I've seen someone throw away a whole pan of white rice because some brown rice was mixed in and the woman couldn't eat it.

There are a couple of notes on the front door--one mentions that some menu items have an upcharge and recommends asking your waiter for details, while another states that there's an additional charge for using a credit card due to processing fees. It's good to know these things in advance. I do wish the menu listed which items have an upcharge, but I assume the waiter would mention it when ordering. I ordered a "Create Your Own Combo" meal with one quesadilla and rice and beans since I wasn't too hungry (plus, I have a hard time resisting the free chips and salsa). The salsa is nothing special but does the job. We also ordered the Choridip, which was great with the chips and as a topping for our entrees. My husband got the steak fajitas. The food came out quickly and in generous portions, so we had leftovers to take home. Unfortunately, my chicken quesadilla was a bit disappointing--the meat was watery, which made the tortilla soggy. Overall, it's not a bad spot for the price, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

It has improved tremendously and the food is still really good. Give this place a chance if you have tried it in the past and we're disappointed. It's great to have a Mexican restaurant close to my family in Muskego. My brother eats there every day when my sister in law is traveling.

The place is obviously a…read morerepurposed restaurant because it was two dining rooms with a bar and a fire place in the smaller dining room. The colors were tame and not all the bright colors like some Mexican restaurants. The tables and chairs were out of place because they had a country look to them. My server was super friendly and very nice for a very young woman. I was served chips and salsa while waiting for my strawberry margarita. The chips were warm and fresh but not seasoned. The salsa looked horrible because it was a purée but to my surprise it was the most flavorful part of my lunch with a nice garlic flavor. The strawberry margarita was above average because it had booze in it and a deep strawberry flavor that screamed strawberry, thank you. With only my order in the kitchen my food came very quick, the place was empty. I ordered the combination plate with a first for me, chicken in Mexican food for some reason. I had a ground beef taco, chicken enchilada and al pastor tostada with rice/beans. Although the food was good it was Americanized, bland and not seasoned. All the meats were moist I must say. I got the impression that they were cooking for the elderly population in Muskego. Overall if authentic Mexican food is not what your looking for and tame Americanized is your preference than this is the place for you.

We had dinner here Christmas Eve, we made the reservation before reading the terrible Yelp reviews,…read moreso honestly we walked in with low expectations. We had a gift card so we figured now was a good a time as any to try it out. Our drinks & dinner were very good, as was the service, I had the steak fajitas and my table mates each had steak and shrimp combo. Their (complimentary) chips are excellent, fresh out of the fryer & delicious. Honestly everything about our meal was solid and we will gladly return. Not quite sure if we hit this place on a good night or if they've done a major shake up in response to the recent poor reviews, but either way I'm glad to give these guys a 5 out of 5 rating.

Maybe some of the worst restaurant food I have ever had. The rice is very overcooked and hard. The salsa has no flavor. The beans taste like canned baked beans. The waitress mixed up 3 peoples orders and couldnt tell which tacos are which. The food was all bitter and no real flavor profile. One of our margs had a moldy raspberry as a garnish. The cups were super dirty and the table waters had stuff floating in them. The prices are very high for very below average food. The ambiance was ok. Weird that there was 3 people in this big restaurant during the dinner rush, not surprised after eating it. We got charged for everything we ordered even though we didnt get 2 margs and got served moldy and dirty food. Only the chips and the guac were around ok. Would not recommend.
