    Poached eggs
    Nancy L.

I love a good poached egg and this restaurant nailed it! I would give them extra stars just for serving the poached eggs on a piece of toast to absorb the residual boiling water. They were delicious. The toast was fresh and crisp and the hashbrowns were amazing. I was there on a Sunday morning and they were busy, but the service was on point and quick. I would most definitely come back.

We placed a to-go order to give this place a try and waited about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the food was undercooked and lacked seasoning. There are plenty of other breakfast options in the area, so we'll likely stick with those moving forward.

I was out at Rickenbacker Airport one morning and decided to find a local place for lunch. Since it was around 11:00, I wanted somewhere that would have a breakfast or brunch menu, such as a diner or a cafe. Portside Cafe popped up on the Google map, so I decided to give it a try. This is a local establishment, and it seemed as if the five or six customers knew the servers or were regulars. Everyone was friendly, and it really seemed like a down-home type of place. It looks a little rough on the outside, but the inside is actually well decorated and clean. The restroom could have used a little attention, but the rest of the place was fine. One thing to note: the owners are obviously politically conservative, and the pro-gun and anti-Biden stickers on the front door and at the cash register make that known to everyone. I don't care one way or the other, but some people do. So I've let you know. I wound up ordering a patty melt and home fries since I often find that diners make a really good patty melt. In this case, it was so-so. The marble rye was good, but the patty seemed like either a large piece of breakfast sausage or a thin preformed, likely frozen and thawed, factory-made beef patty. And the melt? It seemed as if there was one slice of cheese. No sauce that I could make out, though it did have abundant sauteed onions. The home fries were quite good. Will I go back? Who knows. I'm never really in that part of town, so the likelihood is low. But I'd be willing to give it another try.

This is a super busy restaurant. Everything you would expect from a diner on a main highway. Fantastic food and fantastic prices. I had a fried cod sandwich. But the Club Sandwich is the bomb! Hands down one of the best. Next time I would order the Club and split it with two soups when we go. Plenty for two people. Also, I have been told their breakfast is great especially steak and eggs. Breakfast is served all day.

Great food, cooked in a diner style. The prices are not too high. You can get a decent meal for under $10.

A group of my buddies -- we call ourselves the GCBs (Grove City Boys) -- got together for dinner, laughs, and a night out. When we arrived, the restaurant was about half full, and we were greeted quickly by our server. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name because we were all busy talking and catching up, but service was friendly and attentive right from the start. For food, I ordered the battered chicken tenders with honey mustard and fries, and another guy at the table got the same. One buddy went with chicken wings, another had a great-looking burger topped with an egg, one ordered the Asian crunch salad, and another got the fish and chips. The food came out fast, and everyone really enjoyed their meals. The only downside was the fish and chips, which were a bit overcooked and kind of hard -- but everyone else was happy with what they ordered. As a special surprise, the staff brought out a warm brownie with vanilla ice cream and sang Happy Birthday to me, which was a really nice touch and totally unexpected. Checks were cashed out promptly, and then we were off to do a little gambling. If you're looking for upscale bar food, this is definitely your kind of place. They also have large tables, which makes it great for groups. Overall, it was a good experience -- and hey, we even won some money! A great early birthday celebration. We'll definitely be back.

Our waitress was attentive and checked on us throuhgout the meal. We ordered our dinner as a group of 4. It took forever to get our meals. We waited about 45 minutes for our food to arrive at the table. Thankfully our little group was busy catching up. I originally ordered a side ceasar with my philly cheesesteak. The lettuce was slimy and enedible. I took one bite and put it to the side. I let our server know, thankfully she offered me french fries and took the upcharge back off my bill. The sandwich and fries were decent. The fries had a nice crisp and just the right amount of seasoning on them. It was nice to have dinner and then go to the casino floor and listen to the Friday night band. It is a good way to spend a Friday evening.

I was getting ready to leave a review and it says "update review" lol. Oops. Wings are still solid, the boneless are a Sisco or Costco standards but I had to try them. I'll definitely order the Pork rinds over fries. They came out hissing and popping like a plate of fajitas and were awesome. Dunking them in the hot garlic butter was a bonus, damn near spiritual experience. Wash it down with whatever IPA the bartender grabbed me and I'm in heaven. Run the BBQ Costco homeless wings thru the Hot Garlic butter and suddenly the game changes. Now I realize it's all about the sauce. Somebody create an "It's all about the sauce" t-shirt and I'm buying one. I swear these pork rinds are regenerating. Or I need to ask the bartender exactly what I'm drinking. Wrapping it up, I probably would skip the homeless wings. They remind me of the at home air fryer bottom dwellers. So stick to wing wings. OK I'm finished. And I still have a full plate of regenerating pork rinds.

This is a nice country club although bit cramped for large events in terms of parking. I think you can find this in most local Central Ohio country clubs as they only have so much space. Everyone is coming and they don't realize country clubs don't hold that much space for guests in terms of parking. I guess I will have to come back to try Cimi's Bistro. The wedding itself was flawless! I think mostly due to the family and friends helping, which is why I give 4 stars. Family was making table centerpeices a few hours prior and staff were on site but no help. I am not much of a wedding venue expert, but ... I just expect more from a very expensive country club than pay us, here's the venue... good luck. As part of the wedding party we were at the venue starting at like 1pm for a 5pm wedding and i just didn't really see anyone from the venue much. I would just think they'd have more of an interest in the wedding going smoothly, but ... again, I'm not a wedding venue expert. The venue itself was fine, outdoor bar was cool. The beauty I think came from the table-scapes, which was designed by the bride and put together by the family, again, why I give 4 stars. Reception was fine... put on by the venue. Room was really nothing special, not decorated or anything pretty. The food was good. The bar was tiny and in the back, hard to get to when there's a decent amount of people. Overall, I think they could have done more, been more present and really went above and beyond, which... from my perspective they didn't.
