So I went during the day on a weekday so place was pretty empty. When you arrive, the hostess was very nice and got seated right away. Our waitress was very nice, but at times it was hard to find her. When we arrived, I started with a Tito's and soda, which took quite a while to get and apparently it's because the Bartender is not always behind the bar. We started with a chef's favorite four. The queso on it was good. It was just a little too thick and salty, the fried green tomatoes. I didn't enjoy cause I like that they were battered instead of breaded. The onion rings. I have to say they were good. I didn't mind that they were regular breading and the onion inside was a good amount, which is great. Lastly, it had elk tacos, which was actual elk meat. I thought it was just ground beef because that's what it tasted like and it was over seasoned and dry. I then got the bone and ribeye and asked for a medium when I first cut into it. It seemed fine, but as I continued to cut pieces off the steak, it was well done and dry. They overdid the pepper on it. It literally was the whole flavor. The green beans tasted fishy. I don't know if they had just finished cooking fish around them so I was not able to eat them. My friend got a chicken fajitas plate and the chicken tasted fake. It was like like eating plastic. I don't know how to explain it. It had chimichurri rice, which was dry and salty. It really sucks cause there is such a high talk of this place, especially as location and how cute it is, but I sadly won't go back since the food was not worth the price at all.

Chicken fried chicken & egg biscuit ($15.95)

Haywire gives you that Texas aesthetic with delicious southern food at affordable prices and great hospitality! FAST FACT: * Parking - nearby parking garages with free parking * Reservations - available online through OpenTable * Delivery - available through UberEats and DoorDash * Happy hour - Monday through Friday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm with $7 drinks and bites PRICING: The total was $68.53 after tax ($5.23) but before tip for a sweet tea ($3.50), blueberry biscuits ($10.95), kolaches and queso ($13.95), hot chicken sandwich ($15.95), chicken fried chicken & egg biscuit ($15.95), and side of cornbread ($3). I think the pricing is INCREDIBLY reasonable for the portion size you get! SERVICE: The hostess greeted us right away and took us to a table and our server Sidney was super friendly and personable! There was a little miscommunication where we ordered the chicken and waffles but were brought a chicken sandwich but it wasn't a big deal. Overall I was impressed with how quickly the food came out and how nice all the workers were. BLUEBERRY BISCUITS (8/10) - I hadn't seen pictures so I didn't realize they were mini size but they were delicious nonetheless! It comes with 5 mini biscuits drizzled in the lemon glaze with extra glaze on the side. The biscuits are moist and soft, the blueberries are fresh, and the lemon glaze adds a nice tartness and some extra sweetness. These are good to share between 2 people. KOLACHES & QUESO (8/10) - Great appetizer! The pretzels are soft and chewy, the jalapeño cheddar sausage pieces are flavorful, and the queso blanco is nice and thick. It comes with 6 big pieces so it's perfect for sharing. CHICKEN FRIED CHICKEN & EGG BISCUIT (8/10) - This is MASSIVE and it comes with potatoes on the side! It's hard to take bites and get all of the toppings because there's so much going on but it tastes just as good if you deconstruct it on the plate. The cheddar, jalapeño, and bacon biscuit is soft and flavorful and holds together pretty well. The chicken fried chicken was cooked perfectly and the jalapeño sausage gravy is delicious. The green tomatoes and garlic aioli get a little lost. The egg is scrambled... I kind of wish it was a sunny side up egg instead but I'd still order this again! HOT CHICKEN SANDWICH (7/10) - I don't know if this is even a regular menu item... we ordered the hot chicken and waffles but this is what we got instead. The chicken was cooked perfectly but there wasn't much heat. The bread and fries on the side were both delicious but the sandwich was a little too saucy and kind of fell apart. CORNBREAD (9/10) - Don't skip this! It's incredibly moist and has the perfect level of sweetness. If you love cornbread, definitely order a piece or two. I visited during brunch on a Saturday around noon. I had a reservation but probably didn't need one because they weren't super busy. However, I will definitely come back for dinner in the future and would recommend Haywire as a great dining option while at the Domain!

I always have great service at Haywire. Brunch has become one of my favorite times to go. The kolaches are fantastic. Their queso and jalapeño gravy are both Lactaid-worthy from my perspective. The interior design definitely fits the vibe of the restaurant.

I got the cobb salad with beef tallow fries. Salads great as usual and could taste the beef tallow with the first half then I couldn't taste it Staff are friendly as always and the vibes vary - tent ok roof, dark inside, balcony. Lost track of how many times I've been here, ha.

