Very solid sandwich spot in the Inland empire. I love everything about the branding, the vibe of the shop, and even how friendly the staff were. I kept seeing this place pop up on my Instagram and decided we it my time to try it. It was a little cold that day but we ended up eating outside. I got a Reuben sandwich and since it was my first time they gave me a free slice of pie. The sandwich was very filling, I like how everything seemed very fresh/local, the sauce paired well with the sandwich and didn't over power. The second time I came in I got the hoagie with turkey. Honestly I think everything is good the attention to detail and care for each sandwich matched what they were as a brand. Simple but delicious. The menu is very extensive and they partner with the local bakery next door so everything comes out fresh. Would recommend come at anytime of the day. They got breakfast all day every day.

Egg and avocado breakfast sandwich

Everything tasted fresh and made from scratch which is amazing! There were also tons of options on the menu for both meat eaters/vegetarians or sweet/savory. The servers were friendly, and the service quick. The seating is a little limited and some of the dishes I feel are just an acquired taste that I was not used to. My favorite dishes were definitely the breakfast sandwich (the bread was so fresh tasting!) and the passion fruit pie. I would come back again!

Prosciutto di mama. Lovely!

Mother's Day special was fantastic! The bread was fantastic and I didn't even think I liked prosciutto...this sandwich was a winner. Clearly I'm a huge fan of this special place.

10/10 The best avocado toast I've ever had!!! The combination of flavors was amazing. It was savory. The eggs were creamy. The sauce was slightly tangy and the dill on top gave it a nice freshness. I'd come back just for this. The inside is very clean and the staff is friendly. They gave us a free dessert to try.

Muffaletta

We don't live nearby and just stopped in while running errands after seeing the great reviews. Honestly didn't expect it to be this good. The space is cozy and lively, and the staff were genuinely friendly. They walked us through their popular dishes, gave us time to decide, and never felt pushy. They even surprised us with dessert on the house, which felt really thoughtful and rare these days. We ordered the crispy potatoes, avocado toast, and half a muffaletta. The avocado toast absolutely lives up to the hype. Seriously is THE best I've ever had. The bread was toasted to the perfect crunch, the avocado was at that ideal ripeness, and the jammy eggs were cooked perfectly (which I really like since I'm not a fan of poached eggs). The orange purée and dill added this bright, zesty sweetness that made the whole dish feel surprisingly elevated but also well-balanced. The half muffaletta was a generous portion and was thick, flavorful, and a little messy in the best way. My boyfriend loved it. The crispy potatoes were also done really well. Crispy on the outside, soft inside, and not greasy at all. The passion fruit pie was amazing too. Super intense passion fruit flavor, like multiple fruits packed into one slice. It's not overly sweet and leans a little tart (which I loved), and the crust was perfectly crumbly. I can see why almost every table had one. The French toast wasn't my personal favorite since I'm not big on cinnamon, but the lemon and basil combination was really interesting and I can see others loving it. The black currant iced tea was unsweetened, smooth, and really refreshing with no bitterness, probably cold brewed. Very refreshing. Easily a 10/5. This is the kind of place you hesitate to tell people about because you want to keep it to yourself but it's too good not to share. Worth mentioning pricing is really fair.

Finally visited this spot and loved it so much! It's a small space but has a few tables to dine-in. The vibe is minimalistic, chill and so cute. we were warmly greeted by one of the workers and he was super friendly! everything we got tasted freshly made and flavorful. I would highly recommend the fish toast, i was hesitant but it ended up being my favorite item. He even gave us a complimentary potato dish. would recommend checking out if you're in the area

This place meets a lot of what I'm looking for in a 5 star food establishment: delicious healthy food, friendly and fast service, and aesthetic/chill ambiance. I ordered the Roasted Cauliflower and it definitely surprised me. It has so much flavor. It was about $20 which is still a lot for a single order in my opinion but I think it's worth it. The bread it's served on tastes like garlic naan bread. Roasted Cauliflower: 5/5

We went back when we were in town and it's as good as last time! My partner and I shared the classic hoagie which is enough for 2 people. I also ordered the crispy potato and we loved it! It was so good!!!!! Both were flavorful and yummy.

Grain Bowl, Breakfast Sandwich, and a slice of Passion Fruit Pie

Our visit was absolutely soul nourishing in every way imaginable! Walking in the eatery, it's humbly artistic. From the moment we walked in, the warmth embraced my partner and I. We were greeted with great enthusiasm and calmness at the ordering counter. Upon looking over the menu, we noticed the simplicity and intentionality. I ordered the grain bowl. Partner ordered the breakfast sandwich. We shared the passion fruit pie.. and literally, with every bite tears began swell. Love in the craft of creating such an experience.. thank you, Happy Mediums for becoming a part of our community!

Cute little spot in Calimesa. With surprisingly healthy options. A small but intriguing menu. Cute, quaint and simple. Employees were nice, patient and knowledgeable. Decor is at a minimum. You can eat in but it's more of a pick up and go vibe.

