We ended up finding this little Vietnamese donut shop by luck after our first choice, Carolyn's Café, had a long wait--and I'm so glad we did! I got the ham, egg & cheese croissant sandwich and my husband had the ham sub, and both were delicious. The croissant was buttery and flaky, and the ham sub was packed with flavor. Their mango orange drink was super refreshing, and the Vietnamese iced coffee was rich and perfectly sweetened. The ladies at the counter were very friendly, and they even gave us complimentary donut holes with our order--such a nice touch! At Yummy Donuts & Sub, my apple fritter certainly was. For an incredibly small place there are tons of opportunities for eating. You can see the varieties from my pics. You should note there is a $.50 fee for non-cash. Parking on their side of the parking lot was easily accessible and available. I came by for a comforting apple fritter. As you can see in my pic, I wasn't disappointed. It was very large. It had the right amount of outside crunch and the insides were still very soft and chewy. You can see the super amount of glaze - which I liked. The apple bits and apple glaze were concentrated in the center. We ended up tearing into quarters so that each piece had a bit of apple bits and glaze. This apple fritter and a cup of coffee makes for great comfort food. read more

Good news! This place lives up to its name. Or at least half of it, because I didn't try the donuts, but everyone else seems to say they're really good. I actually meant originally to pick something up from Rosamaria's, but they had closed early for unclear reasons (I guess worker shortage? It happens, I get it). But I was still hungry having not eaten yet that day, and this place was also on my list of places to go. The menu is a mixture of breakfast items (from bagels to croissants to sandwiches made of either). They also have a variety of pastries, drinks in the back, coffee, and at some point they had ice cream (saw ice cream cones), which I assume will come back after COVID-19 either ends or we collectively decide as society to stop caring and YOLO no$wag it. Inside was simple, but there was some place for seating. Cool drinks in the back. They also randomly had a buy-one-get-one-free boba deal (I didn't go for it because I am trying to limit my caloric intake to the bare minimum). I decided to order the submarine sub because I was the impression that sub was short for submarine, making the submarine sub a redundant acronym (like ATM machine or HIV virus, which I probably shouldn't talk about in a food review.) Unlike HIV, the submarine sub was amazing and wonderful! The picture doesn't really catch how perfectly it was toasted on the outside, with just the right amount of lettuce/tomatoes to give it a fresh flavor, without falling apart. In addition, the outside was toasted, the bread soft, and it was juicy and moist inside thanks to various unknown condiments and sauces. Had a mix of meats, and I honestly usually think turkey is a tasteless and joyless sadge meat, but it was pretty flavorful. Not sure what they do with their turkey to make it like this. I just ordered some random sandwich, and it was amazing, and now I want to try out their breakfast sandwiches as well. If I am ever up early enough and have an appetite, I will also try out some of their pastries when they come out. Looking forward to it! read more

This location is very open and well situated with plenty of parking in the plaza. There are many food options but this shop is very I really enjoyed their willingness to accommodate and talk me through my options. I liked that they open early to catch the morning people. And they had SO MANY options with pictures, which helps me make decisions faster, but can also be distracting. Still, I appreciate it. I can see how it would be a cute place to eat once COVID is over, and I look forward to doing that in the future. My friend ordered first and the two ladies worked fast to get his order together. I ordered food for a friend and myself and while one lady made the breakfast sandwiches, the other grabbed the donut and the strawberry banana smoothie. The smoothie was very smooth and not too sweet. My egg and cheese breakfast sandwich was delicious and tasted very good despite not having meat. It looked beautiful, too! And their croissants are HUGE, so it's very worth the price. I got a dozen very light donut holes and a maple buttermilk donut.
