Hash Kitchen Arcadia

Pure. American. Gluttony. We got sat immediately around noon on a Monday, but the place was pretty packed. Service was good, food was decent but pretty bland. Shared the poutine hash and carnitas hash. They both were lacking in flavor and fairly dry; I asked for more gravy for the poutine hash because of this and was charged for it on our bill. The Bloody Mary bar was actually underwhelming... no real interesting toppings in it. The portions were unnecessarily enormous. If you wanted to share one dish between two people, you would not leave hungry. I would have preferred portions to be maybe 60-70% of their size and have better ingredients and flavors to them. I did not enjoy throwing away 30% of my meal because I was too full... it's one of those meals you instantly regret because of the portion size. Coffee was too weak and didn't have any flavor. I did appreciate the large mugs for coffee. Vibe: millennials (my party included). Pretty much all millennials. Loud. Busy. Would recommend as a destination for a bachelor/bachelorette party... definitely going after the party vibe here. read more

This place is so cool! Right when you walk in, you're taken aback. Super hip vibe. Come do Los Angeles, please! They've got a DJ playing current hits and a do it yourself Bloody Mary bar! The build your own Bloody Mary is $13 and you choose which flavored vodka, salt, and tomato juice you want with the bartender. Then, you go around to the toppings and pick whatever you want. They even had delicious meatballs, bacon and fried raviolis! So much fun. Service was awesome. I don't like syrup and asked for no syrup drizzle on my fried chicken and waffles. The waitress clearly heard and understood but the food came w/ syrup. The waitress handled it so nicely and professionally. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. This place was the bomb dot com. We came on a Saturday morning and we had placed our name down for a table for three. We scouted out a place at the bar to wait until then. Good thing we did because we were able to sit, drink, and eat before our table was ready. Although it was busy, it did not seem crowded. We were greeted right away and the bartender was always checking on us. I definitely recommend the mimosa flight. The food was awesome! I loved the avocado toast and it was super filling. I would recommend this place to others and hope to come back next time when I visit. read more

I wasn't sure about this place at first because I thought every dish would be an overwhelmingly amount of food but I ordered the most delicious, perfect breakfast dish - Cristina's Tamale Cakes - SO GOOD! By far the best Benedict I've ever had. The corn cake paired so perfectly with the egg and green chili pork. When I was done I wanted to eat it all over again. The Bloody Mary bar was excellent! I've never seen anything like it. Amazing! The prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality of food. A group of 4 of us went at 11:30 ish on a Saturday and we only had to wait 30 minutes. I'll definitely be back! read more

This place had CRAZY wait times but the food and experience makes it make sense. The dj was amazing, we visited on a Sunday and they had the best set list. The food was amazing and their oversized drinks was wild. The billionaire bacon was soo god and the fruit tray was drizzled with honey and just finger licking good. Everything was amazing , the pancakes the French toast the drinks. If you are in Phoenix I def say check this place out everything is beyond good ! read more

We've been there several times but the last time your hostess was very rude. I had called in advice to ask what would be a good time to arrive for a party of 8 to 10 people. I was told any time before 9:30 and there wouldn't be a long wait. Apparently whoever answered the phone gave me incorrect information. You must come before 9:00. The DJ that day was playing good music but it was extremely loud. Perhaps he could turn it down a notch. read more

Worth the wait but beware it may take a while for the service as well. The food runner spilt syrup all over the bachelorette ruining her clothes and leaving a sticky mess! The manager was sweet and helped clean it off then supplied a new shirt. The food was the delicious! Get the banana French toast it is amazing ! Everyone also loved the chicken and waffles. From out of town, in Phoenix visiting family. My sister took me here. 8:15 a.m. on a Tuesday and mostly empty. Filled up quite a bit while we were there. Service was fine, a bit slow on the back end with the bill. Lots of fun stuff on the menu. Just about everything coming out of the kitchen got an ooh and an aah and someone taking a picture. We started with the basic Bloody Mary (they have a build your own bar!) and they were delicious. For breakfast, my sister got the avocado toast hash style. Hers came with thick cut bacon, braised pork, eggs of your choice, bacon jam and other goodies. It came on thick cut brioche, so thick my sister thought it overwhelmed everything else. I ordered the braised green chili pork & grits hash with fried potatoes, poached eggs and pickled onions. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this. One of the best breakfast dished I've ever had. read more

