The French fries and the tator tots are in a shared fryer and are therefore not gluten-free. I suggest HCK make a menu change to accurately reflect their fryer situation and avoid confusion. This is probably my favorite brunch spot on the east side of the valley. I've been here twice now and I've enjoyed each time. I've tried the French toast and the midnight sandwich of their brunch menu. I've shared the tater tots and the chilaquiles with a friend. This place is a casual experience with attention to detail in the food. You walk in and order at the counter they give you a number and you sit and wait. While sitting you can observe the tranquil interior decor, heirloom intentions , and social atmosphere of the place . When the food shows up you realize how truly far from any other order at the counter experience you are . The food is so good, much more than what you might expect at an "order here" type of place. This unique aspect makes the experience so relaxing and enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and open to answer as many questions as I can come up with . There is a subtle sense of good hospitality that I really appreciate. The only thing holding me back from giving them five stars is the lack of good coffee. I have gone to the coffee shop on the corner and walked in with my own coffee ready to go each time. Its not a big problem as they do have excellent orange juice and mimosas to offer. All in all I will definitely be returning here and look forward to experience more items on the menu. read more

Each item was delicious the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the bloody mary's. They were not bad but not something I would order ever again. What an amazing local spot! We were in town for a wedding and wanted a diverse menu to fit all our needs: beer-drinking, gluten-free, veg, full-carnivore, fry-munching and all. Heirloom delivered on all fronts! The service was so friendly and fun, and our server gave us recommendations and was patient when we were indecisive. The menu has quirky twists on classics, like a crispy shrimp po'boy, the huge Impossible Burger, truffle tots, and more. Everything is marked with allergen and dietary info *praise emoji* making it easy to decipher. I got a sandwich on gluten-free bread that was toasted well and didn't fall apart immediately, which is a happy surprise for gfree breads. Shrimp po'boy: underwhelming, not much flavor but the shrimp did taste fresh Cuban sandwich: this was our favorite, very tasty Sweet potato fries: the best I've ever had! Truffle tots: nothing special about these and I didn't taste any truffle flavor, just like any other tator tots, would not order again Fried chicken sandwich: very yummy, the chicken was tender and juicy and there wasn't too much breading Shrimp rice bowl: again the shrimp tasted very fresh and were cooked perfectly but this was just a simple shrimp and rice bowl, nothing too special about it Michelada: their michelada mix was gross and we couldn't even drink it Mimosa: strong! If I could this place a zero I would. My family and I ordered 2 grilled cheeses with tomato soup and a salad and we waited over an over. They did not have the special or the regular chicken sandwich, or the Cuban sandwich. The food is nothing out of the ordinary and is quite bland. My chicken salad came with no chicken. It is a casual place, where you order, pay and they bring out your meal. My wife ordered The Original Heirloom Burger with a side of Our Famous Truffle Tots. She really liked the burger and enjoyed the tots, but would not have minded them being normal tots. One option they have is to substitute an Impossible Burger for beef, which I would have done just to try it. But I was not after a burger, they had Shrimp and Grits for $13 and I had to have that. I was a bit nervous ordering Shrimp and Grits outside the Southeast, but was not disappointed. They were very good, better than many places in the Southeast, but not as great as a couple places. Last night I took my mom to dinner at a French restaurant and we paid $100 to make our own Caesar salad. I had thought about bringing her to Heirloom Craft Kitchen, but I hadn't tried it yet, so I didn't take a chance (Mom's kinda picky). So today I treated MYSELF to an early dinner at Heirloom, and it has exceeded all of my expectations. The decor is casual-elegant and features clean lines, some grey brick and minimalist style, and it's ample. The menu is stellar, with small plates, crafted salads and sandwiches, street tacos, and a vegan-friendly selection. Craft beer and wine are attractively displayed, and they have a case filled with beautiful handmade pastries. Today I'm going to try the Cabernet macaron, which Mike very kindly had me try. For dinner I ordered the Grilled Cheese and Tomato Basil Soup (the soup is vegan, insanely fresh, and comes with a pretty green spiral of pesto on top). The sandwich hit the spot perfectly, and so did the amazing vegan tater tots, which Mike encouraged me to "taste" (he brought me a huge, irresistible pile of them, which made me wish I had brought friends!). The small side salad was a generous mound of arugula with lots of little chopped fresh veggies and a sweet-tangy dressing that I loved. I paired my early dinner with a fresh and light glass of Nomadica Sparkling White wine out of their case. It came out of a can - BUT IT'S A BEAUTIFUL CAN with a hummingbird on it, plus it's from Napa! :) The service was excellent - I couldn't have asked for more, and my dinner was beyond satisfying. Counter service joint very busy on a Stagecoach weekend. The food was all amazing! We ordered the deviled eggs, goat cheese bruschetta and the bacon wrapped heirloom dog and there wasn't a scrap left. They have an assortment of craft beers in a fridge at the entry as well as wine drinks (bloody, mimosa and others)... just pass and have a beer. I ordered a bloody which they charged me for and then later after a long wait for a drinks, we were told they didn't have the ingredients for. Every time I go to Palm Springs, I make sure to stop by Heirloom to eat in or grab a burger and tots for the road. You can't go wrong with any of the great options they have on their menu. On my last visit I enjoyed La Quinta Philly Cheese Stake. The queso was so delicious it definitely needed more all over the sandwich. Super cheesy and the steak was incredible. If you are not a meat eater, do not worry they have something for everyone. Don't forget to try their vegan options, they are also amazing! Looking forward to my next visit.
