    $20 Salad
    Michelle Q.

Went in for two salads and total was over $40! Wish the server would have told us that it would be expensive to build your own salad. These were not big salads. Build your own is a great idea, but no salad should be $20 each.

First time being here with my wife, and I have to say very good salad. The service was great, the place was neat, and the staff is friendly. It's also an added bonus that we're not too far from here makes it more better, so we can return and bring other family members. I am going to say that I Highly recommend it.

Today we decided to try out this place and high hopes due to the reviews. I called in our order of the kalamata tuna sandwich, the turkey avocado and tomato basil soup. The soup was ok and was thrown off by the small chunky tomato bits. The kalamata tuna sandwich was undersized with tuna and to top it off there was a long dark hair and a second shorter white hair in the tuna. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't remember the person who made our food wearing a hair net. I'm not a type to complain about wrong food orders sometimes but I definitely do not enjoy finding multiple hairs in my food. I feel the best way to resolve this if to be refunded for the tuna sandwich with the hair.

Very clean establishment with a wide variety of items to build your salad with. They only have a few salads on the menu but you can literally make one with anything you want. Everything was fresh and made to order. A good place to eat on a hot day or when you're trying to stick to a healthy diet!

Cobb Snob, everything was fresh & tasty except for the hard little square pita croutons. I won't be having those again.

If you're looking for something different and healthy, this is the place for you. I love that you can build your own salads, everything looked fresh. I got the Cobb Snob and everything was good except for the pita croutons, I'll ask that they leave these out next time, they tasted overly saturated and a bit too fried for me. Not sure how they're actually prepared but it's not something that I thought tasted gio The place was clean and the staff was friendly, I only wish they were open on Sundays.

Bite Better Salads N More is a straight-forward salad bar (with some sandwiches). The staff was quick and efficient, and the salads comprised of quality ingredients that were fresh. As you can see from my pic, I posted a close up of their salad bar and a representation of their ingredient selection (which was plentiful). Their interior is open and clean, see pic. Getting into and out of their parking can be a challenge - plan ahead and have patience. They pack their food containers to the max, see pic. (Considering it's a salad, this is great!) Today we opted to try their signature salads, instead of a build-your-own: Caribbean Superfood Chicken Salad and The Fabulous Falafel Salad. The Caribbean Superfood Chicken Salad had a good quality of diced chicken, see pic. The chicken was tender and fresh which was very mildly flavored. I have no know idea if this salad had Superfoods or not, but I did like the variety - they added flavor and texture. I'm calling out the nice scoop of avocado: fresh and creamy. What pulled all the ingredients together was their Caribbean mango vinaigrette. This dressing was mild, not particularly tangy, not particularly sweet, not particularly fruity, but yet a combo of the above. Uncharacteristically of me, I ate most of it. The Fabulous Falafel Salad had all the mixings of a Greek themed salad including the lemon tahini dressing, see pic (check out the fresh lettuce). The lemon tahini dressing was mild: hitting the notes of citrus and sweet. The falafel bites maintained their crunchiness but had a very mild Greek flavor. The humus was plentiful and was also mildly flavored. Overall it was a pleasant salad. We ended with a cup of their Creamy Lentil Soup. You can see the various pureed veggies bits in the lentil soup. It was soothing and mildly flavored. Overall, this is a good plant based (all the way to Vegan) meal alternative. Their serving sizes are large, and they were quick and helpful.

I found this place next to my job and my best friend had recommended it. I had their turkey sandwich & lentil soup . The sandwich was delicious but their lentil soup lacked flavor & it had way too much Blk pepper & it wasn't thick enough or creamy . It was okay though.. I probably wouldn't try it again not unless they added some flavor to it & offered some toaster croutons of a side of crackers it was just really watered down. I saw the other stuff on their menu maybe I'll try it out again. Great place for a healthy fix .

I have walked past it a few times. Jim, the owner, was awesome. I had many questions and food restrictions. He was very patient with me and accommodated my food restrictions. I ordered the pulled pork BBQ panini with a coconut water. I cannot find the perfect describing words, it was more than I expected. I asked for the cherry Chipotle sauce on the side. Let me tell you, if I didn't have health issues that, I would have slathered my sandwhich with that sauce. I had to ask what the "meat" was made with because some vegan meats I'm not able to digest easily. He said mushrooms. I eat mushrooms very often I also eat meat here and there. I would have never guessed my panini had mushrooms. The sandwhich was delicious. It had a side salad with quinoa, beets, arugula, feta, and a dressing. That salad was actually good, I don't even like feta but I ate it with the salad. Don't get me started on the coconut water. I tried to get on the coconut water bandwagon and I never could because they all tasted bad to me. Welp... not this one. I can say I have a new craving. Comes in a nice glass bottle and tastes great. I was craving it the next day. $8 is a high price for me, but i can say if you have the $ the taste is worth it. And you can keep the cute glass bottle for other stuff! Jim was so kind he gave me a pumpkin cheesecake to try. I ate it later when i got home. I was expecting to only take a couple bites as im not a pumpkin gal. But i ate the whole thing. Im assuming its vegan by the texture. It had a real pumpkin flavor. It was soft and not too sweet. Just the right size to hit that night time dessert craving when your kid is alseep lmao If you read this far, go try it out. I hope you love it :) I will be returning, Jim, beleive it!

