Looks like a 1950's style diner on the outside (and inside too!). Also resembles a river side or lake side diner on the inside. Portside is old school - but that is a positive in every way. Great menu and great food. We stopped for breakfast and totally enjoyed it. For us, we did Eggs, Home Fries (Potatoes), and Toast which sounds easy but as you know - people mess it up. Not here, the amazing staff was super friendly, and working hard. The food came out fast and hot. Tasted great. We are looking forward to returning when we are back in area for lunch or dinner. PS - we also bought a homemade Coconut Creme Pie to take to our family visit and it was a hit. Fresh and tasted great. Wish we had more places like this in Northern Columbus. Thanks again Ladies for great food and service. See you soon.

Now this is the mom-and-pop diner I've been searching for! Don't judge a book by its cover either!…read more The outside looks shady because it's an old truck stop. But man oh man the food is awesome and the breakfast portion sizes are great! I had the Southern Omelette, home fries, and sourdough toast. I could only eat 1/3 of the omelette, 1/3 of the home fries, and one slice of toast. The customer service here is top notch. If you're lucky, Larry might stop by your table and say hi. He told us he works hard cleaning tables and is there on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Thank you Larry for taking care of our table and stopping by to introduce yourself!

A group of my buddies -- we call ourselves the GCBs (Grove City Boys) -- got together for dinner, laughs, and a night out. When we arrived, the restaurant was about half full, and we were greeted quickly by our server. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name because we were all busy talking and catching up, but service was friendly and attentive right from the start. For food, I ordered the battered chicken tenders with honey mustard and fries, and another guy at the table got the same. One buddy went with chicken wings, another had a great-looking burger topped with an egg, one ordered the Asian crunch salad, and another got the fish and chips. The food came out fast, and everyone really enjoyed their meals. The only downside was the fish and chips, which were a bit overcooked and kind of hard -- but everyone else was happy with what they ordered. As a special surprise, the staff brought out a warm brownie with vanilla ice cream and sang Happy Birthday to me, which was a really nice touch and totally unexpected. Checks were cashed out promptly, and then we were off to do a little gambling. If you're looking for upscale bar food, this is definitely your kind of place. They also have large tables, which makes it great for groups. Overall, it was a good experience -- and hey, we even won some money! A great early birthday celebration. We'll definitely be back.

Our waitress was attentive and checked on us throuhgout the meal. We ordered our dinner as a group of 4. It took forever to get our meals. We waited about 45 minutes for our food to arrive at the table. Thankfully our little group was busy catching up. I originally ordered a side ceasar with my philly cheesesteak. The lettuce was slimy and enedible. I took one bite and put it to the side. I let our server know, thankfully she offered me french fries and took the upcharge back off my bill. The sandwich and fries were decent. The fries had a nice crisp and just the right amount of seasoning on them. It was nice to have dinner and then go to the casino floor and listen to the Friday night band. It is a good way to spend a Friday evening.

A good selection of seating options: at the bar, some small two tops, and some four tops along the side. Bet it gets packed at peak. I was here at 6:30 on a weekday, and it was half full. Ordered at the bar. The bartender was great. Laid-back, helpful. They had birria tacos as a special, which sounded really good, but I went with the bacon jam burger that everybody talks about. And it is an excellent burger. Great bun; great burger, thick and meaty. Gouda cheese, lettuce, and onions and tomato. And the bacon jam, which was more subtle than I expected. A nice layer on there, adding some sweetness and saltiness, but not overwhelming. Blended well with everything else. There are several other appealing burgers on the menu, and I am interested in what their specials are since this one looked good, so I'm sure I'll be back.

But that's just me taste over cooked. Wings was expensive for them to be small wings. But the shots was good and we had a blast! Parking was a night mare no where to park as it's street parking but I had to squeeze into a small spot and I barely fit my truck in I couldn't get out lmao! Music was good and everyone was friendly! Great atmosphere! We will be back!
