I'm saddened to leave this review because my kids love this place. But the professionalism will make me not support this business. I understand things happen but the lack of follow up is why I'm placing this complaint. 3/21 my kids were exhausted from a tournament and wanted bk subs. I tried calling but I figured they were just busy as they often only have one employee. I was excited to see that I could order online. So I placed my order so it could be ready by the time we were in town. Got there and there was a paper on the window to go to loma linda, however I was already charged and my kids were exhausted I didn't want to drive from the direction I just came so I called and a representative who was very nice and tried handling it and was more professional than the owner I just spoke with. I left my information for the manager to call me. It has now been over a week and my credit card was still charged so I called. The manager told me he told the employee to tell me I have to go to doordash "if I call back" so why do I need to inconvenience myself again because the manager wasn't willing to call me to rectify it. The manager interrupted me while speaking, but was upset when I reciprocated that behavior. The owner told me to look up DoorDash and how they are a third party and why I need to deal with them. Which I don't need to look up as that is common sense. But I am putting this here so the manager can see he could look up on how to turn off DoorDash when they randomly close or are out of the country etc. I am very disappointed. All of this over 2 sandwiches. If I was called or the approach was different I wouldn't be leaving this review. BK never misses. They are an old school simplistic sub shop. I've never had my food made incorrectly or with poor quality. The woman who runs the front and makes the food is super nice and awesome at her job. The environment is clean and by far my favorite bread for a sub! read more

This BK Subs location is next to the Big 5 Sporting Goods store on the southeast corner of Redlands Blvd and Alabama. Getting in and out of the parking lot, is a bit tricky: traffic in this area is heavy. While there was plenty of parking, the parking has a fair amount of pot holes. I was there at lunch hour on the weekend. There was only one staff member working and she was a bit behind, but was working hard. As you can see from my sandwich pic, I had a Turkey sandwich. This is their small sized one. I ordered it simple. The veggies were fresh: I liked the shredded lettuce. This holds more oil & vinegar dressing. The oil was fresh and light, the Italian seasoning with it was appropriately light. The turkey was very mildly flavored. The bun was made with white flour, and really didn't have any flavor. I've been going to BK subs for over 20 years. Today I ordered a double turkey sub through DoorDash. The sandwich that I received was not only NOT double turkey but had an excessive amount of lettuce with very minimal tomato. I called and spoke with the owner in an attempt to explain to him that the sandwich I received was not what I ordered and that the quality was not what I was used to getting from this business. I was not attempting in anyway to even ask for a refund or to try and get a free sandwich. I simply was trying to let him know that the quality of his sandwich was very poor and that I was disappointed. He then began to argue with me, talk over me , yell at me and insult me instead of simply listening to what I was trying to say. I know the person I was speaking to was the owner because I've seen him before. He is a very rude and dismissive person that does not care at all about customer service. This is very disappointing to me since I've always really liked BK. The quality of the sandwich today was very BAD. Needless to say, I will never eat here again and I hope others will listen to this and especially be aware of ordering anything from this place through a delivery service... because you will not get what you ordered!!!! read more

The 12" came with only one single layer of meat and they charge you an extra $1 for the cheese. Not the same BK subs I remember.

Well.. this went downhill. I was an old customer that has been going to this location for years !! The original manager was a nice guy who was working, literally, ridiculous hours and always alone, but STILL had great service. He quit a while back. So we haven't been back since. Today we decided (my son and l) to go and get some sandwiches. We pulled up. At first it was jsut me waiting as my son was still in the car. Then both of were waiting at the door for a solid two- three minutes since the worker was still mopping and ignored us... and so we waited. My son and I thought "okay we can go in now", the worker stopped look at my son and said "Really?! Are you really walking on my wet floor?!" I was standing at the threshold and said "Excuse me?! We waited you didn't acknowledge us and you just kept mopping... And we STILL waited. Then we walked in!" I LET HER KNOW THAT SHE LOST US AS CUSTOMERS AND HER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. The place was empty with no one around-- I informed her that this horrible service will be reported. She said she's the manager!! With that being said ... This is so disappointing and can't believe that our favorite sandwich spot would have such horribly rude employees to run it. read more

I'm sick of showing up during normal business hours just to have them closed. I showed up at 2:00 on a Saturday and they were closed. What? My dad went in before 6:30 just for the one employee to tell him they had closed and it wasn't even 6:30 yet. Why was the door still unlocked? They don't charge extra for cheese when you order a ham and cheese but charge extra for cheese when you order a turkey and cheese. It's inconsistent and stupid. Why would a sandwich shop charge extra for cheese? Cheese should come with a sandwich. I love their subs but they constantly pack in a huge amount of low quality lettuce just to fill their subs. Also, they almost never put black olives in my sandwich but it's supposed to come with them. So tired of this place. This place is poorly run and management doesn't seem to care about all their bad reviews. No one seems to want to fix the problems. read more

I had driven past this place 100s of times. Yesterday I went to FB next door to p/u dinnner. And since I knew would have a lunch meeting the next day and won't be able to go out for lunch, I figured I might as well grab some sandwiches for the fam to bring to work/school. They were amazing! Everyone in the family loved their sandwiches. Truly the best sandwich I have had in years. I am not even a sandwich person (hence why I had not stopped in before). I'll eat them, but they are not usually on the top of my list in terms of food choices (especially on a cold rainy day... which it was). But now, this place is definitely my top 5 restaurant in town. Everything in the sandwich (meat/veg/sauce/cheese) were fresh and crisp. THe mayonnaise and mustard were just enough to enchance the other flavors, and did not overpower everything else. The flavor and textures were perfectly balanced. I chose plain rolls and they were incredible, a little chewy on the outside, and pillowy soft on the inside, but not soggy where the meat/cheese/veg were. The prices are also very reasonable, and in this economy, we can all appreciate that! I will most definitely be back ASAP. In fact, I will probably eat the sandwiches first and bring the bowls to work the next day. read more

The prices are quite fair! They use super fresh bread, vegetables and meats! The staff is especially friendly! The menu is pretty basic. It would be nice to see them have a little creativity and a few specialty sandwiches. One I would especially like to see would be an Italian Sub! I bet they'd do it real well. But that might not be their niche so I'll have to stick to what they've got! Definitely worth a visit! read more

There is a big banner outside the restaurant advertising a 6" combo special. I ordered the 6" combo and was charged $15! I said that's not what the sign said and he replied that you have to ask for the special when you place the order! They have also doctored the avocado so much that it's just basically green mayo, very smooth, not at all lumpy like in the pictures. read more

When you first walk in, it's kind of like a subway shop but you choose from the menu like what kind of meats you would like but there's also a list of items you can add in your sub. A normal sub comes with tomato, lettuce, onion, mayo and mustard but you can either add or substitute any other options such as no mayo add siracha or honey mustard.