It's inside the Redlands Public Market and on a random Monday night, looks to be the busiest restaurant. We got the Bomb Bay, Floozie Lucy & an order of chili cheese fries. The Floozie Lucy was a good burger but I didn't care much for the stuffed patty as I have problems with texture. The main star was the Bomb Bay! It was a double patty with the thickest, crunchiest, most delicious bacon I've ever eaten. It paired well with the jalapeño dressing. It had a little kick and though the burger itself was big; I was still hoping for seconds since it was so flavorful. The chili cheese fries were also delicious. The food here is made fresh to order, you can customize how well you like your patty cooked. With the quality, you can tell it's fresh food made to order. Downside to that is that it does take about 20 minutes and can be on the pricer side. But totally worth it! If you're a ranch lover, get their ranch dressing. It comes at extra cost but was a good staple for me. Overall, solid burger spot!

I asked my server about it and could he change one of the smaller TVs that I could see back to the fight. He left, came back and was told by his manager this was a family establishment. We ended up having a great time, good drinks, good food, and a really enjoyable atmosphere. After we left, we were gone for about four hours when I suddenly realized I had lost my wallet. I was completely frantic retracing my steps, and something told me I might have left it at the brewery since it blended in with the outdoor furniture. I called and spoke with the owner, who confirmed they did have a wallet, though she wasn't sure if everything inside was still intact. That made me even more nervous because I had about $1,000 in cash in it and was on my way to the bank earlier. When I returned, the same gentleman who had helped us with our food and drinks carefully verified my identity before handing it back. To my absolute relief, every single dollar and every card was still there. I just have to say it's rare to come across that level of honesty and integrity these days. Huge thank you to the staff at Escape Brewery for being such incredible, trustworthy people. Truly a reminder that good people and good karma still exist. We'll definitely be back

When I started this draft a few months ago, I originally had this at a 4 star review. I liked that…read morethey were super dog friendly, that I could just buy a bottle of bubbles for $19 with some orange juice, and I liked their redlands cheesesteak (minus mushrooms and aioli). It was a chill place for me to come and service was fine - you order at the front and go ahead and pay or keep your tab open. If you want anything else, you need to go back to the front. Pretty much get left alone by the staff, which I enjoy. However, today I did what I usually do, got a redlands cheesesteak, a bottle of bubbles with orange juice, and just read my new book for my book club with my pup next to me. They did originally make my cheesesteak with mushrooms, but took extra time to make me a new one and added a side of fries to compensate for the long wait since they had to make it twice. Cheesesteak was good as always once I got it. Bubbles were good with some juice. Still would have left a four star review at this point. Unfortunately, I was literally minding my own business sitting and reading my book with my pup when this couple next to me starts arguing. The angry older man waves his hand as he's yelling at his gf(maybe wife idk) and proceeds to knock over his gf's newly poured glass of beer which spills all over me, my book, and my dog. As an initial reaction, I did say "dude, wtf?" which I think is a normal reaction to having beer spilled all over me when I'm literally minding my own business in my own little book world. This guy literally decides to start screaming at me that he's "sorry" but my reaction is ridiculous and proceeds to call me a c*nt. Really great apology calling me that offensive term for women. I'm telling him not to call me that and he's the one that spilled beer all over me. He starts getting even more aggressive. At this point the guy behind the bar is telling me to leave and get away from the screaming guy. I've already started grabbing my stuff before he said that as me and my pup did not need to deal with this BS on our day off. I didn't even finish my cheesesteak or my bubbles - just left it all on the table. I tell the guy behind the bar that I didn't do anything wrong, I'm leaving anyways, but don't understand why they are letting this guy stay. He just says that he'll talk to me after I "calm down" away from the bar. So I walk away from the bar and he doesn't follow me. I literally have to go back to the bar and say "I'm ready to talk to beside the bar. are you coming?" He says okay. I walk over to the side and he walks over with me saying he "doesn't know what's going on." Doesn't even bother offering me a refund when he totally saw the whole thing go down. I ask for a refund because this is ridiculous and he does give it to me after I ask - still think it should have been immediately offered not waited til I asked. I tell him exactly what happened and he just says look, I'm not kicking you out, but how about you stay on the side over where the arcade is and the guy that screamed at me just stays where he is. I'm like, dude I don't want to be here anymore so I'm leaving either way, but I don't understand how you are just letting this guy that spilled a beer on me then called me a c*nt stay here. He says that he's probably gonna kick him out, but idk if he actually followed through on that as I just walked out. I'm severely disappointed in how this was handled and how unsafe this place made me feel - clearly they think the screaming white man is correct and the asian woman is just being hysterical. I used to come here all the time, but this one instance makes me never want to go back here again. I'm really upset how in today's world, this is the norm. That somehow, after being called a c*nt and having beer spilled all over me, I'm the bad guy? Never coming here again. Biggest disapointment of a brewery in Redlands.
