He is greater than I has always such fun and cool designs that I adore and today was no different since it's been awhile and I usually go to the shop up North though today since I was in the area thought to give them a visit. Located in the Nimitz Center it's easy to find them as you're zipping along Nimitz here they have shirts for women, men's and kids along with fun accessories and stickers. Today this cute pinkish shirt with flowers scattered on the logo have it a nice spring vibe and knew this was the one. The vibe here is much more mellow than the one up north but they still have it all and we are so blessed to have such wonderful brand to express our love along with the island life we live in. Shopping along Nimitz Highway in Honolulu, Hawaii... I was driving past the strip mall (the one with AAA, Red Wing Shoes, and New Eagle Cafe) when I spotted the "HE is greater than I" store. The store reminded me of the time I took my friends from Los Angeles to the North Shore. They really wanted to see the original location of this shop in Haleiwa. It was a learning experience for me! The little shop on the North Shore expanded and is quite famous! This second location is more convenient, but has limited selection... Or maybe I visited before the next delivery arrived? I went in last week to purchase a shirt and small shopping bag as a gift and the two boys that were working was too busy talking about video games or something to pay attention to their customers. This is one of the two stores on the island. It wasn't busy when we walked in but we were greeted right away and welcomed into the store. We made small talk with the employees and they were nice! I'm glad they opened up this new location for those who can't always make the drive out to their Haleiwa store. This location is located at the Nimitz Center. They have some storefront parking stalls but they also have a parking structure. I like the store itself; it's clean and uncluttered. They also have nice displays with some of their shirts hanging against the walls and over the clothing racks. I noticed that almost every piece of clothing was $25 with the exception of some sweatshirts and board shorts. He Greater Than I is located off Nimitz Highway by Alakawa Street in an outdoor shopping area. There is plenty of parking in their private lot by the front and the rear parking area which is shared with other businesses in the area. The store is small and straight to the point. Items are displayed very nicely and not cluttered. The store is well kept with great and friendly customer service. Very recognizable, iconic, simple, and well designed logo with so much meaning behind it. Various items can be purchased here such as apparel, decals and accessories for Men, Women, and Children. I have purchased their vinyl decals, shirts, hoodies, and windbreakers. I have no complaints about anything purchased for myself or the family. All items are produced very well and with high quality printing and materials used. The apparel runs a little more on the fitted side. The shirts are true to size but with the hoodies I wear a size up. My shirt size is medium and wear medium hoodies. Designs are released quarterly. Very limited designs are kept throughout the year. Do not sleep on any designs you like because once they are sold out then they will no be reproduced. The store can also be found in Hale'iwa, in the mainland at Newport Beach (CA) and online at their website. Any exchanges or returns are efficent and effortless just keep your receipt. Well, while I consider myself a generally spiritual person, I'm not very big on organized religion...let's just leave it at that. :) Anyway, a few friends of mine from the Bay Area just go ape poop over the stuff from He is greater than I so they asked if I could go there and pick up some merchandise for them and send it over. Under normal circumstances, I probably wouldn't visit this store but my Bay Area friends are always kind enough to ship over cookie butter and thai chili cashews to me from Trader Joe's so getting them goods from here is the least I could do. The store is pretty straight forward, just racks of clothing and some stickers in a glass case at the counter. The person working there was friendly and attentive and everyone in the fairly crowded store was helped with the same friendly smile, definitely good customer service. I picked out a few stickers of varying sizes and was quickly on my way. One thing I will say as a con is that the stickers are pretty pricey. So, off the stickers and some homemade chili pepper jelly went to the west coast with a little note mentioning that it was a nice experience checking out the store and a few days later I got a nice email from one of my friends that was super happy to get them. I'm taking 3 stars away purely based on customer service. The store is clean and organized. I'm writing this review from the store. I've taken two shirts to the dressing room and tried on two hats. Being the only customer in the store, I would guess that I would have received a greeting or an offer for help. Wasn't offered anything. I asked the associates if I could use the room, he replied "yeah." I still bought a hat, but probably won't be back bc being ignored doesn't feel good. Maybe I'll tried their other location. It is painful writing a subpar review for a Christian apparel company. My genuine hope is that they improve from this feedback. read more

I have always loved this store. On 5/22, I went in to the Nimitz store to purchase some t-shirts. I was rung up by a super friendly blonde guy who said that there would be a sale on t-shirts at the end of the month, so check back. On Saturday, 5/27 I called the Nimitz store to confirm if the t-shirts were going on sale on Monday. The phone just rang and rang, no one picked it up. I called again 15 minutes later and this guy who sounded dazed and confused answered. I asked if t-shirts were going on sale at the end of the month. He said he wasn't sure and to call back in two weeks. "In two weeks?" I said. "But that's already into the next month." I finished. "Uh...yah..." he said, sounding like I had just woken him up. "Ok, thank you." I said, hung up and called the Haleiwa store. I asked the same question to the lady who answered the phone and she told me that t-shirts would be on sale, and that they would be open on Memorial Day too. I told her about the call to the Nimitz store and she asked me if the guy sounded young. I just told her that whoever I spoke to shouldn't have been answering the phone. Well, it was more like a tiny room because it was very small and very crowded with boxes and a small display of stickers and shirts hanging from the ceilings. Since then, they've relocated and evolved into a newer, bigger, cleaner store in Haleiwa Town. And now, here we are, a similar unit, in the heart of Honolulu, located in the Nimitz Center. Just like the Haleiwa store, the floors are wooden, the clothing style selections are a few but its with many various colors. They have shirts for men, women, children, and babies. You can also purchase sticker decals and sunglasses. Don't expect any fancy styles and prints on their shirts. They embellish the company's simple logo on all their products,which IMO, makes this company much more identifiable and their products seeked out for. There was only one lady working but she was very nice and talked story with us for a few. I wish they had more style selections but for now, I'm just happy they're closer to town. The prices for the shirts and sweaters are on the high side but people still buy them. (Including my family and friends that come from the mainland. I love this store because of the concept behind it's conception and that it raises awareness to Christianity while making it "hip". There is Christian music being played on the speakers within the store, and it's basically a tiny store displaying their logo on almost every single item. Window decal, t-shirt, hat, rubber bracelet, bag, etc. I subtracted one star because some of the items are pricier than they should be and there aren't too many options when there is only one logo to choose from.
