This is a vegetarian cafe at the Loma Linda school. I tried their breakfast burrito, which had stripples (fake bacon). It was quite tasty, but please don't be fooled. Just because it's vegetarian doesn't mean it's healthy . Lot of cheese and cream in their items. Same goes for their burger. I had a cashew patty burger , which was okay, but it was loaded with cheese and cream sauce. It was tasty but not healthy. I like their fruit smoothies since they don't seem to have added sugar. read more

My husband was having dental work done at Loma Linda school of dentistry at The Loma Linda University campus He was going to be in the chair for hours and I wanted to find something to eat. This is a wonderful café with low lighting, cordial and cherry staff and a way cool vibe. The price is reasonable. $4.50 for my burrito They have many other choices. A super convenient breakfast and lunch spot if you're on or close to the Loma Linda University campus. Their breakfast burritos are top tier. Scrambled egg, potatoes, cheese, and a chipotle sauce. There is also what looks like veg bacon in it, but I'm not quite sure to be honest. Regardless, the burritos are amazing and you should definitely order one if you're in the area. Great little spot on beautifully maintained LL campus! A little hard to find, we followed our noses and found it on the first floor, "CAFE" written on the building, across from outdoor terrace area with seating. No wait, friendly service, very welcoming of our vegan diet! Got the taco special and breakfast torta, reasonably priced and delicious. We also loved the holiday coffee drinks - I ordered my drink hot but it was made iced, staff was quick to correct without any fuss which I appreciated. Ureach is a super convenient cafe located on Loma Linda campus! I probably would give it a 3 for their actual food but I like their mission and appreciate that they try to keep prices reasonable! Their prices are reasonable but I feel like they have recently increased. On this day, I ordered their BBQ chicken tacos. Each taco was $3.50, which I found to be expensive at first but then I realized how big they were! One taco would have been enough to keep me full for lunch. I have also had their burritos ($4.50) and find them to be a great portion size and the salsa is excellent! However, I do feel like the veggies in the burrito are an odd combination to put in the burrito. I've also tried their Thai tea with boba, which tastes reasonable other than the boba which tastes like it's been sitting in the fridge for a few days. read more

The food quality is decent and most things taste pretty good. They also have good vegetarian and vegan options. Some of their food items are expensive. When you order you need to be very careful about add-ons. They push getting a combo which ends up DOUBLING the price. They also ask if you want certain things (tomatoes, onions, cheese, sour cream etc...) in your food but won't tell you that each of those things adds $1 to your total. This is one of the most aggressive businesses I have ever come across when it comes to up-charging and I have been to plenty of used car dealerships selling warranties. During school year the line can get long during lunch time but goes by fast. I have gotten burrito, panini, pancit, Thai wrap, soups, tacos, taquito de potato and everything has been delicious. Burrito is good size and I usually get full. Haven't had chance to try breakfast food items yet. They are open Monday thru Thursday for breakfast 8 am to 1030 (I think they sometimes close earlier than 1030 am) and lunch 11 am to 2 pm. read more

My usual order is the avocado toast. It's been delicious and the never changed until today. They've raised their prices on almost all their items which wouldn't be a big deal except the avocado is now clearly a store bought paste which terrible flavor. They also put Mayo on the bread for some reason, because it's not on the recipe, otherwise I would have asked for no Mayo. And last but not least, my toast was not even toasted. Well save yourself a trip to Olvera St 'Old LA' (well rather, you should take Metrolink and go, but La Golondrina, LA County's oldest Mexican restaurant from 1930 won't open until Nov 2021 -- probably for Dia de los Muertos month celebrations). Because the fresh house made horchata at UReach was as good as the creamy, rich, cinnamony 'rice-pudding' drink served at that historic Mexican Restaurant. And that is high praise from me, an horchata maven, Nuyorican though I am. The horchata is GREAT! A wonderful counterpoint to: the UReach Cafe 'T-Raw Rice, Bean and fresh veg burrito' which brought back fond memories from the also-storied though not quite historic Mexican restaurant 'Letty's' in Newbury Park, CA, beloved of employees of the also-historic Adventist Media Center (back in the day shoutout to Dan Matthews and Stew Harty) and the Newbury Park Academy peeps including K.C. Hohensee !). Yes, when I had the UReach 'works' burrito and then the T-Raw, I realized I was enjoying the savory, textured, satisfying and filling richness-- with clean cooking and nourishing satisfaction-- of a classic 'Letty's' bean and rice Burrito. And the salsa that comes with the burrito is good, with body and complex flavors, but request TWO salsas to really give that burrito an extra layer of texture and piquance. It's definitely 'stick to your ribs' satisfaction. Sadly, Letty's is no more, but thanks UReach Cafe for the memories and my new favorite IE place for burritos. And paninis, and horchata, and a decent Tom Kha Gai coconut soup, and coconut milk horchata, and I plan to try their other menu offerings with pleasant anticipation. The service is sprightly and friendly, the menu is varied, the venue for outdoor dining is attractive and pleasant both for groups or individual dining under umbrellas, and certainly the lively atmosphere of busy world-class educational institution and medical center is stimulating to one's intellectual interests! The decor is clean and Scandinavian austere with enjoyable design touches, and sunlight pours into the cafe as you place your order, and choose indoor AC or outdoor refreshing ambiance on the terraces and under umbrellas. The Randall L. Roberts Amphitheater is an attractive landscaped dining and socializing area during weekdays . If one listens carefully and discreetly one might overhear medical students, allied health students, nursing students and seasoned medical professionals quietly discussing their classes and projects. Well, one shouldn't eavesdrop, but certainly the combined IQ of the gathered diners attending this world class educational and medical institution has to be astronomical! I felt smarter AND healthier after my dining experience!
