Finally, I was able to get into the Hershey Pantry. This brunch spot does not take reservations, and it always packed...now I know why. We walk in and were greeted by such kind faces! We were then able to get a seat at the counter (love sitting at the counter btw). The waitress was also very sweet and gave us ample time to check out the menu. To drink, I got the special mimosa flight, and my boyfriend got a special latte. Both were super yummy and great presentation. For food, I got the steak and eggs and my bf got the mediterranean special, that he DEVOURED. My steak was also cooked perfectly to medium rare and the potatoes with the addition of onions were divine. I loved the atmosphere, staff and food! Looking for a breakfast place while visiting Hershey Park. We were so glad we found this place. We were a large crowd. Had to wait for a table. Maybe 15 minutes. Place is busy but service was great. Food was very tasty. I ordered a breakfast sampler and when the pancakes came I couldn't believe how large they were. It was sharable plate. Portions are big especially the pancakes. Last week my wife and I went to the Hershey Pantry for a quick meal and were pleasantly surprised. I ordered one of the specials which was Apple French Toast. It came with a layer of apples and cream or icing. The mix was enough to not need any syrup as it was enough of sugar to pass on the syrup. The French Toast was light airy and the perfect base for the apples. This also came with a few slices of bacon. I am a fan of crispier bacon and this was just as I like it. My wife had a Cinnamon Roll that was fantastic. It was also nice consistency for a roll and swimming in a sea of icing. This serving was also quite large and my wife only finished about half of it. The restaurant had an interesting mix of breakfast and lunch options, and all of the food that landed on tables near us all looked mouth watering. Tiffany was our waitress and was wonderful. She had all the answers on our menu questions and really did a great job. The food was on the table in no time and it was a pleasure with Tiffany's excellent service. Let's just say we didn't leave hungry nor disappointed, we had a great table on the outdoor patio, it wasn't scorching hot, it was nice, cool, and relaxing. Honestly, this visit was a HUGE disappointment. The simplest food took forever. I'm talking 35-45 minutes for some pancakes and eggs. Had to sit on the patio, which baffles me that it was open without an AC unit put in taking that it was 100° outside. COMPLETELY unprofessional having young ladies running around bright red and sweaty while trying to have your customers somewhat enjoy their mediocre food. We've been coming here for years and this new management is just awful. We stopped in here for breakfast while in the area. We had a wait and there isn't anywhere to wait so we waited in our car. Wait was longer than anticipated. When we were notified, we were told it was the back porch and had to then trudge there. Not the best start. The back porch has room tables and a nice warm feeling thanks to the fireplace. Expansive menu and a kids menu! Service was attentive. The relaxed atmosphere of the porch was a hit with us and seemed different than the cozy but crowded front. We ordered the scrambled eggs and toast (and bacon or sausage which she gave away) for my daughter which was good and a perfect kid sized portion and reasonable at $6.50. My husband got an omelette which was good, just not amazing good. We never ate the food but I'm giving it three stars because we tried to go but their space was unaccommodating from the outside---So we traveled straight here from NYC. We were so excited to head down to the restaurant and have a delicious breakfast. However we never actually made it inside . We drove around the parking lot for 20 minutes after driving 3.5 hours already. Theres no street parking and limited parking space outside. Unfortunately we had to leave. My kids were so upset!! It looked very cute but it was just way too crowded on a MONDAY morning! I've never disliked anything I've had here. The people are always friendly too, and there are indoor and covered outdoor areas to eat. The bad? The parking (especially on weekends) is absolutely HORRIBLE. A few spots in the front, side, and back. There's a hotel next door that has signs stating to not park there or get towed...I've parked there a few times without issue, thankfully, because there would've been nowhere to go after circling 5-10 times. We hit it at a great time just after noon on a Sunday and being late in March it seemed like perfect timing for us! The restaurant was quite busy but we were fortunate they had seating and we were seated right away! We started our meal with Coffee and the wife ordered a Pistachio Latte which she loved. She ordered the Cinnamon French Toast with a side of Bacon I ordered the Chicken and Waffles! The Chicken was breaded Ed Breast and Crispy the waffle was very light and fluffy this is probably one of the best chicken and waffles I have ever eaten. Went there for brunch with my sister and it was very busy and very loud. The food took a very long time to come out and when it did my eggs were cold. We ate and then ordered another round of drinks and we were still working on them when someone came to the table and asked us to leave. They said we had been there to long. The bill for two was 80 dollars for breakfast I was still working on the 16 dollars worth of drinks and we were asked to leave. The real weird thing is there was no one at the door waiting.