I don't even know how to start! Happy Mediums came highly recommended by Lucid Coffee (in the same shopping center); Lucid Coffee is incidentally also really amazing Coffee, so try that too. Anyway, my wife and I came in for the first time last week and ordered the avocado toast and the smoked fish toast. Since it was our first time, we also got a piece passion fruit pie. The avocado toast was hands down the best avocado toast we have ever had in our entire life, and my wife orders avocado toast at most places she goes to for brunch. This avocado toast is leagues better than anything else we have had. I will usually prepare myself smoked salmon and cream cheese on a bagel for breakfast, so naturally I ordered the smoked fish toast. I can't begin to tell you all of the amazing flavors and textures both of these dishes had. Absolutely divine! The service is amazing and they even gave us a complimentary piece of pie. This pie...OMG! This pie! My wife hates passion fruit, but this pie is her new guilty pleasure. Made in a way that is very reminiscent of key lime pie, this pie is sure to keep you coming back here! Since we are foodies, we went up to San Francisco for the weekend and partook in a pretty incredible food scene. It was good, but we couldn't wait to come back to Happy Mediums for another brunch! We came in today and ordered the roasted cauliflower and the classic hoagie (avocado). Both were absolutely delectable! The burst of flavors and textures were so complex that these dishes cannot be described as anything short of creative genius. We also had the French toast bread pudding to finish off the meal. You know how when you take a bite of something that is so surprisingly incredible that it knocks you back and makes you lose your train of thought?!?! Every single bite was like that! Each bite was more delectable than the last. There is seating inside and outside, which we have chosen to sit outside both times we have ate here. The restaurant is very clean, their coffee and tea is absolutely delightful and the atmosphere is light, fun, and friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough...really, I was stopping people in the parking lot to rave about how awesome this place is. Everyone that I know that has eaten here say the same thing...this food is life changing!

OMG. This place was fantastic. The owner and staff were very accommodating to our large group. The food was great and they had gluten free bread and the sandwichs were 3-4 inches tall and packed with yummy stuff.

Would you expect a small market to pack a punch with good beer and German food? No? Well, try…read moreGeorge's Market and find out The Reuben sandwich with warm german potato salad was a banger. Meat was juicy, sauce is plentiful, and it all conglomerates into a messy sandwich of deliciousness. Sausages are the other star here. The Spicy Hungarian sausage with mustard was absolutely a banger as well. It's a nice light kick and savory flavor with each bite. We finished off with a Cherry strudel which was not too sweet but still had the nice sugary finish of a dessert. I feel like I'm rambling but long story short, great food, great beer, great time. Have a slice of European cuisine out in Calimesa.

Food: We ordered the half Reuben sandwich with a side of warm German potato salad, a spicy…read moreHungarian sausage, and finished with a cherry strudel for dessert alongside a German beer on tap. The Reuben and potato salad combo was especially hearty and satisfying, with rich, savory flavors that felt very true to a classic deli experience. The Hungarian sausage had a great depth of flavor, savory and well-seasoned without tipping into being overly salty. The cherry strudel was a standout to end the meal, filled generously with cherries and syrup, wrapped in a flaky pastry that balanced sweetness and texture really well. The beer tied everything together nicely, cold and refreshing, and exactly what you'd want with this kind of meal. I still prefer Busy Bees in San Pedro, but this was a nice alternative within the IE area. Price: George's Market falls into a casual, reasonable deli pricing tier. Sandwiches like the Reuben and similar deli items are generally in the mid‑teens range, while sausage plates and hot meals can push closer to around $15-20 depending on what you get. Beer and imported items vary, but overall you can expect to spend about $15-25 per person for a solid, filling meal. Given the quality, portion sizes, and specialty nature of the food, the pricing feels fair. Ambiance: The space is part cozy German market, part deli counter, with a warm, wood-heavy interior that feels inviting and a bit nostalgic. There's both indoor seating and an outdoor area, giving flexibility depending on the weather or how busy it is. Beyond the dining area, the market itself sells a wide range of German groceries and specialty products, which adds to the charm and makes it feel like more of an experience than just a quick meal. Service: Service was good and impressively efficient given how busy it gets. There was a noticeable line when we went (especially on a weekend lunch time), but things moved steadily and the staff kept everything organized without feeling rushed or chaotic. Friendly and straightforward overall. Parking: Parking is one of the easier parts of the visit. It's located in a plaza with a large shared lot, so there's plenty of space and no real hassle finding a spot, even during peak hours.

The beer selection is also unique and worth exploring if you're into trying something outside the usual. Service stood out too. I had a newer waitress who was still in training, and she handled everything really well. Attentive, polite, and didn't miss a step, which says a lot. The place itself is clean and has a classy feel without trying too hard. It's not somewhere I'd go all the time, but that's kind of the point. It feels more like a spot for special occasions or when you want something a little more unique and elevated than the usual rotation. Solid experience overall. 4 stars.

And compared to a chain place like Subway, I feel like I get better value for my money, esp on the 12" subs. For vegetarians, just one note on the veggie sub: add cheese and ask for extra seasoning or it's a little bland. You could also add pepperoncinis if you like a little heat. They have fountain drinks, plus some bottled ones like Snapple. There'a a good variety of chips to get a little crunch alongside a bready sub. It's a classic combo for a reason, right? I do have to take one star off for the soup I ordered last time. It was touted as a delicious broccoli cheddar and there was " only one bowl left!" I was too trusting LOL. It was very watery and seemed to have been a soup mix microwaved and served in a thin plastic container. Sigh. And my hopes were so high. Oh well.
