Brown sugar bubble tea, Thai milk tea and mango freeze - Three bubble tea drinks are arranged on a weathered wooden table outside a cafe. The drinks include a milk tea with cream swirls, a peach-colored tea with tapioca pearls at the bottom, and a yellow fruit-flavored tea with black tapioca pearls. Each drink is in a clear plastic cup with a black straw and the cafe's logo, 'MARSTE A,' printed on the cups. The background shows part of the cafe's exterior with a window and some reflections of the street scene.

Omg, the brown sugar bubble tea was the best I've ever had. Super friendly and efficient service. They had an outdoor eating area and indoor as well. The mango freeze had chunks of mango and a jasmine tea flavor. Excellent place.

Review is solely for the dirty teas! Overall, I really haven't had such good bubble milk tea in such a longggg time, but it is pretty pricey for such a small stubby drink (they only have one size for this). Mars Dirty Tea ($5): I am in love with this drink! I took a sip before mixing - veryyyy sweet, to be expected. Was told I couldn't adjust sweetness (not sure if true), but after mixing it thoroughly, it was definitely a normal sugar level. The thing that makes this so different from other places? The milk. I asked and they use whole milk and heavy cream (I probably forgot what else they answered with.) My god. SO much fattiness content in this milk, but it brought back memories of drinking creamy, frothy milk in China. I don't think this is for everyone, because the extra richness left a bit of an aftertaste. Definitely NOT for the lactose intolerant! Bubbles were also good: chewy and soft, not stale and hard like some other places. Mars Mango Dirty Tea ($5): had pieces of fruity peel mixed into this. I liked this as well because of the fruitiness, but didn't leave an impression as big as the original dirty tea did. Sweet but has a sourness to it too

Mango Adventure(?) - Mango shaved ice with mangoes, mochi, toasted coconut shavings, and condensed milk
Sammi K.

Came here for dessert after eating dinner nearby. I haven't had shaved ice in so long and was craving for some. I ordered the Mango Adventure(?) which came with mango shaved ice, mangoes, condensed milk, mochi, and toasted coconut shavings. $6.50 For the price, it was decently sized. It's big enough to share with 2 or 3 people and it was very tasty. I personally like coconut, but my brother did not like it so much. He complained that the toasted coconut shavings added a weird mix of texture, which I understand. It did have a sharp texture, contrary to the fluffy texture of the shaved ice. Personally, I'd come back for the shaved ice. I've heard good things about the poke bowls and I would love to try it even though I'm not into raw fish. They have a great amount of cooked proteins to choose from, so I'm excited to try it one day!

Did I really just pay for 2% milk with bubbles? It tasted like plain milk and wasn't sweet at all. I'd come here for poke but not the milk tea. The bubbles weren't chewy it kinda just melted in my mouth. Giving it two stars because the taro was alright.

One of my favorite quick dessert spots for waffle ice cream cones and rolled ice cream. Today I had a "one more Thai" rolled ice cream and it was great. I had it with mochi, marshmallows, and waffle cookies. I also come here for the drinks. When I feel like getting something a little milky, I get lychee jelly milk green tea. Its so good! It's kind of refreshing because of the hint of green tea in milk tea. When I feel like getting something fruity, I get peach green tea. They're both so amazing! Would definitely recommend!

I really wanted to try their shaved ice after seeing it the last time I was here, so got the legendary grey. The earl grey shaved ice is really good, super light and has a really nice earl grey flavor. However, the topping were a bit too strong against the shaved ice. The bubbles were nice and warm, and went well with it. The other toppings were covered in syrup which overpowered everything. I would get this with just the shaved ice and bubbles next time, definitely avoid the canned toppings (popping boba, jellies). I would come back and try their other shaved ice flavors (like durian) but wouldn't get it with toppings.

Went here after dinner to get some ice cream. I order the mango adventurer it wasn't that bad. I would definitely try different flavor here. The service and place are nice just to hang out like with friends or even family

Such a cute addition to this area! The decor is perfect for a chill afternoon hangout. My friends and I got two pokes and one mango tango ice cream roll. I have to say that they have good amount of poke bowl topping choices. Ingredients are pretty fresh, they even have baby octopus. Yum yum! One thing I really like about this place is that they are not cheap with toppings, my bowl is sooo full!

Is this snow cream or shaved ice?

Its not a legitimate shaved ice like you imagine, its literally ice cream put in a machine giving that shredded look. No ice what so ever.

Does this location have any dairy-free dessert options?

I've never been to a yogurt store that makes you pay a set price first before selecting toppings, which also means toppings are limited based on the yogurt size (something I only realized later after looking at a picture I took in the store). The employee who was supposed to help me immediately gave me attitude, as if I was supposed to already know all the "rules" of the store. I said nothing that would have warranted that reaction -- I simply went over to the display. At the register, I scanned my rewards app then couldn't find the card reader to pay. After about 20 seconds, I realized it was sitting on top of a case of water bottles (pictured). The topping limit signage was also placed off to the side of the register where customers wouldn't naturally see it -- it wasn't even on my side and was partially blocked. I only found this out when I went up to the counter after I got my yogurt. While choosing toppings, I asked how many I was allowed, and she responded, "How many toppings do you think you're supposed to choose?" with a noticeably rude tone. When I chose cookie dough as my fourth topping, she only gave me a few pieces, dropped another on the counter (pictured), and ignored it. The cookie dough topping was stale too. I also noticed she did not seem to treat other customers the same way. I eventually went back to the register - I asked her if the yogurt was actually strawberry matcha because it tasted like vanilla. I also asked about her rudeness because I genuinely didn't understand why I was being treated that way for asking simple questions. She said the information was "on the wall," even though it was difficult to see. I actually ended up apologizing earlier because she made me feel like I was burdening her. The only personable thing she said the entire interaction was that I didn't need to apologize, but the tone still felt unfriendly. Two customers sitting nearby ended up leaving without ordering. I understand it was Super Bowl Sunday and she appeared to be working alone, which may have contributed to stress. Still, I left feeling extremely shaken and even spilled yogurt on my jacket afterward. I would not return to this location. I used to come to this location sometimes, but after this experience -- and a previous visit where I ordered a tea and received very little -- I would not return.

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil. This business is very accessible by MTA NYC Transit at Port Authority 42nd Street's A, C, E trains and buses near the peripheral of Times Square.

They're a little pricey, but each donut is a pretty hefty ring of chewy glutinous rice flour batter. I had them the following morning, and the donuts still tasted fresh. There was a little bit of oiliness from the frying, but it did not taste off or too greasy. I think this is from the meticulous frying process and good management of the oil. I got the Cookies and Cream, Rose, Lavender, and Pistachios. I loved the Rose and Lavender flavors, especially the lavender which had a solid floral flavor without being perfume-y. I look forward to trying other donuts and sweets from Bear Donut in the future!
