This place is always busy, both inside and with takeout orders, so I definitely recommend ordering ahead if you're in a hurry. That said, they are consummate professionals at what they do, and even if you walk in, the wait is never painful. My advice: check out the menu while you're in line and be ready to order when you get to the register. They're busy, and nobody wants to be the indecisive person holding up the line! Their daily specials are incredible, but be aware that if you want a special from a different day, it's not happening. Also, get there early if you want the special, because they can and do sell out -- which honestly just proves how good they are. Everything here is done right. The menu items are thoughtfully put together, balanced, and full of flavor. Portions are generous without being ridiculous, prices are very fair, and honestly, I think they may even be low compared to the value you get. The staff is always helpful, and the girl at the counter has been there as long as I've been going -- I believe she's family -- which says a lot about the heart behind this place. Don't skip the market, either. They carry some of the best Italian ingredients, and it adds even more to the experience. Saverino's is by far the best sandwich spot in Redlands, and I'd go out on a limb and put them in the top five on the West Coast. Family-run, local, consistent, and absolutely top notch. This place is a winner and deserves a try. Just one warning: THEY ARE ADDICTIVE!

It took a while for us to get our order. I'd say at least 30 minutes. Once we were called up, we just picked up and left. We didn't check our order before we took off. We got back home in Riverside, unloaded everything, and realized one meal was missing from the order. I decided to call the store to let them know. I spoke to Joey, who identified himself at the night manager. I told him how the young woman behind the counter never lost her cool and how busy the restaurant was. Joey apologized for the failure and offered to make it right. We worked together to come to an agreement where we would come back another day and they would replace the missing meal. We came back on the day we said we would. The young man behind the counter didn't seem to know what I was talking about even though Joey said he'd leave a detailed note. No matter, I had my receipt with me and presented it along with a short story of the situation. The young man placed an order in the kitchen for us. We had our replacement meal in about 10 minutes. Honestly people... be nice. It's not hard. Things happen. Just use the nice words you have in your vocabulary and let the restaurant attempt to make it right. We'll be back. Dave's is good stuff.

I came across this sub shop while I was out and about running some errands. I usually don't ever write reviews, regardless of how much I enjoy the food, but this place was absolutely OUTSTANDING. First off, the staff are so friendly, you feel right at home. They take such extra care when preparing your food for you. Ingredients were so fresh. I got the veggie turkey avocado sub and it was AMAZING. I couldn't get over how great the sub was so I ordered a second one to take home with me and eat later. BK Subs was by far way better than any other sub shop that I have been to, and I have traveled all across the US. Being a complete foodie, I love to try new things. Having said that, I've eaten at a lot of sub shops and have yet to come across something as delicious as BK subs. The service was phenomenal. I was able to order the food and was surprised at how fast they were able to prepare my sub. Given the quality of the food, freshness of the ingredients, friendliness of everyone who works there, and the great prices, I will DEFINITELY be going back for more! read more

Upon entering Everest Grill and wrap I was greeted by Jimmy, the manager. He shared that the restaurant was previously Maui Hawaiian BBQ and they took over ownership last year. That's how I found out they decided to still serve Hawaiian BBQ but also have Nepalese dishes as well as wraps on the menu. The service he provided was amazing. He took time to go over the menu, all the popular items, and shared detailed information about the items that were new to me. Now let's get into the food and drink because it was absolutely amazing. I really don't have anything negative to say about anything that I tried. To drink, I had a mango lassi for $3.99. It was a beautiful balance of sweet and tart. The yogurt gives it this subtle tart flavor and the mango did not over power it. It was creamy and perfectly balanced. It was a nice refreshing treat on this extremely warm day. The mixed grill plate comes with grilled teriyaki chicken, bbq beef, and a short rib (includes Mac salad, rice, and steamed cabbage) for only $15.99. The meats were juicy, tender, and had a perfectly balanced teriyaki flavor. It wasn't too sweet or salty. The Everest Spicy Chicken (includes Mac salad, rice, and steamed cabbage) for $13.99 and is paired with an in house spicy sauce. This chicken is not glazed, it has a spice rub. It's nothing like I've tried in the past. The rub is not burn your tongue spicy, it's more of a warmth to your pallet. I really enjoyed the crispness of this chicken and the Nepalese spices used to make it. When you pair the chicken with the spicy sauce it comes with, then you get that true spice and it all comes together as the perfect bite. Which is perfect for me because I love heat! The Crispy Fried Shrimp (6 pieces) for $8.99 were exactly as described. I was surprised because for the price you get 6 butterflied fried shrimp that are a decent size and not full of batter. This is a simple dish and I chose to pair it with the katsu sauce. The Spam Masubi (2 pieces) for $6.99 were also good. The rice was nicely steamed but still had a bite, the spam was grilled with some type of teriyaki glaze, and the seaweed was not soggy. My highlight of the evening and out of everything I tried was the Everest Chicken MoMo (10 pieces) for $12.99. This is another Nepalese dish and their pan fried chicken dumplings. They also come steamed. When I tell you this is a flavor bomb, I mean it. The dumplings were lightly fried with crispy edges. They were juicy and full of this deliciously seasoned chicken. They are definitely some of the best dumplings I've had. They're paired with two sauces. One is a mild and well seasoned sauce. The other is the same spicy hot sauce that comes with the Everest Spicy Chicken. It was suggested to mix them and it was a spot on suggestion. The steamed rice in all the dishes was fluffy and fresh. The Mac Salad was a10. Next time I'm requesting all Mac or more Mac. It's creamy but not too mayo-e. It's full of flavor and has its own Stephanie Lopez tastes. They also offer Teriyaki sauce, Katsu sauce, and Louisiana Hot Sauce at their sauce bar. As for the ambiance, it's giving Hawaiian vibes. It's a casual establishment with table and chair dining. The decor is full of Hawaiian inspiration and I love the surfboards. Please don't sleep on this place. It is a must try. I know I'll be back for more food. Especially the Chicken MoMo...
