This Hardee's location that I am reviewing is by far the best Hardee's that I have visited. This is because the food, service, and environment was outstanding is many ways! I shall start off by talking about this Hardee's location's food. It offers a variety of sandwiches, such as the Frisco Burger, Western Bacon Cheeseburger, and more. All of their sandwiches provide an almost heavenly experience, as all of them are cooked well, and are unique when compared to other establishment's burgers. Next, the service at this eatery was fantastic! My food was served rapidly and came with a smile, additionally, the employees respected us, and took pride in their culinary masterpieces that they constructed for their patrons. In addition, the employees instantly cleaned my table the minute that I had departed from the restaurant. Finally, the ambiance inside of the restaurant was pleasing. Like I had mentioned, the employees were fast at cleaning the restaurant, and the music playing was not ear bleeding, and provided a wonderful ambiance to my feast. In addition, the artwork on the wall provided a wonderful sight to see while I was eating my meal, which was in addition to the large window which allowed for an epic view of the outside. Overall, this Hardee's location's has outstanding food, fantastic service, and a striking ambiance that makes me want to return to this fine establishment again! read more

We went through the drive thru and ordered numerous items including 2 apple turnovers. Was told it would be 7 minutes for them. I said no problem because there was another car ahead of us. When we got to the window it had been almost 9-10 minutes. The employee then told me that they just dropped them in the fryer. I said why didn't you tell them when I first placed the order. She said she did but didn't think they heard her. I told her to forget it now because my other food would end up getting cold. I asked to speak to the manager and the probably 16-year-old manager said he didn't know anything about it because he was busy cleaning. Maybe he should have been at the front of the store to make sure things are taken care of. He said they probably didn't hear her because it's loud back there. No excuse I was extremely mad to say the least. Then when we got home the food tasted old and the buns were dry and crumbly. I will never go back there again. read more

My go to is Hardee's Mushroom and Swiss burger. Takes me back to the 80's when the West Bend resturant opened.

This is the last Hardee's in Milwaukee county. Located on Layton Avenue in Saint Francis WI near the airport. Service is always friendly, fast and efficient. The food is wonderful and there is a large variety on the menu from breakfast through dinner. Go to favorites. Besides, their burgers are the roast, beef, ham and cheese, and hand breaded chicken tenders. Please show your support to this family owned local franchise. read more

This was my first time here and I'm complete blown away! The staff were absolutely amazing, they were so friendly and even offered items on the menu that they thought me and my kids would like. I never got treated like this in any food establishment, I stay in Milwaukee but I would definitely come back here. Just off of today alone you guys got a customer for life. read more

1 star is about 3/4 stars more than what this fast food restaurant deserves! They can't get an order right at all, 3 people in my group all ordered double burgers, 2 Double Cheeseburgers and 1 Mushroom/Swiss Double burger -- all wrong. All ordered "no mustard and no pickles" and all 3 had plenty of mustard and pickles, can easily get rid of pickles but not so easy to get rid of mustard when it is spread on the cheese! And the amount of salt on those 3 burgers and fries could easily be spread on the freeways around Milwaukee and clean ice off each road, unbelievable the amount of salt. This restaurant must have a contract with a nearby Cardiac Care center with all the patients they are probably sending in. At least now I know why there is never anyone in that restaurant, shame because at one time Hardee's was actually pretty good for fast food! Oh well, lesson learned read more

Update: this place is going down hill; the last few times I have stopped in, the dining area is not clean, sticky floor, and the condiment bar just looks terrible like it hasn't been cleaned since opening. I upgraded my meal to a medium, the portion size was unchanged. I feel that the quality of the food has diminished, or it is possible that my taste changed; either way I'm going to have to call it quits with this fast food restaurant. read more

The restaurant itself was clean and there's a children's play area, but I didn't went in so I don't know how it was like. The staff was nice and friendly, didn't take long for the staff to get the food out to me nice and hot. Would definitely come again read more

