This seemed like a nice little neighborhood bar and at 3 in the afternoon it was almost empty. We had the Groupon, $26 in food and drinks for $10.00, nice! We had burgers, onion rings a spotted cow and a blue moon. Our food came up quickly and was delicious. Burgers were cooked med rare, just as requested, with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and raw onion. o-rings were large and had a good crunch. We did notice there was patio seating but it was a little cool so we sat inside. Get your Groupons while they are still onsale read more

I had to give this place another try because I felt my first breakfast dish/experience was probably not the norm by looking at the reviews and the pictures. I really like the neighborhood bar doing 7am breakfast on weekends experience because my neighborhood doesn't have anything like this. The foreign bartender with the the music to my ears accent did a wonderful job taking care of me. The spicy Bloody Mary is always a treat with breakfast here. This time I ordered the lakeside egg burger rare with hash browns mixed with onions. The burger came with a over easy cooked egg so some yoke spills out. The burger was cooked perfectly rare and the bun was fresh and soft, the burger meat and the buns are sourced locally. Today's breakfast was definitely better than my last and it's probably going to be an occasional breakfast stop. read more

I have been a dedicated patron of this fine establishment for years now. The potato skins are so delicious, and the ranch is out of this world, however, I came here on a Sunday afternoon, pretty empty inside. Thought it would be a quick and delicious meal. I was wrong. It took an hour for our order to come, and it was completely wrong. Had to wait even longer the second time. My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day has been ruined read more

Clean, friendly, fast and priced well. It's best experienced as a breakfast stop. Never had a bad experience here.

Food is great! Service is spot on. It can get a bit noisy at times. Saturday and Sunday breakfast menu is fantastic! read more

Second time here. First time service was great and food was 7/10. That was about one year ago. This go around they had a limited menu due to having a chef / staff shortage. They usually have some smoked food and bbq options. Ended up with the Buffalo chicken wrap which was really good except they left the food sitting under the warmer for 20 minutes after we had already waited 20 minutes. Then forgot the actual Buffalo sauce. It was very good though. The space is large, clean, and they have a unique counter height bar with stools on one side. The bartender was very friendly. I'll give this joint one last try before I likely won't go back willingly. read more

Had the blue gill fish fry which I really enjoyed, they do offer perch and cod also. The clam chowder that came with the fish dinner was the best I've had anywhere!! There was actually calm meat and a generous portion of it. All other places that have clam chowder never seem to have much of any clam in it. If you like Clam chowder than you know what I'm talking about. read more

Disappointed in their $16.00 fish fry. Not very good. Much better local fish fry's. My review is too short to post so here goes. I really did not like this fish fry which was way over priced! read more

I've ordered a number of times since the pandemic. Thankfully they messed up the order today and I had to go in to have it corrected. If that didn't happen I wouldn't have known they have 0 masking and 0 social distancing going on from customers and only 1 server with a mask. From what I could tell the kitchen staff was properly wearing masks but the rest of the place is a cesspool of COVID. I sympathize with all the hardship local restaurants have endured but it just feels like this one flat out stopped caring. Bye for good. read more

Date night with lots of yummy comfort foods and friendly staff and patrons who actually said hello when we entered! Customized combo plate of eggplant, mushrooms, and onions rings. Generous portions for the hearty appetite x4 easily. Hot and tasty with marinara and ranch dips. Since we were getting pretty full after that, we decided to try the boneless wings. And, wow we were pleasantly surprised but the tender large white meat chunks, sufficiently breaded and sauced. Several sauce options with up to 2 flavors per order. Seating near back door was a little chilly so we easily moved to the alcove area and it was perfectly cozy and comfortable. Plenty of tvs to catch all the games. read more

