amount of space dedicated to these greens, I wonder how the economics of an urban farm like this work. How can you compete with rural farms when each square inch of city rent costs as much as it does? I'm sure the greens arrive to the city's restaurants extra fresh. The space is sprawling for Prospect Heights standards, with two main halls. The brewery has an impressive beer menu, but also cocktails, NA drinks, and kombucha. They were out of all the ingredients for any of their mocktails though and just as they were pouring me an NA beer the keg kicked, so instead I got a kombucha since I am drinking less booze these days. The highlight of the place for me, other than their packed events calendar, is the pizza pop up in the back. I don't usually have the highest of expectations for brewery food and I prefer my pizza from a proper slice joint, but these pizzas were absolutely delicious. I got both the tri-color burrata and puttanesca, and not only were the sauces full of rich flavor, the crust was delightful too. Maybe the local greens do make a difference when it comes to flavor. The place draws the sort of crowd that loves puzzles and trivia, which are my kind of people. So if you're looking for some brainy friends, there's a high chance you can find them here. There's plenty of seating for big groups too.

Instead customers should buy the items separately and pay by weight. This is what I did today : I bought one piece of salmon $7.95 and some carrots $3.33 for a total $11.28 instead of the meal price of $14. ( I have attached today's receipt for reference) Conclusion : If Whole Foods estimates that the prior meal portions are not profitable enough they should either discontinue the meal offer and customers should pay only by weight or they should bring down the meal price to $11. Simply makes no sense to offer a meal option that is more pricey than the sum of the parts unless they believe that customers are stupid

They eliminated delivery service a few years back and as a result, it prevents me from buying as much as I'd like. I can have groceries delivered via Amazon but I prefer shopping in person myself. I particularly like their seafood department as well as the cheese and produce. The nitpick would be that it sits on top the Gowanus Canal which is a cesspool of polluted water and carcinogens. 5 stars for everything else.
