I want to say that this has now happened multiple times. We order, we go on time, and the boxes are not as a fresh pizza should be. A small business. Order, pickup and go, no tables, strictly take out. A Friday night, during the holidays, called in my order...20 minute wait. No too bad I thought. Drove over, inside of restaurant was packed. Waited in line, it appeared that there were only 2 people working,(but short staffing seems to be normal now-Covid era) finally my turn. Eureka, my pizzas were a special order, so I fully expected to have to wait. IMAGINE my surprise when she took payment, and asked me to wait a minute... my food was ready. Last month, we ordered 2 veggie pizzas We were disappointed because they ran out of veggies, They put very little cheese a few very tiny pieces of green paper, at least I think that's what they were, So we decided not to go back. Well today we were in the area And we were hungry and went And ordered a veggie pizza, hopping it was better They made a mistake and said they would do it over, so we waited about 1hr, when they called us on from the car, they gave us two pizzas , so we figured it was to make up for their mistake, When we got home we opened the first one and it was a bacon pizza, and the second one was a Cheese only pizza, no sause or anything, just cheese, My husband got mad and took them back and demanded our money back. Just went here today and want to preface this with the pizza was delicious. Will definitely be back. I called in my order and the person (who I believe is the new owner/manager) took my order told me 10 minutes. My two pizzas were ready in about 15 minutes which is very much acceptable, but should probably tell people 15 instead of 10 minutes. Just seems way too fast to have a pizza made and cooked in 10 minutes. If people are told 10 minutes and it's over they get upset even though 15 minutes would have been perfectly fine if told that initially. I was told he has some new hires so they are still working out the kinks, so maybe it will be possible to turn out 2 pizzas in 10 minutes soon. There was a minor error with one of my pizzas. The manager was eager to make things right. I don't fault him for it, mistakes happen and him being willing to fix it was nice. As I began this post by saying, both of my pizzas were absolutely delicious. Good amount of toppings and cooked perfect. Probably the best chicken pizza I've had and the pepperoni and sausage was on point. The owner/manager said he was working on some other recipes for some calzones and various pizzas/sides so I'm looking forward to what he produces. I could visibly see on the cordless phone that read "in use" siting on the countertop. I am a very loyal customer but I'm very upset. What happened to Fast 5? Did Dominic Toretto have to look for another job? So, I admit I was confused when I saw the new sign put up that replaced Fast 5. "Lucian's?" I said. "What happened to Fast five?! Pfff...Lucians..you don't know what the heck you're getting!" So I was a little upset and a little reluctant to give them a whirl. However, the other week I was looking at some places to pick up lunch for my employees at work and I did some checking on Lucian's and, as it turns out, it is the same food because Fast 5 just simply rebranded. Fast 5, now Lucian's, is still all about quick, quality pizza and such that won't break the bank. After picking up some pizza after their rebranding, it still tastes like the great Fast 5 I remember. They offer large cheese or pepperoni pies for $5.50 and have various large specialty pies for about $10 or $11. They also offer breaksticks, chicken wings, sodas, and they even have a small chocolate chip cookie pizza that is pretty good (just make sure to eat it while its warm for best results ;) Also, don't forget to phone in your order ahead of time to avoid waiting, especially on busy nights. Strike 1: called in my order, when I got there they had said they had no record of it Strike 2: called in my order when I got there they said they had no record of it. After posting a negative review, I received many "compliments" via yelp that said I was a racist. Called in an order tonight (10/16/2020 1950) Was told that my two pizzas and two wings would take about 20 minutes. Arrived 30 minutes later to pick up my food and was told that the order hadn't been "put in". They said they could make the order ASAP and I asked if I could be compensated for my troubles. The girl at the counter said she would take care of half the order. Come back in 10 minutes later to pay for my food and she informed me that she spoke to the manager and that she would be fired if she comped any of the order but that the manager would call me tomorrow to "investigate". I offered my phone number and requested a call right then. Why waste even more time than has already been wasted? The girl at the counter informed me that the manager refuses to call me since she's not on the clock and that I would have to pay full price for an order that was supposed to be ready over an hour ago. The girl at the counter was visibly scared of losing her job. I left without my pizza and wings. Who ever was the manager or shift lead on this Friday night definitely needs to be retrained or just let go. No sense of customer service and has lost Lucians a solid customer. read more