Was meeting someone for the first time here for drinks. Not even sure how I blurted out the statement, but I told the bartender, Austin, that I was meeting someone for the first time. No idea what he looked like, age, like literally nothing. So I told him the whole back story. And Austin assured me that he had my back, that he was committed, if something went off kilter, that I would give him a look and he would understand the assignment. I think Austin even stayed a little past his shift to make sure I was good. And I just want to shout out to Austin on Thursday afternoon working the bar. First of all, you're a Saint. Thank you. I appreciate you. And secondly, you made one of the best mojito's I've ever had. But seriously, Austin, thank you so much!! I also ordered chips and queso. Which was fabulous. I wish the chips were a little thicker, the queso is thick and rich and the chip breaks when scooping it up. But overall, fantastic. If you haven't been to Haywire, please book mark it. Food is great. Drinks are great. Service has been outstanding, and it's just country chic inside with the crystal chandeliers. So how did this meet up go? It was good. We laughed and had drinks.

Love the vibe here. The decor is very charming and pretty. Service was great. King and Bonnie were our servers and they were amazing and attentive while also making solid recommendations. We had the chicken fried chicken and everything was perfect. We also shared the cornbread and that's not to be missed. Can't wait to come back and try more things.

Came for a birthday dinner. Got 5 star treatment from our amazing server Whitney! Ask for Whitney when you go. She's top notch. Walking in is a wonderful experience. The chandeliers on the first floor set the tone. We dined upstairs. It's much darker tones still elegant also. Haywire was great in accommodations for dietary restrictions, thank you! So we had the chicken, ribeye and chicken fried steak. The chicken was so moist and wonderfully seasoned and cooked. The fries were not too hard or too greasy, just right. The chicken fried steak was thick and tender. It had breading but the breading did not take over the entree. The mashed potatoes so nice and fluffy. The ribeye was perfectly cooked at medium rare and the asparagus was the perfect size. Our table was brought a wonderful croissant bread pudding! A treat for the taste buds! Again, I cannot say enough for Whitney. The ONLY complaint I have is there no sound buffering items on the walls or rugs. We truly had a hard time hearing each other and fully enjoy the birthday. Several times Whitney had to repeat herself, because it was so loud. She was very kind about it. If dining upstairs I would not recommend for a romantic date night. It was disappointing not being able to really have a family talk, we were only a table of 4. Other than that, it was great.

My family and I went here today from Easter brunch. I will say we made a reservation and was taken care of as soon as we came in, however we were there about 40 to 45 minutes before our food was on the table. The food was good but room temperature and not really even warm. My daughter got a burger and the bun was soggy when it arrived. Makes you think it had been ready for a little while. The food still tasted good, but not its best and not anything like it has been in the couple of other times we came. I had the Ranch Hand Breakfast. Good but not great! The astetics are still amazing, however so are sunsets on the lake. Im not so sure when I'll come back. The first time I was here, it was much busier and the service was faster and a lot better.

I met a Yelp friend for dinner at Haywire as they were hosting their cowgirl dinner including Caesar salad, steak, house fries and a martini (lemon drop) for $30. Usually, food at Haywire is exceptionally good. Tonight, perhaps due to the mass production of the cowgirl dinner, the quality of the food was sub-optimal. The steak was rubbery and hard to eat (only ate one piece). The fries were cold when initially served and the replacement fries were not hot either. The Cesar salad served was not at all like the ceasar salad normally served at Haywire (lettuce was not fresh and crisp). Net, net, I ate very little of my food. I have decided at this stage of my life, if the food is not good, I will not force myself to eat it. The lemon drop martini was nicely prepared and enjoyable to drink. We also ordeedr the crab dip which was nicely prepared. Sergio, our server, occasionally came to our table to check on us, but not to the level that servers at Haywire normally do. The best part of the meal was visiting with my friend.

The restaurant has a fun cowboy themed ambiance and the service was outstanding. Shelly went out of her way to make sure we had an excellent experience. The slow cooked chicken was very tender and the chicken fried chicken had good flavor as well - Brussels sprouts are a great side to add in too

This was my first time here and Y'all, everything was great! The service, food and vibe all hit tha spot! I did make a resy for 3 at 6:30p on a Thursday. Because they do get busy. Our server was training a new server and they did such a great job together. Attentive ,friendly, and knowledgeable. She recommended a Cabernet and it was so good! We started with the pita crab dip and I really liked it. Not fishy at all. Great mushroom and crab flavor. I was happy to learn that you can order side versions of the salads with your dinner. So I had the side house salad and it was absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed the honey dressing. I also ordered the metal Dinner. The the flavor was good but I don't think I will order it again. I like traditional metal and this was not it. The meatloaf was molded and looked like it came out of a TV dinner. Just my opinion. I did ask for ketchup because it comes with a verde. Again, good flavor just not traditional. Anywho, them we got to dessert! The server brought out a complimentary bread pudding dessert since we were celebrating birthdays. That bread pudding and ice cream was the star!!! Delicious!!! All that to say, I'm glad I tried Haywire! We had a great experience and will be back to try more from the menu.

