I love this place. If you want that classic Americanized Chinese food, this is the place.

I recently stopped by Fujiya Ramen for lunch, and it was exactly the kind of meal I needed on a…read morerainy day. The restaurant has a cozy, peaceful atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable. Around lunchtime there were only a couple of tables occupied, so it was quiet enough to relax and actually enjoy a conversation. The lighting was a little dim, which added to the cozy vibe. The woman helping us was incredibly friendly and provided excellent customer service from the moment we walked in. I ordered chicken soup dumplings, chicken broth ramen, Vietnamese beef pho, a passion fruit green tea with bubbles, and a coconut bubble milk tea. Everything was delicious, and honestly, I would order every single item again. The chicken soup dumplings were my favorite surprise. They were incredibly juicy. On my first bite, some of the broth squirted right out because I wasn't expecting that much flavor packed inside. Paired with the soy sauce and chili sauce, they were absolutely amazing. The chicken broth ramen was rich, comforting, and full of authentic flavor. It was so good that I ordered another bowl to take home for later. The Vietnamese beef pho was equally satisfying, with a flavorful broth that tasted like it had been simmering for hours. Both bubble teas were well-balanced and not overly sweet. The passion fruit green tea was especially refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. The portions were generous, the flavors tasted authentic, and the overall experience reminded me why supporting local restaurants is so much better than grabbing fast food. You can taste the difference in the quality and care that goes into the food. I already know I'll be back. Next time, I have my eye on the steamed buns. If you're looking for a cozy lunch spot, a comforting bowl of ramen, or simply a quiet place to enjoy a great meal, Fujiya Ramen is definitely worth a visit.

The aloo dam was tasty and flavourful, and it would have paired wonderfully with rice or some sort of bread. The veg momos were steaming hot and fresh. The sauces that came with them added a lot of flavour: I'm not sure if I would have enjoyed the momos as much without them. The veg thali came with rice, greens, dal, cauliflower gravy, aloo dam, kheer and pickles. The dal was the standout item. It was my first time trying Tibetan butter tea, and the server warned me that it would be a little salty. The tea had a lovely nutty flavour and thin consistency. I enjoyed it from the perspective of novelty, but I'm not sure if I'll get it again. The server was extremely sweet and service was prompt. The ambience was very pretty, with Tibetan bric a brack and art on the walls. The music was also very soothing. One caveat however is that the food is very, very light and simple, and probably not one immediately thinks of as being "restaurant food" - it has a homemade quality to it. Portions are quite small, and prices are relatively high. Overall, I will return and likely try the chowmein and thukpa.

Restaurant was empty when we walked in for lunch on a weekday. Menu is not expansive but has decent number of options. We got **Thukpa- Nepali noodle soup- this was a bit flavorless, just a lingering taste of tamarind. **fried rice- probably the best dish we ordered but it had a lot of oil. Chicken was overcooked as well. **chow mein- very greasy **chilli chicken- sweet and spicy, I didn't enjoy the sweetness. It had some crunchy veggies. **veggie momos- avoid them if possible. The filling was somehow just not apt for the momo. Overall, the food was greasy, quantities were pathetically less.