I couldn't decide between a 3 or a 4 star rating here. Truthfully, have this trouble sometimes. Ya know, food is important. Delicious food is important. Most of the bites that I had here were very good. There is something about this restaurant that gives me a good feeling, that it's a hidden gem. You should try their food too! I bet you'll be glad that you did. I ordered delivery through a restaurant delivery service. I can't speak much to the customer service of the restaurant but I will say that they did have any issues or mistakes with my order. Now honey, let's talk about the food. It's Wisconsin and you know how we love our fish frys. I mean, are you really from Wisconsin if you don't eat a fish fry on Fridays? You're pushing it, just a bit. This fish fry was really well done. Tasty, fish was cooked Welland not greasy. The batter and coating had great flavor and a nice crunch. And the potato pancakes and applesauce were really good too, I think that they were homemade. Rye bread was fresh and a nice addition to the meal. I got an order of their famous housemade potato chips which I really enjoyed. The soft pretzel was fine and the cheese that comes with it was a bit disappointing, cheap, processed and slightly spicy. It felt like belonged with nachos rather than a soft pretzel. I'm excited to try more dishes here! I hope that you will too! read more

I've been here twice in my life & the food takes so long to come out it's ridiculous. It's "wing night" there's barely anybody here and I've waited 45 minutes for my wings. Same thing happened last time too. Beyond ridiculous. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice... read more

Lakeside Pub and Grill - Having lots of fun with great friends Here for Lakeside's amazing breakfast - Pubs Near Me - Cudahy, Wisconsin

Three of us went there Friday after Thanksgiving for a nice Fish fry. One Bluegill order with Clam chowder. One haddock with French fries and a Special A chefs ribeye. All simple meals to make! Well not that day: Blue gill dinner came with a Clam chowder that looked delicious with carrots in it. Too bad it was ICE COLD and the potatoes were Rock Hard RAW. I tried one piece of the Bluegill and it was cold and under done! Waite I'll try the potato pancakes ...Ice Cold and not done either! How do you screw up when most of the food is a simple deep fry? Both fish dinners and fries were under done! The chefs ribeye came out with a 1 1/2 chunk of grizzle, why? I've been eating for decades but this was the worst FAIL Ever! Won't go back nor recommend to anyone! read more

Cute place, busy for a Sunday evening. Drinks were made well and consistent! Ashlyn, our server, was spot on, but the kitchen was woefully off. Appetizer sampler of fried zucchini, mushrooms, & frickles was quite tasty and arrived promptly, however our main course got lost along the way. He ordered a Reuben, which he said was awesome, I ordered Brisket Tacos - they arrived cold to the touch, tortilla, brisket, sauce, and slaw all cold. Ashlyn took them back to the kitchen so they could make it right, which they did. Brisket was very tasty, though my personal preference is not to put slaw on it, so next time I'll order differently. I'm giving 3 stars and a chance to improve when we return, because we will come back. read more

Lakeside Pub and Grill - The real 'starters' - Pubs Near Me - Cudahy, Wisconsin

I was in the area and surprised to see a divey pub with a solid 4 stars so I had to check it out. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the expectations. Appetizer sample was a little underwhelming in terms of flavor. I don't like that a lot of places are doing mozzarella sticks like egg rolls. BUT the portion sizes are very generous. We were full halfway through that order. I got a regular cheeseburger that was pretty bland and the fiancé got the cubanita which was also a little bland. Though the food wasn't anything to write home about our server was incredibly nice I probably won't ever return but didn't hate the experience. read more

Do not order for delivery. I ordered potato skins and a chef salad. First of all when my food came the potato skins were not only cold, they were also burnt and forgot the sour cream. Now to the check salad. The hard boiled eggs and cucumbers were missing. Also, thee was no ham. TOO TOP IT OFF THERE WAS TUNA IN THIS SALAD!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT GIVES? There is no tuna on their menu. I was so angry because I was really looking forward to this and it turned out to be a disaster. Very disappointed for sure. Word of advice: Never order this through GrubHub. I had very, very specific delivery instructions and were not met. All in all a very expensive experience for someone on fixed income like me. Well I thought it would be nice to treat myself. I will definitely stay away from this place. I have been in the restaurant about a month ago and it took over an hour to get our fish. I should have know better, however I wanted to be nice and support a local business. read more

Great service and food!!!!! Always come here when in town!!!!! Atmosphere is what I love!!!