Trendy, breakfast/brunch and lunch spot. Expect to wait 30+ minutes on weekends for a table. Came in for brunch on a Sunday, the restaurant was jam packed! It seems like the servers have A LOT of tables to serve, yet it makes the customers wait for someone to attend to them. A few girls and I had to wait about 10-15 mins for our server to come acknowledge us. Finally after some time, she took our drink and meal orders. The manager came by to make sure someone took our order since we were sitting there with an empty table. We were just waiting patiently for our water and other drinks we ordered. The hostess came by and gave us water, she felt bad that no one stopped by yet. We ordered the fried chicken skillet, huevos rancheros and breakfast burrito. They accidentally put in for two fried chicken skillets so we had to wait for the other one again. The food is average here, but the service was not up to par for the pricing on the food. read more

Everything about Hash Kitchen screams brunch and I absolutely love all the details that make Has Kitchen what it is. From the décor, open layout, live music, bloody mary bar and mimosa flights, Hash Kitchen does brunch right. I was lucky enough to score a table for my sister and myself at brunch-hour on a Sunday with no wait at all. We started with mimosas which were pretty tasty but I wish I would have checked out the bloody mary bar after I saw people sitting next to us with all kinds of fun skewers popping out of their glasses. We loved the food but be warned, the servings are GINORMOUS. I had the breakfast bowl which was nothing short of amazing and a generous try of the pulled pork avocado toast that my sister ordered. Everything was delicious and our server was so sweet and attentive. Hash Kitchen is one of my new fav brunch spots! read more

First off, this bloody Mary bar is the largest I have ever seen! I am not personally a bloody Mary fan, but if I did, this would be the place to go for it. Everything you could possibly think of to put in a bloody, they have it. And then some! That was the first thing I noticed when i walked in the door. They sat us in the middle of the restaurant that was packed. This place is obviously popular. The menu is a bit overwhelming. There are a ton of choices and after seeing some dishes come out of the kitchen, I knew I was going to have to share a dish with my husband. The portions were huge! I had heard about the lights out mimosa and of course, had to try it. It is served in a giant light bulb with boba floating inside and cotton candy on top, and 'garnished' with a giant pinwheel. Yes, it is as crazy as it sounds. I couldn't finish it, it was so big. My husband had to try the boozy cereal flight. It was such a fun way to make cocktails. For our meal, we shared the huevos racheros hash and we didn't even get half way through it between the two of us. The food was okay compared to the drinks. For something with a bunch of ingredients, it didn't really have much flavor. Another fun thing about this place, they have a DJ during brunch. Jamming out to some 90's music, sipping on a giant mimosa and reading all of the cool stuff they have on their walls. That was me. This is a fun place for brunch for sure. read more

Very disappointed! They weren't busy at all more than enough staff! We ordered drinks, but our waitress was too busy visiting with her friend to delivery them to us! I eventually went and picked up the drinks at the counter, since they've were sitting there for a while! Eggs Benedict were interesting! Very fun brunch! The menu is bomb, the drinks and flights are unique and the decor in the area is very modern chic. My knock for one star was the 24k bacon appetizer. I didn't see any gold on there and it was soggy and fatty - for $16 it was really underwhelming and my date and I just ate a few pieces and left the rest on the plate. Oh my gosh I think I found my new favorite brunch place!!!! The portion sizes for this restaurant were HUGE and everything was delicious!!!!! The restaurant has a trendy feel and louder music which was fine by us but could dictate if this restaurant is the right location for your brunch!! I got the Egg McMuffin breakfast sandwich and there was no way I could finish it! It came with two hash brown patties on top as well as a side of French fries!!! My husband got the Flintstone Turkey Hash which made his day! It's normally available on Saturday and Sunday only but since we went on Labor Day Monday they still had it available!!! This is the first restaurant that we've found that will serve the whole turkey leg!! Definitely a win!!! They also had a beautiful Bloody Mary bar with every topping you could think of! I've never written a review for a restaurant before but this place was worth it!! Such a cool vibe I can only imagine how it gets on the weekends. My friends and I had some drinks at the bar and decided to order some food also. The carnitas skillet was BOMB!!!! The bartender was a cool dude who gave some good banter between me and my friends we were laughing the whole time! He talked up the carnitas skillet and it definitely didn't disappoint. Only reason for 4 stars is because the Bloody Mary was a little too thick for my taste. For a place who really tries to sell you on the bloody Marys it tastes a little too much like a store bought mix. But everyone's opinion is different I guess. First off, I was actually excited about coming here. It's always incredibly packed during the weekend, so my husband and I were excited to finally try this place. My first impression was clean, modern, fun and thought boy the food is gonna be delicious! Menu, although overwhelming felt it was interesting. As I read about a few items and prices on their menu, I figured these were big plates and portions would be generous. Nope. The "Boring Benedict" was just that... boring. I genuinely thought that the name was just to throw you off and they'd surprise you with a sight for sore eyes and a hungry tummy. I am no chef, but if there was one thing I expected out of this plate, were the English muffins to be nicely toasted ( McDonald's doesn't fail to toast their English muffin bread, just saying) My hash potatoes were not only room temperature, but they lacked flavor. It wasn't just a "boring" Benedict, but a very sad one. My husband had the avocado toast. He had a very hard time figuring out how to eat it. That thing was ginormous, it looked like two eggs sitting on top of two large bricks. Also, for the price you'd think they'd be more generous with their avocado. Overall, our server was very nice and attentive, that was probably the most pleasant part about our experience. We were expecting the food to be the best part though. read more

