New York Pizzaria is predominately a takeout place, but still has quick service. Since they are located on the street side of the building, parking on the street is the most efficient, but there is parking in the rear. You can see inside pics, but keep in mind it's a place. You can see my pic of the menu and see the limited selection, yet it has a diverse representation of Italian food. Also note that cash is welcomed here - there is a 3.75% surcharge for non-cash payments. We were offered water, and you can see what we received. Nowhere else in town does one get their own pitcher of water - great for us! We started with the antipasto salad - it was straight-forward. It had all the main ingredients, see pic. The Italian salad dressing was okay. The greens were fresh. The processed meats and artichoke heart were somewhat bland. We split a 4 slice (individual) pepperoni and sausage pizza. It has a thin crust, which holds up quite well. The exposed crust around the edge was quite flavorful and crunchy without being over cooked. The sauce was tangy and rich. The pepperoni and sausage were a bit flavorless.

Pepperoni pizza was delicious Mozzarella sticks were ok and the salad had too much mushroom not enough lettuce Service was fast! I wish they had music playing or something it was way too quiet but besides that this place is worth a try!! PS we just placed our mozz sticks next to the pizza

I ordered takeout from here through Grubhub. It arrived quickly and hot. The potatoes were packaged well so they stayed hot. This pizza was thin and delicious! The sauce was great and the cook on the pizza was just right. I'll definitely order again!

Another amazing and delicious meal at NY Pizzaria! Had large pepperoni pizza, large Tuscan pizza, jalapeno poppers, and spaghetti with meatballs. The highlights I must say were the classic pepperoni pizza and spaghetti with meatballs. Omg the spaghetti sauce made me feel as if I was in an authentic Italian household getting spoiled with the marinara sauce... mMmMMm!! Highly recommended spot! They're also allowing dine in with limited capacity. Next time I'll try their meat lasagna... can't wait!

Tuscan Pizza and owner watching a movie on his laptop...

Place smells like insect repellent, bathroom is out of order, my small pizza was 16.99 even though advertised as 13.99. There's a fee to use debit cards and credit cards. Owner and cook seem checked out. What a depressing experience. The Tuscan pizza itself is advertised as a "creamy Alfredo sauce topped with chicken, artichoke hearts, mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes." But the cheese sauce is over my minimal toppings. Presentation was that of a cheese pizza. Pizza was a tasty rip off. Needs to highlight the toppings on the advert. Tried to start a friendly conversation but owner didn't seem interested in having any kind of hospitality for his only patron, and gave his attention to his movie. Should've ordered takeout.

Can you see any ham. I paid for ham.

Make sure you have specify indoor dining. The ambiance is relaxed with upbeat music playing in the background. It's a great place for a date. We ordered an espresso martini, house ricotta, pan seared salmon, and alla lori pizza. Everything had so much flavor which is what surprised me. Portions are decent. The bread that came with the house ricotta had so much flavor and they served a generous amount of ricotta. The carrots with the ricotta surprised me. It was so delicious that I ate them by itself. The alla lori pizza was my overall favorite. I never thought of adding honey to pizza. I will come back for the pizza alone. Perfect blend of sweet and savory. This place is always busy, both inside and with takeout orders, so I definitely recommend ordering ahead if you're in a hurry. That said, they are consummate professionals at what they do, and even if you walk in, the wait is never painful. My advice: check out the menu while you're in line and be ready to order when you get to the register. They're busy, and nobody wants to be the indecisive person holding up the line! Their daily specials are incredible, but be aware that if you want a special from a different day, it's not happening. Also, get there early if you want the special, because they can and do sell out -- which honestly just proves how good they are. Everything here is done right. The menu items are thoughtfully put together, balanced, and full of flavor. Portions are generous without being ridiculous, prices are very fair, and honestly, I think they may even be low compared to the value you get. The staff is always helpful, and the girl at the counter has been there as long as I've been going -- I believe she's family -- which says a lot about the heart behind this place. Don't skip the market, either. They carry some of the best Italian ingredients, and it adds even more to the experience. Saverino's is by far the best sandwich spot in Redlands, and I'd go out on a limb and put them in the top five on the West Coast. Family-run, local, consistent, and absolutely top notch. This place is a winner and deserves a try. Just one warning: THEY ARE ADDICTIVE!

