I ordered the number one croissant and egg sandwich with cheese. There was a little to no cheese on there. The food had no flavor and the croissant was stale. I did reach out and they told me the croissant is not stale that they toast the croissant. For $10.00 this is fully unacceptable. read more

I really enjoyed the customization of the croissants. My fiancé was looking for breakfast croissants, and this really hit the sweet spot for what he was looking for. We were looking for a jalapeño breakfast croissant that we can add meat too possibly some egg and cheese. I liked that there was community members sitting down, enjoying your coffee in the morning. This donut shop has a community feel and I have been in Yucaipa for several years however this was my first time coming to this donut shop. While off the beaten path, it's a very welcoming place for that donut "fix". The staff was very quick and pleasant. As donut shops go, there is lots of seating. We went a bit out of our way for their Apple Fritters. As you can see from my pic, it was the requisite size and super sugary glazing. But their version had a lighter, more airy dough. So ........ crunchy and sweet on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. We found only a few apple bits scattered through the fritter. Since we had manual labor ahead of us, we had to try their Powdered Cream Puffs. These were exactly as their name implies (see pic): we had powder sugar ALL over the place, the inside had plenty of vanilla cream and the pastry was quite airy and light. This is my first visit to Uncle Ray's. I was pretty impressed. I arrived about 11amish and there was limited selection. As the reviews indicate, you probably want to arrive early. Anyway they were out of the ham and cheese croissants however, offered to make me one, which was so nice. I was greeted with a genuine, "How are you." Croissant and chocolate bar were delicious. The food was sub-par, and over priced. I've had way better at a cheaper price point, but it may just be the area that it's in. The service was whatever, i've also had better experiences elsewhere.
