My son and daughter in law visited this location today. I was very upset to hear of their experience and thought it would be good to share in the event that someone else has been treated with the same lack of professionalism and customer service. Here is their story. After paying for a large pizza and a 2 liter plus a tip, my daughter in law inquired if they charged for ranch dressing. They do, so they proceeded with purchasing a few ranch and three cookies that they have at the register. While paying for the additional items, the lady at the register accused her of stealing a cookie. Insisting that she had put a cookie in her purse, the shop lady demanded that she open her bag. She obliged, of course, because there was nothing to hide but honestly, why would anyone steal a $2 cookie after purchasing all the other items, paying extra for the dressing, and even leaving a tip? All this to say, think twice about visiting this pizza store, you could be falsely accused! read more

This place has gone downhill so fast it's sad. We used to come here all the time, but now it's a joke. They are so unorganized, it's ridiculous. A while back we ordered a large cheese and a large supreme pizza. We were quoted a 25 minute wait time. When I went to pick up my order after the 25 minutes my order still wasnt ready. So I waited, no problem. 15 minutes later my order was ready. When the guy opened the lid quickly to show that it was a cheese pizza it looked burnt. I asked if it was burnt and he said no it was just a shadow. I had seen a guy working on pizzas and it looked like he was scraping something off. I didn't think anything of it at the time because our pizzas had always been good. Yep, it was mine. They were fully aware that they sold a burnt piece of junk and didn't care at all. When I got home the pizza was in fact BURNT. I called back to let them know and the guy who answered the phone promised a free pizza on our next visit. The next time we ordered I ordered an xl cheese and a large supreme, I reminded the guy about the mishap the time before and he said no problem it will be ready in 45 minutes. 25 minutes later my mom called me saying they called with a question about the pizza. I called back immediately and the guy who I spoke to said that free pizza was for a large and not and xl. We usually order an XL, so yes, that was my fault. I got it confused. I said the large was fine and I would see them in 20 minutes. He said uhhh... no your wait time is 45 minutes to an hour now. Since we were around the corner I said that I would be right there so I could figure out why my remaining 20 minutes turned into another hour face to face. I got there, waited in line, and when it was my turn I let the girl know what was going on and all she could say was sorry, that's what our wait time is right now. Umm, how did it add an extra 60 minutes? I looked at my husband and he said just forget it. I told her to forget the order and that this kind of service was unacceptable. I was planning on never coming back, but for some reason my mom wanted pizza from here. She called and ordered, told them we had a free pizza and they said it would be ready in 45 minutes. When she got there the snarky girl behind the counter told my mom that she remembered me and that I stormed out of their restaurant because my pizza wasn't ready when I wanted it to be and that they reason why was because I called back 3 or 4 times not being able to make up my mind. Obviously she got me confused with someone else because I knew exactly what I wanted and the only mixup was my mistaking that it was an xl and not a large. I left because there was no way that it should have taken an extra 60 minutes to make my pizza. It should have been put in as soon as I spoke to the guy, not put to the back of the line. Its not my fault that THEY took 25 minutes to call me back. And to the snarky misinformed girl, if you're reading this, no sweetheart, I did not slam the front door when i supposidly "stormed" out. I'm an adult. I don't need to waste my energy doing things like that. Plus not to mention my husband was holding the door the whole time for a couple who walked in after I walked out. It sounds like they need a more organized system so the girl who is obviously too overwhelmed to keep customers straight can verify right away what people were promised. I have a feeling between her attitude, the lack of integrity, and the unorganized mess they are probably giving out a lot of free "sorry" pizzas. read more

My wife and went there for the first time today all I can say is that the pizza is damn good. It is old school pizza without the bells and whistle that modern pizza try to do nowadays. They are not cheap on the toppings and the prices are reasonable. In fact, they put so many toppings on the pizza that I was doing arm curls with it while walking to my truck and now my arms are bigger than The Mountain from Game of Thrones. Stopped by this New York pizzeria hoping for that classic New York slice, but it didn't quite hit the mark. The pepperoni pizza we got was decent, not bad, but nothing particularly special either. It tasted more like a standard restaurant-style pizza. I was pretty hungry, so it did the job, but if you're looking for that true NYC flavor and texture, this might not be the place. This is delicious pizza! Literally better than any chain around! Order fast service and gives a family ambience good for after sports :)

Customer Service was great. The restaurant and restrooms were super clean (probably because I was the first one there near opening). It got super busy within the hour though. About five pizzas for different parties, and three pickup orders. And the pizza? Pretty good! No complaints here. Fully cooked and fresh. I went without my ranch this time, but it was just a nice and chill experience. I was mainly here to check out Retrovolt arcade next door, but after Leeman let me know that the pizzeria partners with the arcade for private parties. I am a little wary about the reviews with uncooked pizza and/or hair, but based on my experience and a majority of the other reviews, I'd weigh in more on the 4 since this was closer to 3.5 for me. I really like this place, and I love their pizza. On our latest visit, we ordered the Family Special ($29.99): XL 3 topping pizza ($1.75 each extra topping), large salad, and two soft drinks or a regular beer. It was a decent amount of food and would easily feed a family of four. The salad was fresh, and the pizza (pepperoni, sausage & black olive) was very tasty. I'm writing this review in hopes that whoever's in charge of this restaurant put some pride into the inside of this establishment. I was completely grossed out with how dirty the walls were inside the restaurant and the fans. It's amazing what a little Dawn Power wash sprayed on the walls and a good wipe down daily will do! If the seating area of this restaurant looks as bad as it does, it scares me to think what the kitchen and the food handling is like at this place. The pizza was very good. But it was hard for me to eat grossed out after looking at the cleanliness or lack thereof inside. I really hope someone gets it together and make sure that the walls and the fans and everything get a good deep clean at the end of the day or at least for the love of God Once a week. 4 stars for pizza 1 star for cleanliness This place has potential for the owners of this establishment, take pride in your business. They then expected me to wait another 30 minutes for them to remake it, instead of just proactively re-making me an acceptable pizza to begin with. Once we sat down at our table, we were constantly getting up to pick up each item that was ready. Even when we were done, the workers asked us to bring our dirty dishes to them at the counter... The staff were very unfriendly. They made a mistake on our order (called our number and gave us the wrong salads). We had never eaten here before and we did order salads, but we didn't know what they are supposed to look like. The lady then came to our table and yelled at my husband saying he grabbed the wrong order (10 mins later). He explained she called our number he even showed her our ticket and we were not sure what the salads were supposed to look like, so we took the tray. She continued to yell and then kept making comments to other customers about "watch out someone else might take your food." Mind you we were here for a soccer party for my son, so this took place all in front of everyone, and those people were other parents in our group. The salad we got was someone else's in our group (even he heard her call the wrong number) Food was okay but due to the experience I will not be returning. Terrible service . True to the name on the building answered the phone with a brusque rudeness and simply said "HOLD". Sat the phone on the counter and went on about your business. For the price it was decent food wasn't that flavorful but cheap if you just need to fill your stomach up. I was really sad moving to Calimesa away from all of my favorite food spots in Upland. But then I found this place! I always order a large pepperoni to go and it is AMAZING! The sauce is super tasty and the pepperoni to cheese ratio is perfect. I'm super picky about my pizza crust, but this one is just thick enough with a yummy crunch. They are always nice on the phone and have my order ready during the allotted wait time they tell me. I've never eaten there, but it's nice inside. Clean, plenty of seating.
