Well this was super unfortunate. Mondays is free delivery and Jerseys is my top choice. Today my husband and I ordered lunch to be delivered. Due to the time I knew it would take a bit longer. No biggie. Upon arrival I began to notice something was off. They already charge almost $4 for avocado so I expect my order to have every ingredient i ask for. My Cali club had no avocado; bacon, and the rest of the ingredients rationed. My husband also didn't get avocado in his chicken ranch and it was missing the rosemary bread. Went in to this location at 5:30 pm on a Sunday . Was DEAD. Only one other chick ordering. Start to order and the guy tells me "we actually only have wheat bread. This time I had a Regular #10 Tuna Sub on Rosemary Parmesan Bread prepared "Mike's Way" (with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, spices like pepper and oregano, and vinegar & olive oil) and with a few pickle chips, pepperoncinis, and slices of Provolone Cheese added, along with a Diet Pepsi and bag of Lay's Classic Potato Chips. My friend ordered a #7 Turkey & Provolone Sub on White Bread with lettuce and tomatoes. I was so hungry I ate my whole Tuna Sub before remembering to take a photo of it! But I had already contributed a photo of a Regular #10 that I snapped at a previous outing. And the most current looked very much the same. What I like about Jersey Mike's Subs is that they cut their meats from the hoof, slice their cheeses from a solid block, and all vegetables are always very fresh. The tuna salad, too, is cold and well prepared. Also, portions are more generous than those typically parceled out by other national chain sub shops. I have also previously enjoyed here a #17 Mike's Famous Philly Cheese Steak Sub. And my all-time favorite is the #13 Original Italian Sub prepared "Mike's Way" with Provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni, and a few pepperoncinis tossed in the mix. Visited this location this week, and I am really disappointed. The staff was extremely unresponsive, moving so slow, and pretty rude. The lady who took my order was annoyed that I had asked for toppings on my sandwich, said I don't need to know that right now you can just tell me that later... Wouldn't you think if someone's writing down your order on a piece of paper they would want all the details of your order on that paper? Confusing. Oh, they also skipped me and took the gentleman's order behind me before mine, which was so annoying after having waited longer than I should. The other lady working check out was rude as well. I could tell they were not listening to me when placing my order, so I had asked them again as they were making my order, because I could see they were making it wrong. When I told this lady, I would assume she would tell the gentleman working on the grill, but she just stared at me and didn't respond. All in all, these three employees that worked the evening I visited all just seems like they hated their job. It showed completely in their terrible customer service. There were only two people in front of me when I came into this store and I spent about 40 minutes waiting for my order to be taken and completed and no surprise, my order was wrong because they were not listening to me. I really had a different opinion about Jersey Mike's, but this location really put a bad taste in my mouth. There's no need to be rude to customers, this is the job that YOU applied for...if you don't like it, Quit and go somewhere else. However, if it's lunchtime, forget that Ready Time on your online order bc they will prioritize in-person orders. I got to the store abt 10 mins before my sandwich was scheduled to be ready. I was told it'd be ready in 5 mins. That's fine as I know the pickup time is estimated, but meanwhile, 5 in - person orders have been taken. What's the point of ordering early and online if in-person orders are prioritized. The order was placed before I left work so I could have time to pick it up and go back home to enjoy my sandwich. Yikes, how hard is it to read an order and make a sandwich? Apparently it's difficult. In my career of service to people the results of this order had to be due to terrible or absent management. While I love Jersey Mike's this is a TERRIBLE LOCATION. I did an online order, and when I picked up the Service wasn't handled like all others, the sandwich was made very wrong, and I paid for extra meet and cheese and it was mostly bread. Did an online pick up order, went in and picked up and they lied and said I ordered it delivery and a delivery driver picked it up already. I showed them my receipt which said in store pick up and the guy at the counter insisted I ordered it delivery. As this was happening I received a call from the "delivery driver" that picked up my order. She in fact was not a delivery driver but a customer who's name sounds nothing like mine but still they gave her my order which wasn't even similar either. They frantically apologized and offered to remake my order which I accepted as I was hungry. As they handed me my food the original employee which insisted I ordered delivery made the wonderful remark of "sorry you had bad luck and someone took your order" no sorry you're a terrible employee. Let me start first by saying I LOVE Jersey Mike's! This is not a review for the company / their sandwiches but is directly a rating on this location. The last visit, I ordered 2 sandwiches. 1 cold sub, 1 hot. We had 1 person in front of us (ordered 3 very plain sandwiches) and 1 person behind us (ordered 1 hot sub). With the exception of some online orders, the store was definitely not busy. It took over 25 minutes to get our sandwich, and they told the person behind us that they were behind and it was going to be another 20 to 30 minute wait (again, nobody really in line, and they weren't working on any other orders at the time) They were out of nearly all vegetables, onions and tomatoes they were completely out of with several hours until closing time. They did not offer to cut up or open a new batch either. We had to tell the person making the sandwich what was supposed to be on it about 3 times... which he still wasn't totally comprehending so I just asked him to leave it as it was... Then, to finish it off, they gave us the wrong sandwich. I have been to this location many times and have experienced the same issues. Definitely need better management. This location is new and the customer service was great as they helped me navigate their menu of sandwiches. I ordered the regular 7-in bacon ranch chicken cheese steak, which comes with applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, and ranch dressing. I was in and out within 10 minutes. The chicken cheese steak was delicious and the bread they used was very soft to the bite. The bread wasn't too thick so you don't feel like you're just eating a bunch of carbs. I like that the chicken meat is shredded, rather than cubed, so that it remains in the sandwich and doesn't fall off. They give a great amount of chicken even if it's shredded. The bacon was strips and not bits, which added a nice crunch texture to the cheesesteak. The ranch sauce, surprisingly, complemented the sandwich well because it added a creamy flavor component. Unlike other stores, they didn't pack the cheesesteak with too much lettuce just to fill up the sandwich. It was just the right amount. read more

The whole point of ordering on the app is so I didn't have to wait inside but that didn't happen. I walked in at the time the app said my sandwich would be ready and it hadn't even been started yet. The girl behind the counter started making it only after I asked if it was ready. She stopped midway through to take a person's order who had just walked in. Wouldn't it make sense to finish the order that should have been ready long ago before you take another order? So I had to wait an additional 10 minutes inside the store with about 5 other people, which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place. This place has gone way down hill. My mother went in to order a giant sandwich it sucked. She wanted it cut in half they cut it in quarters. She wanted half no cheese since she can't have dairy. She wanted lettuce and pickles on all of it and tomatoes on the half no cheese. They put nothing on one side. She said the person making the sandwich would not listen to her at all. The team of lady's that made my lunch on Thursday 5/31 at approx 1 pm where happy and chipper. They used my first name several times in our conversation. I told the sandwich maker that I had never been to a Jersey Mike's and asked her to make me what ever she thinks the best Jersey Mike's sub is. Without hesitation she smiled and asked if there is any ingredient I don't like and she went to town. She gave my sandwich to the team member on the register and told her this ones for Cory.
