This small donut shop captured our attention with it's unique neon signs in the window. Their signs instead many choices inside, including sandwiches, smoothies, donuts, and what's a Be-Bop? We went inside and the owner inside was very nice and friendly. It was already later in the evening and they still offered a great selection of donuts and croissants which is sometimes rare for donut shops. They had some very unique looking choices that we had never seen before. She was very informative. We had a pleasant time and ended up purchasing way more than we intended on as she was so nice to talk to. We had asked her about what some of the signs meant as we had not heard of that kind of dessert before and she told us. Next time we are in the area we will definitely return as there are so many things to try and we will definitely want to return in the morning to see even more choices and decadent options. This donut shop, and more, is conveniently located on Colton Ave. (Please see my outside store pic to illustrate how easy it is to find.) Parking and access was super easy. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We stopped by late morning in July, and the restaurant was already very hot inside. There is limited inside seating and no outside seating, we had already planned on eating at home, which due to the inside temperature was more comfortable. We shared their Apple Fritter. As you can see in my pic, this is a thicker style fritter. And as such, the inside is quite doughy which had average flavor. There wasn't too many more apple cubes than what you see in my pic. Additionally, the glazing was a thinner than other Apple Fritters, and didn't soak into the dough similar to others. Wow! This just happened to be on my way to a family member's house. I stopped in, grabbed a dozen, and was on my way. The clerk was friendly, the prices were fair, and the donuts tasted fresh! I asked her for an assorted dozen - and she threw in a couple of extra donut holes for my kid. They were all great - I'm not a fan of jelly-filled though, I learned. Worst donuts I have ever had. You could tell that the donuts were old and fried in oil that was old and wasn't clean. Donuts had a dirty, oily, soggy taste to them. Fresh donuts are typically light and soft, these were heavy and crunchy. Definitely not worth the time and the money. read more

The young female worker was very rude and nasty yelling at me on 07/18/23 at 1:20pm..I came in and saw a pot of coffee with some coffee left that was old, i can tell by the real dark black color, and time 1:20pm there is usually old coffee at that time anywhere unless the pot is full but not the bottom...everyone thats a coffee drinker knows that bit left over was from the morning rush! so I asked, "You, got fresh coffee?" She said what size? I said, "medium". Okay I will make some , you ask for small they won't make it. So anyways, she starts making the new pot mixed with the old, so I nicely questioned her about it. On why she did that to mix the old coffee with the fresh brewed, it makes no sense only to a person being stingy tight on her supply...She got all upset and said that's not old coffee!!!! im only making more because it's not enough for medium!!!" She was yelling at me in a demanding tone...I told her, " lower your voice, I'm just asking you". she continued to rant in same yelling fashion. I told her 3 times not to yell at me, her actions were to get more upset she snatched the donut I was buying from the counter and threw my money back and yelled at me saying, "GET OUT NOW!!!" I took my money cussed her uneducated ass out and left. I hate when folks compare apples to oranges and leave reviews that aren't based on proper criteria. This is not a craft bakery or a trendy coffee house serving speciality upside down drinks in biodegradable cups with a paper straw. This is a donut shop where blue collar folks can get a donut or breakfast sandwich and coffee for a great price. Coffee is good if you like basic coffee. Donuts are fresh assure you as i am in around 420am and there not all finished yet so you See croissants still rising. Anyways I get a apple fritter, jalapeño ham and cheese Croissant, and bagel breakfast sandwhich and eat at it all morning as I feel the need. The man behind the counter was not plesant. We ordered an ice coffee and he gave us flavored syrup in water and then says its an ice coffee. Where's the coffee? We asked him for a refund and instantly got upset! He threw my money on the counter and walked away! We couldnt believe it and to make matters worse he behaved like this in front of other customers.
