Maybe 1/4 of the chips with a spicy salsa roja - pretty spicy!

Great first stop here! The prices went up compared to the website ($3/taco) but they were all great. We tried a variety of hard/soft shell tacos and they all had great flavors. They fried their own hard shell corn tortilla and it was super crispy. The chips and salsa are a bit pricey but you get plenty to share! Salsa roja is pretty spicy and the mild tomatillo is almost sweet. Very mild but flavorful. Helpful staff who were really nice and dropped off our order at our table. Great place for tacos - excited to try it again soon!

SO YUMMY! I got takeout of three corn tortilla tacos - two steak and one chicken. The steak was my favorite -- it was so flavorful. The chicken was still tasty, but a little dry. All the toppings are ala carte, which was a little off-putting, but still yummy. Would highly recommend this place! I wish I lived closer!

Muy deliciosa I've got a thing for chilaquiles. This is now my second Stop for the chilaquiles but I could eat these every day. I fact, the order is so huge it covers me for two meals. The only drawback here is service, it's either super great or dismal. I ordered online for pickup one morning while I was in the area. I ended up having to wait over an hour after I arrived because no one showed up for front of house. (The lights were on and staff was in the back, I called and got no answer)

It was enormous. I took half home for my husband.

I just went in for breakfast this morning. I had a taste for something spicy. I ordered the breakfast burrito. Their red sauce is so good! I ordered it with steak. It was delicious. I'm glad I stopped.

I've had Taco Stop on my list for awhile and my husband goes quite often for lunch with his co-workers. Figured now would be a great time to try them while I was working from home due to the pandemic. They don't offer a combination plate, but we ordered enough different items to make our own. The steak tacos were really good, but maybe just a little too much cilantro. The refried beans were really tasty. Overall, I thought the food was pretty solid and I'm sure even better if you get it fresh. Unfortunately, we had to do carry out, but once this all blows over will definitely check them out again.

I thought I would do lunch here today because I was off and they were open, not open on Sundays. This space has been a few different restaurants but a taco spot seems like a good option so far. I have eaten at the other location and I liked it but I noticed the menu as you get to the register now had carnitas in the meat options. Looking over the menu as I wait for my turn I decided on the Al pastor taco $2.75, carnitas taco $2.75 authentic style and the $3 dinner beans and rice so I pull out a $10 and place my order. When I placed my $8.50 order I was charged $11.04 for some reason which didn't match the menu prices at all that I just looked at WTF. The rice was white with corn in it and super boring. The beans were loose but seasoned nicely. The red hot sauce was tasty with some heat and that's how I'm going to save the boring rice, I'm going to mix the beans, rice and hot sauce which made it better. The tacos were nicely stuffed with the Al pastor and carnitas meat and both were tasted before I put hot sauce all over them. The Al pastor was pretty good but the carnitas was my fave with the citrus flavor finish. The tacos were pretty good with the fresh cilantro onion flavors playing well off the meat and hot sauce flavors on the corn tortillas. Overall the tacos were better than average but I probably will not be back because the register doesn't match the menu prices three feet from it on the wall.

We had dinner here Christmas Eve, we made the reservation before reading the terrible Yelp reviews,…read moreso honestly we walked in with low expectations. We had a gift card so we figured now was a good a time as any to try it out. Our drinks & dinner were very good, as was the service, I had the steak fajitas and my table mates each had steak and shrimp combo. Their (complimentary) chips are excellent, fresh out of the fryer & delicious. Honestly everything about our meal was solid and we will gladly return. Not quite sure if we hit this place on a good night or if they've done a major shake up in response to the recent poor reviews, but either way I'm glad to give these guys a 5 out of 5 rating.

Maybe some of the worst restaurant food I have ever had. The rice is very overcooked and hard. The salsa has no flavor. The beans taste like canned baked beans. The waitress mixed up 3 peoples orders and couldnt tell which tacos are which. The food was all bitter and no real flavor profile. One of our margs had a moldy raspberry as a garnish. The cups were super dirty and the table waters had stuff floating in them. The prices are very high for very below average food. The ambiance was ok. Weird that there was 3 people in this big restaurant during the dinner rush, not surprised after eating it. We got charged for everything we ordered even though we didnt get 2 margs and got served moldy and dirty food. Only the chips and the guac were around ok. Would not recommend.

Just went there yesterday, 3/23/26, as it is one of my regular choices for good local Mexican food…read more I feel pretty certain they made some improvements to their food. First, the salsa and chips were improved. The salsa, both mild and medium, had a very fresh taste to them. I was impressed by the chunky medium salsa the most. Secondly, their accompanying chips were darker and thicker. They also had a distinct roasted corn flavor which went well with the salsa. Neither the salsa or the chips were drowned out by the other. The thicker chip stood up to the rigorous dipping I gave each one. Third, the refried beans they served with my chimichanga dinner were above the average pale looking serving. They were darker and nicely seasoned. I'd go back again just for them. I wish they served a little dish with these beans along with the salsa and chips. Fourth, only a one star demerit for their saggy bottom bench seats in my booth. Fifth, thank you for having hot water in the very clean Men's room for washing my hands.

Honestly with all the restaurants I go to I don't remember if the interior has changed from the previous restaurant but it's fresh/clean looking with a nice little bar on the side. My service was excellent and I was seated right away with chips, salsa, water and a menu. The chips were warm, thin, fresh, crisp and seasoned nicely with a nice corn taste that was the quintessential corn chips for salsa in my opinion. The salsa was fresh with crisp/chunky vegetables and once again what in my opinion makes for a perfect salsa with a heat not detectable to my pallet but my nose was slightly running which was odd because my mouth was not hot, maybe all the hot and spicy food that I eat all the time has numbed me. I would do a menu item that I never do which was breakfast for lunch that was the chilaquiles plate with steak. It's two eggs cooked hard, thin steak, beans , tortillas sautéed in sauce topped with cilantro, onions and sour cream. The plate looked amazing and a huge portion by the way. The beans were loose with whole beans and topped with shredded cheese. The eggs tasted fresh, cooked over hard. The thin steak had a slight grill flavor. The sautéd tortillas I opted for the red sauce was delicious with the thick red sauce covered in cilantro, onion and sour cream that was delicious and the star of the plate. Overall was it the best Mexican food that I have had, no and the particular plate you order can affect a review in the end but I will say I have a new fondness for Mexican breakfast. Overall my breakfast for lunch was very good even though it wasn't seasoned like the chips but it was a better experience than my review for the last place 12 years ago and I would actually go back to the new restaurant vs the old that was once and done.