I meant to write this review a while back. This place is great! Our server was extremely nice and I love her NJ accent. She was super informative about what menu options would be more accommodating for my food allergy. I loved the ambience in this location and the bar staff were super friendly too. One guy was training and the manager corrected him nicely about a mistake he made on somebody else's drink order. The martini was super tasty! 9/10!!!

Haywire is offering a lovely special for the month of March in honor of international women's day! The special was a play on the viral "girl dinner" trend and Hayward's version is steak, mini caesar, fries and a lemon drop ($30) myself and two friends came tonight to catch up and enjoy what was supposed to be a good meal. Let's start with the good. This place is beautiful and very well decorated! Wonderful place for a date night or meeting friends. Now onto the food. To be honest it was awful. The steak was rubbery and didn't taste like real meat.. the fries were good but so are McDonald's fries. I would be concerned if even the fries weren't made well...The salad was not fresh. On top of that our waiter was rude. The lemon drop arrived to me less than half way full although it was good. I can see the potential, but it's so shameful that service was crummy and the food I tried tonight was lackluster. The menu is expansive and I would come back to try their regular food as one of my friends tried the catfish and her food was actually fresh!

Wow! What an incredible experience at Sixty Vines in The Domain!…read more We made our reservation through OpenTable and mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. When we arrived at our table, we were surprised with a handwritten Happy Anniversary postcard and a beautifully presented gift--such a thoughtful touch that immediately made the evening feel special. Our server, Polina, was absolutely fantastic. She took the time to learn what styles of wine we enjoy and brought us a few samples before helping us choose an amazing wine flight. Her recommendations were spot-on! We also enjoyed a custom charcuterie board and the prosciutto & fig pizza, both of which were outstanding. To top it all off, Andrew, the manager, stopped by our table to make sure everything was perfect. We loved learning about Sixty Vines' unique wine-on-tap program and appreciated their commitment to sustainability, including composting food scraps. (They didn't have much to compost from our table--maybe a bite or two of pizza crust! ) The only disappointing part of the evening was that we had tickets to a show and couldn't stay longer to explore more of their incredible wine selection. That's just another reason we'll definitely be back!

Our waiter was amazing. He was very attentive knew what to recommend and was very nice and a fun person also. This time we started off with a golden beats and let me tell you they were delicious and the cheese that they use at the bottom is just phenomenal. This is definitely something you need to get. We also started off with the muscles and they were delicious. The broth that they were in was so good. You could literally drink it and you just wanted to submerge your bread in it. I also got an espresso martini to wake up because I've been so jetlagged and it was perfect. it was a good balance of the espresso and not sweet. I love that they don't use milk here unlike other places. My mother got the opera spritz and it was delicious. Very well balanced. It was not Avril heavy like some places tend to do. My mother got the Braised pork pasta, and it was divine. This was full of flavor a good amount of sauce not salty. We also got the chefs butcher pizza and it was amazing. I loved that you can tell they make all the ingredients there and the bread is just so good. Also had some kind of sauce on there with some piece of cheese that just balanced it so good. Definitely thanks to this experience. I will say I will keep going back. I'm thinking maybe when I first swim they were just having an off day but now trying the rest of these dishes. They did really good and definitely a place to enjoy when you're at the domain.

Came here on a Friday afternoon to catch up with a friend. Visited here from California as I heard…read morethe hype of this place. Coming in you see so many seating options whether you wanna sit indoors or outdoors, they give you a choice. You go to the front and order your food and pay for it right away and they give you a number so they could bring the food to your table. My friend and I watched ordered an entree and I had to add a drink in to try it. Brisket & Eggs- really good! It was not salty and it was a perfect balance! I ordered mine with a soft scrambled and lowkey I should've gotten the sunny side up eggs. The brisket was moist and not salty like other brisket I have had. Along with the grits on the bottom, it was creamy and light. Overall a great dish. Blood Orange Lalo-ma- on a hot day in Texas, this is a must have! My friend really wanted me to try it and I finally was able to try it. Great customer service and items I would come back again. It's so good!