We seated ourselves at our favorite raised table in the corner on the far side of the bar. My husband and I stuck to traditional cocktails, and old fashioned and a Negroni. Our friends chose signature cocktails: the Turbo Granny and the Electric Feel. Now the Electric Feel was not just a drink, it was an experience. Our server explained to our friend that he should sip a little of the drink, then chew the Szechuan buzz bud for about 15 seconds, letting it coat his whole tongue, then enjoy the rest of the drink which would taste different afterwards. Our friend went through all those steps and said it was incredible, like all the flavors were enhanced along with different sensations in his mouth, kind of numb and tingly. His wife was not satisfied with his description of the experience, so she bought a Szechuan buzz bud for $2 and she said it was kind of like pop rocks. These buzz bud looks just like a little flower bud like the end of a dandelion once the seeds are blown away. It comes from a plant. Totally fascinating! We enjoyed our one cocktail each here and just had great conversation. It was a fun night because of the company, and also because we had a little adventure going to two amazing places!

We decided on weekend brunch, especially since there were endless mimosas. Our kids have a recollection of being down the class umbrella alleyway, so they were amazed when they saw it. A short while later, we were in front of the restaurant and were quickly seated by the staff. They didn't ask if we preferred outdoor or indoor seating, but we were seated inside right next to the kitchen. We heard that indoor seating was better for service anyway. The interior of the restaurant was "very fancy," and my daughter thought we were in a date spot. We knew we wanted French fries and opted for the garlic Parmesan fries. At first, the kids were weirded out by the arugula, but my daughter ended up enjoying it, noting the bitter and salty notes. My son devoured the entire plate (not the arugula) and asked for another round. We also ordered the lemon ricotta French toast, made from Brioche bread, lemon blackberry butter, whipped lemon ricotta cream, blackberries, mint, and maple syrup. They perfected the crispy exterior, which contrasted well with the fluffy bread. My wife ordered the breakfast pizza--a focaccia pizza topped with marinara, ham, spinach, fresh tomato, red onion, a sunny-side-up egg, and herb-infused maple syrup. This was really delicious with the tart, fresh tomatoes, the salty ham, and the sweet maple syrup. I ended up eating the sunny-side egg by itself, so we didn't get to try the pizza with the egg. Lastly, I ordered the steak and eggs, but it was sadly a small portion. I ordered it medium rare, and it came out medium. The seasoning was a bit strange and would have been better with simple salt, pepper, and garlic. The mimomas really made my wife happy. She started feeling it pretty quickly. She chose the pineapple juice while I got the traditional orange. Not sure if the alcohol made the food better or the other way around. I was brought to reality when I saw the expensive bill, though.

I hadn't been in a few months, and decided to drop in this morning to eat, have coffee and edit photos on my laptop. During the several hours there, I got to overhear exchanges between customers and staff. The morning shift boys were young, but friendly. Let me tell you, once the day shift crew came on, the energy shifted. Andy, I HIGHLY recommend you replace the tall, thin guy with the glasses. The whole time he was there, he acted as if he didn't want to be there. He was rude, stand offish, and completely disregarded customers. As soon as he BLATANTLY ignored a female customer who was trying to have a conversation with him but gave attention to her male counterpart, I was over it. Listen, I get it, he might have not wanted to entertain someone's story. But customer service means to acknowledge the customer and treat them with respect. I can't even count the amount of times I've divulged in conversation with people I didn't want to, but I still treated them like a human. The woman was visibility upset about how off putting he was. I packed my things, went over to the woman and told her feelings were valid because he had been dismissive towards others ever since he came in. I know you're not going to care about my review, I know you're not going to lose much money if I never come back. But people need to aware what kind of employees are here. As for the food and coffee - The ingredients no longer taste fresh on the breakfast pizza. It tastes cheap and rushed. The iced vanilla latte I had was mid at best, I forced myself to finish it. Which is disappointing because I have loved both for years. I think the young boys need some better training on how to make coffee, but at least they were personable. The young guy with long curly hair - keep up that positive energy. You're gonna go somewhere. Highly recommend bringing Quay back full time, maybe make him a manager or part owner because every time I've been there and he's makes the pizzas, everything is He's a staple, and is clearly loved by all the customers who were happy to see him when he walked in. Also, maybe put the birch back on the empty corner wall, looks like someone ripped it off and it looks bad.
