The selection was basic & fairly priced, but it is CASH ONLY and this is a bit of an inconvenience in today's generation where hardly anyone carries cash anymore. Service was nice, although it did take her about 10 minutes to come out from behind the back, but idk maybe she just didn't hear me come in. It was clean, and well lit but the display case & tables look old, kinda turns off the appeal but honestly doesn't bother me much since most people take donuts to go. Classic mom and pop shop, been going here for years. The owners are always so inviting and kind. And it has a classic ambience with the old men hang out there talking or playing chess. The owner is sooooooo freaking nice! I came here with my daughters for the first time. It was early morning before school started and they really wanted hot cocoa and donuts. I placed the order and as I reaching toward my pocket to get my wallet, I was horrified at the sudden realization that I was in my pj pants and left my wallet on my nightstand! Needless to say, I was embarrassed. The owner, without hesitation; told me not to worry about it and that I can pay her later. Every stereotype of Asian business owners just went out the window in the blink of an eye. I was so grateful. I rushed out of there with our hot cocoa and donuts to drop them off at school and then I went home to get ready for work. Moved to the area a year ago. I like donuts and there are two donut stores near me, this being one of them. I figured if I'm going to live here the rest of my life, I better figure out which of the two donut stores I like better. My family and I had our extended family over one day. We went to both donut stores and bought the same donuts. Brought them home and compared. The donuts from Manna were significantly better. Both visually and taste. The jelly donuts from the other place were just cut in half, spread with jelly and then out back together. The jelly donuts from Manna were whole donuts that were filled...like they are supposed to be. So yeah, this is my spot for donuts. Just wish they accepted cards...not just cash. The end read more

I'll never go back again. I can't stand rude service. My husband walked in and chose 2 donuts and handed the male cashier his card. The cashier then told him that they did not accept card transactions... however there was no sign saying CASH ONLY. There was no ATM either. My fiancé felt so embarrassed that he came back to our car empty handed. I went back in with cash to get our order and there was no one there for about a minute. I had to yell "HELLO!?" and finally someone came. I then told them I came to pay for my fiance's order and so he grabbed our bag and tossed it on the counter and gave me the price. I asked if I could look in the bag and he said it was fine. I said, I'd like to add another donut. I asked for a fresh glazed if they had any?! He didn't respond. He just walked back and came back a minute later with nothing and said nothing. I thought he was going to check for fresh donuts. Apparently not. He then opened the fairly empty display case and put the last glazed donut in a bag and charged me. I paid and was on my way. Overall, customer service is bad and selection is low. read more

I went there on a Wednesday and got a donut. The chocolate frosting was cracked and the donut was a little tough and threw it away after a couple of bites. I didn't discover this until I was at work and wasn't going to leave and go back. I went there on Friday and told the lady that and she could either give me another donut or a refund. She angrily said " I don't sell day old donuts and the answer is NO". I told her she lost my business forever over a donut that cost $1.05! Was that worth losing a customer? If i could give them a zero rating, I would! I went in there on an Sunday afternoon, ( i know, i should have known better) after a huge family gathering to get a few dozen donuts. Not only was the guy rude, but the donuts were absolutely HORRIBLE. They were stale, and crisp to the core. Get this, not only did the guy behind the counter know they were old, but he charged me extra for the larger size donuts! Shouldn't I have received a discount? So, after the gathering i called the business to speak to the manager. It has now been two weeks and I have not received a call back. I have attempted to try and get a hold of the manager several times, and even left a call back number. Id never go to this place again! Horrible all across the board. read more