This restaurant has The BEST personnel! They Always get the Order Correct, quickly, and with a pleasant attitude! If these people ever had a 'Bad Day" as we all do, you'll never know it! After they honor my coupon(s ), they have even given them back to me for future use! I don't know of Any other restaurants that do that. They Never have a problem with special requests. Friendly, Helpful, Pleasant and Couteous describes them Perfectly. I have been going to this establishment since they opened and I'm Never diappointed. OK, I'm not that into Yelping fast food places, but I really felt like it was time for this place. I stop in here about twice a month to pick up a Hardee's breakfast platter. I've never been a big Hardee's fan, but I love breakfast, and it's the closest breakfast fast food to home. First the breakfast platter. You get a small portion of the hash rounds, a scrambled egg patty, a biscuit, and your choice of bacon, sausage, or ham. Along with the biscuit also comes a big bowl of country sausage gravy. In comparison to say McDonalds Big Breakfast, it's good. But, alongside any breakfast plate at even the worst diner, it's pretty basic. I prefer the bacon, but it is literally three thin slices that they give you. The sausage has a strange taste, in my opinion, and I haven't tried the ham. Most of the employees in the morning are very friendly, almost overly friendly sometimes. It's that almost fake friendliness that's hard to describe. Well today, I had the exact opposite. A rude, carefree guy who seemed bothered by the fact that I was there. Made me appreciate the friendly employees quite a bit more. They also have this strange "suggestive selling" pitch that they throw out on the drive thru speaker before you've gotten the opportunity to order your food. It goes something to the sense of "Thank you for stopping at Hardee's, would you like to try a (insert special item of the day/week)? Go ahead with your order." So, my problem with that is, if you are going to suggestively sell something, why don't you give people the opportunity to buy it before you move on to what they really want. Again, I only come here out of convenience. It's definitely not the food or customer service that brings me back. read more

Got there at 1:33pm and the drive thru said sorry we are closed even though their sign said open until 2pm. Drove 20 mins there just to get my kids lunch because this is the closest location. Smh read more

They not only don't wear masks, but the employees are rude to customers. I will (and recommend you do too) avoid this place from now on. They don't care about us, or the hospital employees they are putting at risk by possibly infecting others. read more

Hardee's in the Milwaukee area has nearly vanished. There used to be a bunch of them, even with playlands, but we're down to just a few locations now. This location has a very large playroom, with some play equipment and coin operated video games. The play equipment is suited mostly to smaller kids, and includes some floor-level tubes ideal for the smallest kids. There's a toddler slide, and the upper level is quite small but okay for a few kids. Good for hide and seek. More generally, the facility is kept in good shape, though it has a feeling of being old, and a feeling of probably having been due for a remodel a few years back. The food at Hardee's seems to be evolving towards fare that isn't particularly healthy, but you can still eat reasonably well if you're careful. So, good playland for younger kids. read more

One of the few, if not only Hardee's in the Milwaukee Metro area. My fiance had a craving for a frisco breakfast sandwich so we took the drive down to this location. Nothing to complain about, nothing to speak highly about. It's your typical hardee's / Fast food resturant. read more

Just grabbed a quick lunch at this Hardee's. I was grossed out when I saw someone spit into a garbage can. Then I saw that same person walk behind the counter. Turns out it was a Hardee's employee. I will have to think twice about going back to that store. read more

I'm not from Wisconsin my family just moved here and I haven't had Carl's Jr. ( aka Hardee's) in a while I was so excited to go over the weekend which I did on Sunday because it's been a long time I don't usually eat out and I ordered a famous star with only lettuce and cheese of course . I can't eat tomato just a condition I have doesn't allow me it makes my body react and I'm allergic to ingredients in mayonnaise so I order my stuff plain I leave and don't check my order until getting to my destination and I got instead of a famous star with only lettuce I got a super star double pattie with everything on it . I'm allergic to certain things that I couldn't even eat it I had to just throw it away the burger was DRENCHED! In Mayo it's ridiculous I was very upset all I ate were fries we basically threw money away . Many of you might not see it as a issue but when you come from Cali and you never eat out and your excited to eat there since it's been like a year and all you get is dissatisfied it really does suck I was expecting this to be my spot but I guess not. I haven't been to Hardee's in a while. What the heck happened? It is completely different, and I mean that in a good way. I'm not too crazy about beef of any kind and they offer a very tasty turkey burger served on a whole wheat bun. I'm not saying that I'm a health nut, because they also have the most delicious battered onion rings and deep fried apple turnovers. They have Coke Zero, woohoo! When I decide to drive across town about 20 minutes out of my way for fast food, you could say I am a fan. I miss Hardee's, they used to be more of them and they were closer. I am totally addicted to the Big Hot Ham & Cheese, that is the only thing I eat there other than the occasional breakfast sandwich which are awesome too. This Hardee's in St Francis is great. The staff are super friendly and the place is always very clean. They bring your food out to your table unlike other fast food type restaurants and they kind of "wait" on you like other wait staffed places. I recommend you give it a try if you have not stopped in. They have a large menu selection from roast beef to chicken to ham to turkey burgers and their own burger selections that are huge! Do the Monster burger if you feel like getting a weeks worth of calories, salt and fat all in one burger......it's soooo worth it. Yum!