I was so excited to try this place when we moved back to the area, and maybe my expectations were too high, but I wasn't overly impressed. It's an instagram paradise and the coolest atmosphere, so I get that, but I think they know their food can be mediocre because the ambience is so top notch. Don't plan on having a conversation with anyone at your table with the music being so loud but if you're here to drink and hang, it's the perfect place. The food for us was OK. We were excited to try the donuts as an appetizer (they didn't come out until after the meal, I think they forgot) but they were cold and dry. The avocado toast was super messy and very hard to eat, kind of bland. We also ordered a scrambler (can't remember the exact name) but definitely missing any and all flavor. PLAN ON WAITING if you come on a weekend.. and by waiting, I mean like a 2+ hour wait. They don't take reservations & I know they shut down their online waitlist for the time-being so try to go during the week if possible otherwise plan a 3-4 hour weekend adventure (unless they open back up their online wait list). Overall, it's a great vibe but food is meh. read more

Worst Hash Kitchen in the valley and I love Hash Kitchen usually . Yesterday me and 4 other ladies went to Hash Kitchen on Indian School and had strange service and horrible tasting mimosas. Three of the people in my party ordered the mimosa flights and each person found the orange flavored mimosa in their flight extremely undesirable. We notified our server and she said there is nothing they can do to fix the problem and they could not replace with another flavor. We asked for a manager and she came over and basically told us that we were S.O.L. Next, our server was the most inattentive server I've had in years. She gave us the feeling we were bothering her. She delivered our food and never returned to ask did we need anything. We were able to get her attention and asked for some condiments which we never received and those that had questions at the menu were given dismissive and vague answers. Based on our interaction with the manager I have deduced that managerial staff at this location has tainted the atmosphere /service and there is a huge disparity between the service on Indian School and the Chandler location. I was very disappointed in my experience in this particular Hash Kitchen and it left a bad taste to me about all the others. read more

The smoked brisket Benedict is the standout. The brisket is tender with a deep, smoky flavor. The eggs are perfectly poached, and when everything comes together on the English muffin base, it hits that rich, savory-sweet balance without feeling too heavy. The French toast is Thick-cut and caramelized on the edges, without being overly sugary. It's well-complemented by fresh fruit and just enough syrup so it doesn't turn into dessert overload too early in the day. Overall, Brunch Snob feels like a spot that knows how to do comfort brunch.

Great Group Dining Experience, But Reservations Are Highly Recommended…read more I recently visited Brunch Snob with my fitness group after our weekend session. For anyone planning a visit, please be aware that the wait times can be significant if you do not have a prior reservation. Fortunately, our large party of over 10 guests was able to utilize an indoor corner space to wait comfortably until our table was ready. Once we were seated, the service was excellent. The staff was incredibly patient and attentive while managing a table of our size. The food and beverage options were generally well-received, though there were a few minor details to note. One guest mentioned that the options for mimosa flights were somewhat limited. On the food side, my order of the Mexican Cowboy Bowl was excellent and prepared exactly as expected. While most of our group's orders were correct, one eggs Benedict arrived overcooked despite a specific request during ordering to avoid this. Given the size of our party, the guest chose to accept the dish rather than send it back. Billing Tip: For transparency, an automatic 20% gratuity was included in the final bill for our large group. I recommend double-checking your receipt to keep this in mind before adding any additional tips. Overall, it is a great brunch destination with quality dishes, but making a reservation ahead of time is highly advisable.

