We as a community MUST protect this gem at all costs. Ever since my wife and I discovered happy mediums, it has become a favorite of ours. Coming to the shopping center on the weekend, getting a matcha from lucid, and coming to HM to enjoy their delicious food, amazing customer service, meticulously curated playlists, and overall vibey ambiance is something that we genuinely look forward to and Notably miss when we're unable to make it. I genuinely have been hoping they purchase the vacant space next door so that they can build and expand to their already dope aesthetic. We moved to Beaumont a few years back and our biggest bone to pick with the area was the lack of delicious food options but HM has definitely filled that void. Prices might "seem" high until you actually try the food; then you immediately taste the freshness, quality, and love thats put into their dishes. I've tried almost everything on the menu and can honestly say that everything is delicious and unique in its own right (mufaletta, roasted cauliflower, and the potato dish are all top tier). One reason their sandwiches (I've had the muffaletta and classic hoagie and tried the roasted cauliflower) is that they use Village Bread products (if you haven't been, run across the way and get something, you won't regret it). The sandwiches are filling and you'll be thinking about them long after you've eaten. Everything was exemplar. From the food to the service. Everything is made fresh with the finest of ingredients. The butternut tumeric soup with a drizzle of balsamic on top was heavenly! The roasted cauliflower sandwich with home made flat bread was so delicious! And the avocado toast with spiced feta was incredible. I think because we came late (closing is at 3) they even gave us some passion Fruit Pie with graham cracker crust which was out of this world. All of the dishes had amazing flavor profiles. Apparently two chefs in the kitchen had gone to culinary schools and worked in some of the finest restaurants but came back to Calimesa. You must try this place. I'm sorry to give such a glowing review because next time i may have to wait longer in line to get a table. Oh there is only about four tables in the restaurant but everything is very clean.
