So my husband was in the hospital for a week and we wanted food other than hospital food. So we went to pick up pizza. My husband got a small meat lovers (basically) and I got the American style. Both pizzas were good, but kinda pricey for how small it was. We also got wings which my husband said they were decent & had chicken strips which my daughter ate... she had no problem with them obviously. The service was great, they were super nice and I know there are other locations but this one doesn't have indoor seating, so it's mainly a carry out location, so there really is no ambiance. We will try again under better circumstances, but for now, it's only 4 and not five because of price & I also got a slice of cheesecake hoping it was fresh (for the price) but it was frozen and small in a generic individual wrapping. read more

The quality has changed so much. They don't even bother to put pizza liners in the boxes anymore, so when you get delivery it's just a weird gummy mess. They changed the dough too, it tastes cheap. The sausage is greasy and you can taste that it's a lower grade product. We've been ordering from American pizza since 2006, when we moved to the area. And we won't be doing so again. Best pizza in the valley. I drive to highland to pick it up. It's a very busy place cause their food is good. Their pizza is delicious. The best pizza! We just get pepperoni with jalapeños or olives normally but I finally tried a Hawaiian with their white sauce and I'm hooked. But all of their pizzas are great. I haven't tried their sandwiches but while I was leaving their store the other day, a lady told me she went there specifically for their sandwiches so that's what I'll try next. This place got new ownership about nine months ago and it's now July 20 25. They put you on hold for seven minutes and then you hang up and call back in a different person answers and they say how can I take your order . They mess up your order and say that it's for pick up, when it's supposed to be delivery. Pizza is old when it is finally delivered and then they offer you $10 off. What a tool. The pizza was amazing and the service also but in May I had placed an order and I was told that it would be done in 20 min and that's ok but when it was time to pick it up my order was never put in ‍ Then yesterday 11/4 I placed an order at 7:00pm & I was told it would be ready at 9:30pm they close at 9:00pm I couldn't believe it its sad the way this location is being run. I love the food here. Best pizza in the neighborhood!!! Sometimes it is so busy you have to wait an hour, even if you do a pick up! If that is the issue, try another time or order further ahead of time. They also have delicious chicken wings cooked like real wings should be. High temp and short time. This is my go to for pizza. I have seen other reviews with people complaining about the pizza no being ready at the time promised. Sure that happens sometimes especially on weekends. It is a small shop so if they are slammed with orders the pizza might take longer. I have had occasions where my order was early. There are also some complaints about rude employees. That happens too but the majority of the time they are friendly. And it is nice to see some of the same faces again and again. My usual orders are pizza, pizza, and pizza. But this time I also ordered some garlic parmesan wings and they were legit fantastic. I could and will order just those for a meal. Hands down one of the best pizza places that I have ever been too!!! Everything from the dough to the red sauce was good! I'm not typically a fan of Hawaiian pizza (it's my husband's fav), but even this was amazing! I also tried their Philly Cheese Steak pizza which was good, but their red sauce really sold me over! I will definitely be coming back. They also have a lot of salads to choose from! Not to mention sides! We ordered pizza here because of a recommendation from a family friend. He said it was super cheesy and well priced, you can't go wrong with that! My husband ordered from their online website for pick up and it was ready within 20 minutes. We ordered the four cheese pizza and the kickin chicken. The pizzas looked amazing, and they taste even better! The four cheese pizza has a nice, thick layer of cheese which I love! Like an upgraded version of Costco pizza is the best way to describe the cheese. The crust was delicious too. I'm not one for wanting to eat the crust, but it's crispy on the outside and nice and doughy on the inside. Absolutely delicious! The kickin chicken was probably my favorite. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was super juicy. The franks red hot complimented it perfectly, and wasn't too overpowering. It was the perfect balance of heat and flavor, a super win.