The interior is pretty long with a large number of seating inside the building so we had no trouble getting seated right away by the hostess. We decided on food relatively quickly due to previous experience with the business, however, our waiter never came around to take our orders or even give us water at the table. We saw one girl with dyed hair who unassumingly could have been our waiter since she was in our section but only worked with one particular table and ran to the back after each time, but never addressed our table or came by. We eventually had to flag a different waiter down who was able to help us place the order and service us for the rest of our visit, she also informed us that this other "Waiter" was supposed to help us but she wasn't sure why she never made an attempt to do so after having us wait 20 mins and other tables were being serviced. We ordered Flordian French Toast and Elote Breakfast Burrito (plus a couple sides and drink) which were both really good, and filling. Prices weren't too bad for what we ordered and was able to take our mind off of the rather long wait to get helped. Not sure if we'll come back to this particular location again, but it was nice trying the restaurant out another time.

A little breakfast surprise tucked into my morning routine! I stopped by Hash Kitchen Arcadia after an early doctor's appointment since I was already in the area, and I'm so glad I did. I was just looking for a quick takeout option, but this turned into such a delicious little breakfast find. I ordered the Chicken Chilaquiles with eggs, and it was absolutely satisfying! The flavors held up beautifully even during the drive home, which is always a win when you're taking food to go. Nothing worse than getting home and your meal has lost its magic -- but this one traveled like a champ. The service was another highlight. Everyone was super friendly, welcoming, and impressively quick, making my stop easy and stress-free. Next time, I definitely need to come back and experience the full Hash Kitchen vibe because those fun, over-the-top beverages were calling my name! I'll just have to plan that visit when I'm not on Littles duty... because I have a feeling those drinks deserve my full attention. To start, let's talk about the Bloody Mary bar. It was absolutely amazing! The selection of toppings and mix-ins was top-notch, and the bartenders were incredibly helpful and friendly. I appreciated being able to customize my drink exactly to my liking. It was the perfect way to kick off my brunch. Now, let's get to the main attraction - the birria tacos. These were hands down some of the best tacos I've ever had! The meat was tender and juicy, and the spices were perfectly balanced. The homemade tortillas were the perfect vessel for the flavorful filling. I also appreciated that the tacos were served with a side of consommé for dipping, which added another layer of flavor to the already delicious tacos. I would definitely recommend Hash Kitchen to anyone looking for a fantastic brunch experience in Phoenix. From the Bloody Mary bar to the birria tacos, everything was on point. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. I can't wait to come back and try more items from their menu! read more

We recently celebrated my sister's birthday with a family brunch at this restaurant, and while the overall vibe was enjoyable--definitely a nice atmosphere for a special occasion--there were several issues that detracted from our experience. To start, the customer service left much to be desired. Our waiter was not only slow in bringing drinks but also seemed rather rude throughout our meal, which put a damper on the celebration. We had to send back three plates of food due to them being undercooked, which is quite unusual for us, as we typically try to make the best of our meals. However, undercooked food is a serious concern and cannot be overlooked. I decided to try the potato tacos, but I was frankly disappointed. The tacos were soggy with an insufficient amount of potatoes, making them quite unappetizing. Overall, while the occasion was special, the combination of poor service and food quality didn't quite meet our expectations. I hope they can improve these aspects for future diners. read more

We made a reservation over a month in advance for a group of 12 to celebrate a graduation, expecting a smooth and enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, it was anything but. Despite our confirmed reservation, we were not seated until 30+ minutes later because the staff refused to ask the previous party--who were well past their time limit--to vacate the table. Every 15 minutes, we were told it would be "just a little longer," only to be pushed back again and again. The staff were dismissive and unprofessional, showing little regard for our occasion or the inconvenience we were facing. On top of that, the music was blasting with a dj so loud that we could barely hear each other speak making the atmosphere feel more like a nightclub than a restaurant. This was supposed to be a special celebration, but instead, it was one of the most frustrating dining experiences we've ever had. We would not recommend this place to anyone looking for reliable service or a respectful dining environment. read more

