Breakfast Sandwich

Quirky place with great food and friendly staff. The breakfast sandwask was delicious and not too thick that you couldn't bite into it. The waffles were crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The homefries were a little salty for my taste but that is a minor complaint. The staff was also very sweet to my dog.

Menu

Super friendly, great food, feels like home kind of place. Food was quick and reasonably priced. We will be back when we are in town again.

My first visit to the Olde Towne Cafe & Inn was very pleasant. The employees are mostly family members and they are very friendly. They treat you like family too. The Cafe has old time wallpaper, wood floors, old pictures in frames and an authentic Elvis Presley outfit on display. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms which you can rent. All very comfortably and charming. Next time I go I want to order the homemade chicken noodle soup or the bean soup with corn bread.

Great place, nice and homey, I like that it is inside a home and the kitchen is the kitchen. Good food - solid diner food. Try it

Sunday breakfast was an especially nice treat! Lydia our waitress went above and beyond! We had five people and many little requests. She was so hospitable and friendly. The breakfasts were all from scratch.- Home fries, larger stuffed omelettes, nicely cut thick bacon. We loved the experience. Thank you Lydia. We will be back!

Absolutely one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at before! The restaurants atmosphere is so cozy, the servers are genuinely nice, the owners are impeccable couldn't of asked for a better dinning experience!!! I love the comfy homey feeling of dinning in the comfort of your own home only better because you don't have to do the cooking or even wait on anyone else. Lol This restaurant offers daily specials along with their everyday menu. Tonight's specials were tilapia. Salmon, meatloaf, cabbage rolls and sides, everting sounded amazing was such a hard discussion to make, so my husband and i decided to get the meatloaf and cabbage rolls that way we could enjoy the bust of both dinners and was definitely a win for the both of us. Everything was so good even our grand daughter enjoyed both our meals along with hers. Oh and i don't want to forget the wine selection offered was a new wine for me a local well semi local winery about an hour out called Raven Glenn the wine i chose was a moonshine wine combo and wow it was amazingly delicious! If your in that part of town or just passing thru this is hands down one of the best restaurants offered!! Kudos to the owners Two weekends in a row i will be back....possibly by the end of the weekend. Lol

Old Towne Cafe is great if you're looking for a homely, delicious meal. The restaurant is in a house so it added to the cozy vibes. My boyfriend and I came here early afternoon so he ordered waffles and I got the chicken salad sandwich. Both were satisfying. What I loved most, however, was the very friendly staff, inviting atmosphere ... and the complementary muffins served at the beginning of our meal. I'm not from Pataskla, but Old Towne Cafe surely makes me want to visit this lovely town again!

Two of the restaurants were closed on Monday, which left this Mexican restaurant that had less than perfect reviews. Like another customer mentioned, if I could've given a 6 star review, I would have. I was waiting on my friend who came in the back door. I was waiting out on the street at the front door. The owner came out to let me know my friend was already inside and escorted me to our table. The menu was expansive and it all looked fantastic. Difficult to choose. I ended up ordering the sizzling fajita plate, coffee, iced tea, and their house flan for dessert. My friend ordered something that looked really amazing that had a mushroom sauce and some cheese. We both all but licked our plates clean. But I did have enough to take some home for leftovers and I'm looking forward to a second meal. The portions were generous. The meat was a good quality, sautéed to a sizzle, just as it was described. The whole meal looked impeccably fresh and perfectly sautéed to the right amount of tender/crisp texture. The hot items were hot and the cold items were cold on different platters. When asked about different items on the menu, they very kindly explained. They checked on us several times throughout the meal to make sure we had everything we needed. I am an award winning retired professional gourmet chef, having cooked and baked for several famous people, including three presidents. Full disclosure---- It is very difficult to make me happy because I am such a snobby food critic. They far exceeded my expectations and we plan to make it a meeting spot for monthly visits in the future. KimO Fredericktown, Ohio

It was previously Uncle Johnnies, and previously to that, The Old Horseshoe, so it looked and felt more like a sportsbar before. They've retained some of that with the TVs and the bar area, but it definitely feels more upscale and has more personality now. The changes are evident as soon as you walk in with the foliage and tile used to decorate. I am appreciative of the decor as it gives it a modern, yet still casual, feel. The service has been pretty good here! Admittedly, I was surprised because I first went to the New Albany location and was very disappointed in the service. However, I've been in this location 3 times and have been pleased: I have always felt welcome and taken care of. The staff cares aboout their customers and the management wants to provide a good experience for all and that is clear. I have tried three different meals on the occasions I've been in. The one funny thing is that I am pretty sure I got something different than what I ordered the first time I was in (the week they opened). I was forgiving because it tasted good, it was their first week, and most importantly for me, it was still vegetarian, and I wouldn't have been able to eat it otherwise. Speaking of which, I do appreciate a good vegetarian option menu! They're hitting the mark here with this part of their menu! (I can't speak for much else) I think I found my favorite dish in the menu- the Veggie #2 and #3 are the same, just swapping out mushrooms for spinach on one item, so I'll rotate between them. The only place I'm not 100% in on this place is the drinks. They have fancy cocktails, but I don't need fancy. With fancy cocktails come fancy prices, and that's just not needed for me. I'm more of a craft beer or wine drinker anyway, but unfortunately, craft beer is not their speciality. Maybe I'll go with wine next time? I'll be excited to see what they do with the upstairs as it's a great space that should not go wasted. I do understand it's not convenient to carry trays of food up the stairs, but the bar is nice and we'll see what they do with it. Overall, they're off to a running start and my family will likely return regularly.

The gift card was charged to my CC and High Bank received the funds. In order to resolve I called the Grandview location and spoke to the Restaurant Manager, Sam. He directed me to send me a detailed email to their general email address, he also provided me with the General Managers name, Kendre. After several conversations with both Sam and Kendre, my issue was resolved. The original lost gift card was credited, and a new gift card was issued and received by my friend. It's not often enough that individuals perform their job to the level of expectation, somehow we've learned to accept mediocrity as the norm. Location Manager Sam and General Manager Kendre should be recognized for their exceptional service.
