One of the workers was on break and was having a very loud FaceTime conversation in the seating area. The machine that beeps when I guess orders are coming in, and the fan that goes off every time somebody opens the door all added to a rather uncomfortable dining experience. But, food was good and fresh, so we will rely on takeout in the future.

Overall, I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars. There are definitely some things I enjoyed, but there are also several areas that I believe need improvement, particularly when considering the prices. I'll start with the positives. The meatballs with sauce were excellent and were probably the highlight of the meal. The sauce was especially good, and I think using more of that sauce on the pizzas would make a noticeable difference. The bread was also good, although the butter was fairly ordinary and didn't add much to the appetizer. The plain pepperoni pizza was good, but I wouldn't consider it exceptional. The pepperoni had good flavor, but the pizza had quite a bit of flop in the center. My biggest concern, however, was the wait time. It took over an hour for our pizzas to arrive, which was difficult to understand considering the restaurant was not particularly busy. The Calabria pizza had a similar issue with the flop and was also noticeably greasy. There was also a significant amount of ricotta. I think the pizza would benefit from keeping the ricotta closer to the crust because, as it was, the ricotta would slide off whenever the slice was picked up. The service was the biggest area that needs improvement. We waited approximately 30 minutes for our appetizers and more than 20 minutes for a single beer. We also had to find our server ourselves to request silverware for the meatballs and bread. When you're paying more than $20 for a small pizza, I think customers should be able to expect more attentive service and reasonable wait times, especially when the restaurant isn't busy. I was also surprised by the beer selection. It seems heavily focused on IPAs and specialty craft beers. Offering a broader selection, including more traditional and mainstream options, would make the beer menu more appealing to a wider range of customers. Overall, I don't think this is a bad restaurant. There were definitely things we enjoyed, particularly the meatballs and their sauce. However, the combination of the prices, lengthy wait times, service issues, and pizza quality made it difficult to feel that the overall experience was worth the cost. It's disappointing because the location is extremely convenient for me, and I would have loved to have a great pizza restaurant just minutes from home. I hope these are areas the restaurant considers improving because I do think there is potential here. For me, this is a 3-star restaurant: good enough to have some enjoyable items, but not yet at the level I would expect for the prices being charged.

Roasted garlic fries - good, freshly fried, thinner fries topped with roasted garlic and some shredded Parmesan. Took a little longer but small business and limited staff. Oktoberfest pizza - nice and different combination, a little more on the salty side with sausage, sauerkraut, cheese, mustard. Sausage can be more gourmet but not bad, sliced slightly thinner. Thin, crispy, and straight out of the oven. Lots of beer selection for hubs. The chocolate marshmallow from the tap is so smooth; sweet and not bitter. Nice new location to hang out.