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this fantastic brunch spot in Arizona after a morning walk at Hole in the Rock, and I have to say, I was blown away by the experience. From the cozy ambiance to the friendly service, everything about this place was top-notch. But let's talk about the food, because that's what really stole the show for me. I ordered the Tortellini Carbonara Hash, and it was nothing short of magnificent. Coffee, service, menu options and creativity, management follow-through. Phewww! Golden hour, baaaayybeee…read more I had a 3+ hour dinner with friends and have zero regrets on everything we ate, drank, and did at the restaurant. ;) We started with golden hour drinks on the rooftop patio overlooking Piestewa Peak (and a mall). Then we made our way downstairs for a Medi-inspired feast! Wine was flowing and we ate everything--from raw oysters and tuna crudo, to chicken and salmon kebobs and roasted carrots, broccolini, olive oil whipped potatoes, and burnt basque cheesecake... Shout out to our server Jeffrey who took great care of us. I'd def go back. Highly rec.

He said that it would be no problem he just needed a few minutes to set something up. We ordered a couple of appetizers which arrived quick and piping hot and some drinks. If you don't drink alcohol I suggest the peach and Red Bull drink. My Aunt had some questions on the menu, our server Rich said, no problem just give me a minute and I'll go over things with you. We had an assortment of delicious food including some tacos, burgers, and the Poke bowl. Our food looked exceptional and everone's dishes were tasty. When we were done my Uncle asked for the check. Rich whispered to him that a birthday dessert was coming out. Then the most amazing bread pudding arrived with a candle! My sister was drooling. We asked if he could sing. He said, oh trust you don't want that! Hysterical guy. I'm not really a big review person, but I know summers can be slow for restaurants so many of them can use positive press to attract diners. We really couldn't have asked for more from our experience. 5 stars, great job.

The patio space also has outdoor misters and is heavily shaded which aids during the summer heat. We were quickly greeted and were given the option for indoor or outdoor seating without a reservation on a Friday evening. We were told the menu had recently been updated so I've attached updated photos. The food was good - but nothing too special. The steak frites had a sauce that was very flavorful but perhaps a bit heavy on the balsamic. We also ordered the happy hour BBQ sliders which has delicious and soft toasted buns, but the pork was overly sauced in my opinion.

Went there on a Saturday morning. There was a little bit of a wait, but not too. Had a wonderful waiting area to sit with great vibes great music. Lively atmosphere. Being in Arcadia Neighbourhood, you see a mix of people. Everything from hipsters, to aunties and uncs, and people looking like they just left the set of Pop the Balloon or Find Love. As for the food, I had the catfish and grits. The catfish was cooked perfectly, well seasoned. Hot crispy fresh. The grits were a bit lacking as they were pretty runny but overall a good bite. Other people in my party got a short rib hash said it was delicious. The French toast and the pancakes are not anything different than what you get at any other high-end brunch spot. Prices of what you expect for a place like this, but all in all I would recommend.

They do have valet parking at this establishment or you can park on the side street about two blocks away for free. We opted to just park two blocks away. On this occasion, our server was very sweet. She was also a cancer zodiac sign, so very nurturing and she insured that we had a great experience. For food I have no complaints. I really enjoyed the grits and catfish and also a birthday pancake that was given to me by the establishment. I thought that was a really nice gesture, and it was delicious. The vibe and the food for this establishment is five stars. What I take issue with is the lack of glassware. I think if you're gonna offer sparkling wine or mimosas or even champagne, you should have the proper stemware. I thought that the mimosa flights came off very low brow and there was no way I was drinking out of what looked like glass baby bottles. When asked for a wine stem glass, they didn't have any. And I actually believe the server which they need to do better IKEA is not that far you can get some wine glasses. This is essential. I did also see that they had some upgraded bottles for bubbles and I wish I would've saw that on a menu as I would've purchased an upgrade it Prosecco or champagne. However, I would've been livid if I purchased an upgraded bottle and had to drink out of thick cognac glasses. Anyway, I would come back here, but I just think they need to do better on the actual glassware. It would elevate this establishment.

I was meeting friends for brunch on the back patio and they have loads of seating and misters even if it's 100 outside. We had their boozy brunch which consisted of a large champagne or AZ beer and an entree (like 10 to choose from) for $17. It was such a good deal and such a good meal! The avocado toast was so good and the crispy potatoes were delicious as well. I'm a sucker for breakfast potatoes so these hit the spot. Can't wait to go back for another brunch! I'm not sure if this was an innocent mistake or part of systematic fraud (no way to tell), but it left a very bad taste in my mouth.
