    Popcorn Chicken
    Jason L.

The place is suitable to stay for small snack. The bubble tea was great. Tapioca balls were fragile. Popcorn chicken taste delicious. Had multiple flavours to choose. Spicy one is my preference. Came out hot. Best to eat immediately, to taste the actual flavour.

Heads up! The store does have a minimum of $10 purchase to use card as payment or you'll be charged an extra 50¢ ! It's nothing crazy, but it's makes the ordering experience smoother if you're aware. I tried the takoyaki, which to my surprise was very tasty and perfect for two! Overall, the aesthetic was very welcoming and cute with the menu providing a variety of different drinks and snacks to choose from

No matter how many other popcorn chicken I try, I'm always coming back for Vivi's. Their popcorn chicken is just so juicy and tender, I feel like I have yet to find another establishment that can compare. The chicken is made to order so it is fresh and hot, but do expect to wait a while. I personally only ever go for the garlic flavor (essentially just garlic powder, I believe) but there are other flavors to choose from. I get their drinks from time to time but their drinks are pretty standard.

"Covid-19" hrs -- must order on ubereats or do a phone order to avoid contact. (I would call them to confirm if they are open)

We need more bubble tea places open during these tough times of covid. Does anyone agree that bubble tea is an essential business lol? Anyway, this location has seem to get things right by placing a fixed schedule. I think Kung fu tea across the street should take notes. Their hrs are not consistent. I usually order the flavored teas because I don't do milk. This location has vastly improved from my 1st experience last yr. The bubbles are chewy and on pt lately and I'm loving it. They ask you kindly to order for pickup on uber eats or call them to do a phone order. Picking up orders can be tricky when there is a crowd. Since there's only one person distributing drinks, you must be patient. The no contact thing is great and all but, if you place a phone order, they have to take your method of payment which defeats its purpose IMHO. I posted a photo of their "covid hrs" so, your welcome! Remember to social distance and stay 6 ft away from everyone. And support your local businesses!

I am a lover of all bubble tea places but it's true some are more authentic than others when it comes to taste. Vivi I find has more fruit flavors and dessert like options. Whereas other tea places focus on mixing up the base tea flavors with fruity options. Again, a fan of both but know what you're into before ordering. Just saying. I got the Thai Milk Tea on this visit, hot beverage for a brisk evening. It was really good, more on the sweeter side. It totally reminded me of a Thai Iced without ice. Yum. My sister and I frequent these establishments often and know what we like. Skip the chocolate choco or chocolate shake like drink, it's not quite it's name. Definitely not the Ice Cream parlor kind. Stick to the fruity Classics or any of the black or Green tea varieties. U can't go wrong with those.

My childhood friend and I went to Vivi for some bubble teas. Unfortunately, the tea didn't meet our standard.* We ordered a cup of the longan tea to share. As my friend stated, it tasted like they dumped the whole container of syrup in the cup and added 10% hot water. I asked the cashier if I can purchase a cup of hot water. She asked me to repeat that request. When I did, she turned to her co-worker; they shrugged and quoted me $1. Interesting. Their tea is full of sugar hence they charge you $1 to dilute it. My friend urged me to give this place one star when I write this review. However, I'm a rebel without a cause. I give this place two stars because I love how cute the décor is. * We've tried most of the bubble teas shops on 86th street. Most of them are in business; however, some weren't so lucky.

Came by to grab some drinks and popcorn chicken with my boyfriend on a Tuesday night around 8:30. I ordered a green tea yakult with lychee jelly and my boyfriend ordered the matcha red bean! We also got the curry popcorn chicken as a snack. As a heads up, the wait can be a bit long here. Typically the popcorn chicken does take some time to make but I came by once just for drinks and I still had to wait a while. My drink was good and refreshing for a hot summer day! My boyfriend enjoyed his drink too. Our popcorn chicken didn't taste like curry though but it was still pretty tender and yummy. I wish they had seasoned it more but I enjoyed it! Not the best bubble tea spot I've had but a nice spot for drinks and a snack!

3Q, 3.75 normally. Comes with pudding, tapioca and herbal jelly
    Carmen W.

Its been a while since I last ordered bubble tea with regular sugar and usually I can tell whether it's good milk tea or bad by how much flavor it has without sugar. With normal sugar it tastes just as delicious as I remember it to be :3. I had the 3Q BOGO thanks to the grand opening special. The herbal jelly, bubbles, and pudding were all bouncy, smooth, tasty & in just the right amounts. I can't wait to try their popcorn chicken in the future because that's the one thing KFT across the street doesn't have! The store itself is very cute and reminds me of a sanrio princess theme. Pinks and whites everywhere, with two seater tables and a bench by the entrance. Overall, the store itself is small and probably fits 20 people max. Hopefully with Vivis, competition can be fierce and lower bubble tea prices or spice up what each shop has to offer ;). PS no wifi

The menu is pretty expansive and covers what you'd expect from a boba place, including fresh fruit teas, brown sugar bobas, yakult drinks, matcha ones, and the normal milk teas. It's interesting that the drinks only came in one size according to the type. I ordered a honeydew milk tea, and tried to get it as a small or medium, but they only had large. Boba was also an extra 75 cents. The drink itself was ok, it was both very sweet and watery. You couldn't taste any tea flavor. The boba was below average and there was hardly any in the drink. It didn't even fully cover the bottom of the cup. They were pretty soft, but didn't have any flavor. My friend got the standard milk tea and it also tasted pretty watery. The service was also pretty slow. The woman who took our order was a bit rude and we had to actively try to flag her down, even though the restaurant was empty. Overall, I wouldn't come back for boba. Tbar, which is nearby is a much better alternative.

I appreciated the different protein options, as well as the many sauce options. One thing I really like about Pokebowl Station is the flexibility--whether you want a premade poke bowl or want to build your own. You can choose from sushi burritos, white rice or brown rice bowls, or a poke salad (no rice), which is great for different dietary preferences. The star of the show: purple yam souffle with vanilla ice cream is chefs kiss!! I thought I couldn't like any dessert more than their chocolate molten lava cake but this one definitely takes the spot. Top two desserts they have! Even when I had lava cakes at fancy establishments, it doesn't hold a candle to prince tea house! Their crepe cakes are also alright but I've found the to be less unique and enjoyable especially the brown sugar boba which sometimes comes out in clumps hard to pour onto the cake. Their food selection is decent for sandwiches like chicken katsu and also fries. Their fruity teas aren't my style but their hot milk teas are amazing. The lavender green tea was more green tea which was disappointing, hoped to taste more lavender. The best one is the rose lovers milk tea, literally perfection each time. Unfortunately, this place may no longer be my usual. My favorite part of this place is that the serves don't really care about you in the sense that the bring you food and leave you alone. However, they now impose mandatory 20% tip on all tables even for table of 1 or 2. This location only. As someone who realizes the servers here simply bring food and nothing else here (which I actually love as I don't like to be bothered) but expect a high mandatory tip, this is not the way to go. Especially since there have been numerous occasions where servers are nowhere to be seen and refuse to service you for something as simple as napkins or a check if they're not your server, this is an absurd addition. Definitely visiting less now that this happened. The most bothersome is that it's mandatory. Doesn't seem right/ethical and makes it feel less genuine. Had the pleasure of visiting other prince tea house locations and the service seems better, even water without asking, surprising cash discount, and most importantly: don't impose this mandatory tip!