Unfortunately my rating and review does not include food. We sat ourselves at an open table, at what they claim is the best patio in Cudahy. The table was absolutely filthy which caused flies all around us. We waited for about 10 minutes with no water, menus, or simple hello from staff. Finally a server came over to tell us she didn't know who had our table and then she walked away. We decided, at that point, to just leave. For beautiful patios in Cudahy, so far, Mexic 103 takes the gold. read more

We had such a disappointing experience at Lakeside. We visited on a weeknight in the evening, and it was a little busy when we arrived. It took an hour to receive food, and by the time it came out, the place was empty. Others had arrived after us, received their food in the meantime, and left. The atmosphere was not very welcoming, and the service was awful. There was no explanation of why our food took so long until over 40 minutes had passed, and we were told the kitchen had run out of burger patties and was pressing more. I believe our server forgot to put in our order; at one point about 30 minutes after she took the order, she put an order into the computer and went into the kitchen and closed the door. A few minutes later was when she came over to tell us the order was delayed. We probably should have known after the first 10 minutes of arriving that the experience wouldn't be good. We finished our first drinks by the time our server returned to take our food order. We then proceeded to wait 40 minutes until she returned to tell us our order was delayed. We tried to catch her attention numerous times to ask, but she didn't even look at our table. In the meantime, we saw several orders come and go for the staff, who were standing around a table eating and chatting. We saw random food go out presumably for regulars; there was a definite feel of us being "outsiders", which maybe contributed to the poor service. In that 40 minutes, we didn't even receive our appetizer of Frickles (fried pickles). When our server returned to tell us the food was delayed, she tried to offer us shots, which we found somewhat inappropriate (she ended up comping two of our drinks, to her credit). At that point we were starving and only wanted an explanation of why our food was taking so long in an empty restaurant. I'm not sure why they couldn't have brought out our appetizer at least, as they were perfectly capable of making appetizers for the staff during this time. An hour later, the Frickles came out, shortly followed a few minutes later by the burgers. The Frickles were okay, but kind of bland without the Sriracha aioli that came with them. The burgers were good and the fries were just okay. While I was still eating, still chewing even, our server came back and took our baskets away without even asking. I don't plan to return, and I would not recommend Lakeside. I'm really disappointed I suggested going there in the first place. read more

Everything I said previously in 2017 but better since they moved to a bigger location a couple years ago. They must have fixed the exhaust fan cuz it doers not and you will not smell like a fryer anymore. read more

Thought based on some reviews to give it a chance. Hoped to learn about Happy Hour specials but our server couldn't help. She was clueless and pointed to signs around. These did indicate nightly food items but not cocktail or beer specials. Next food was ok but didn't arrive hot or even warm except the fries. Our onion rings were crunch and would have been more appetizing if hot or at least warm. Grilled cheese sandwich was good but once again not warm. Hope for better when dining out. read more

My fiancé and I came in for an early lunch with our three kids (8, 2, and 6 months). We came to Milwaukee from Cleveland just to visit and see the area, and we just happened to be driving by Lakeside. It's a very comfortable atmosphere, and the brisket pizza was AWESOME. As in, I'll dream about it, try to recreate it at home, and absolutely suggest it to other people. The salad was a basic chef salad, which was exactly what I wanted, so I've got no complaints! read more

Cool place in the middle of a neighborhood. So you have to park on the side of a busy street, but the food is good, drinks were decent. Staff was very nice. It could use a better billiards area, but they have a few dart machines and a 360 bar, so plenty of seating and TVs. The local memorabilia on the walls gives it a homey vibe. Definitely seemed like a place frequented by the neighbors in the area and some of them didn't seem too friendly. Overall, great place for lunch and dinner. Thumbs up to the staff. read more
