My girlfriend and I came in just to grab a beer walk in the streets of Redlands. Come to find out the owners of the shop are all best friends and mostly DJs. The inside is super cool decorated and vinyl records. The vibe is amazing. We got the chef special pizza which is a meatball pizza that was to die for everything is made from scratch even the ranch is amazing. Highly highly recommend will be back for sure. At 5:45 I was finally brought my food with not much in the way of friendly customer service being exhibited. While waiting for my food I did notice orders coming out of the kitchen fairly quick ( yes I had people walk in after I did, order & receive their food) so it seems to go orders are not given much priority. Altogether the food was decent, not amazing, but expensive for the portion sizing. We are undecided if we will return, maybe try dining in to see if our experience is any better.

A waitress passed by our table multiple times without saying anything or checking on us. What ultimately made us decide to leave was seeing another group walk in and immediately receive assistance at the counter while we had been sitting there waiting for service the entire time. It's honestly a cute little spot and we were looking forward to trying the food, but the lack of service and acknowledgment completely turned us away. We ended up leaving and heading over to Redlands Public Market instead. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn't return.

My girls went to check out the game area. I went to check out the pizza. None of the pizza were to my liking because I don't eat pepperoni. I didn't see any other flavors at the time. I'm not sure if they rotate their pizza flavors. Anyway, we ended up not getting any pizza from here. I would love to return and play skeeball the next time we're at RPM. I was trying to find a good pizza place in Redlands and that's not an easy task... yes we have all the pizza chains available everywhere domino's, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars etc. but they are all the same... all generic same kinda taste... So yesterday I offered to pick up some pizza for dinner and I started to look for a pizza place.... And I happened to run into an add for Pizza Xpress... The prices seemed too good to be true for what you was getting and I was skeptical at first... thinking that the pizza was going to taste store bought... so time was running out and I had to make a choice... I'm so glad I that I got the pizza here... The owner was very nice. You can tell that he put love into his pizzas. He was very passionate about his pizza quality. And to my surprise... with every pizza order, you get a free small cheese pizza... every pizza he pulled out of the oven he brought it to me to see and smell... and Oh Brother did it look Great and Smelled even better... The taste was amazing... My fiancé loved it and that saying a lot because she's from New York... and don't forget about the wings... the wings are amazing too great taste a perfect compliment to the pizza... my suggestion is get the mango habanero So good... I can't say enough great things about this hidden gem! I was scrambling to find a place open early in the morning for my son's birthday party, and this pizza spot was the only one available. I ordered online before they even opened, and the process was so simple and streamlined -- it couldn't have been easier. The pizza itself was incredible! The crust was perfectly baked with a buttery garlic finish and fresh herbs sprinkled on top -- such a flavorful touch. We ordered a pineapple pizza, and I was blown away by the generous amount of toppings and the best pizza sauce I've ever tasted. Fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. They also have full menu I saw Lasagnas and pastas as well. Might try for dinner one night. What really set this place apart, though, was Sam, the owner. He radiates kindness and great energy. Not only did he make sure our order was perfect, but he even called a couple of hours later to check in and see how we liked the pizzas. That level of attention to detail and care is so rare these days, and it made the experience unforgettable. All the moms at the party were asking where the pizza was from because it was so good -- they all said they're going to use him for their parties too! If your looking for the best pizza in town with the price to match don't look any further than Pizza Xpress. This pizza shop is owned and ran by people who have been living in this town almost their entire life. When you take a bite of this pizza you know they made it for you fresh. Heck, the guy asked me when I was coming in so he could put it in the oven at the right time so I got it fresh. This place has no heat lamps because they don't want to serve anything that's not up to their standard. If you look at the prices in the store and compare them to the ones on door dash or some other delivery app the pizzas always cost more. This is because these apps charge the pizza place an arm and leg every time you order a pizza and the only way for the place to not lose money on every online order is to charge more. AND TRUST ME I KNOW THIS. My mom owns a restaurant and has to do this as well. As for the pizza I ordered a pepperoni, black olive, bacon, green bell pepper, pizza. When I was talking to the guy working there he asked me if I wanted to try some of his habanero mango sauce he likes to put on his pizza and it was FUCKING AMAZING! We have had several small business pizza places in the area and this one is right up there with some of the best around. We were offered a new vegan sandwich that consisted of potato, arugula, tomatoes and their home spices baked inside the pizza dough that stands alone. Adding jalapeños just intensified the flavor. BEST HALAL PIZZA! We ordered from here for the first time because we found out it was a halal pizza place. The owners were extremely nice and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. They even gave us a new Egyptian dish they were selling for free and it was delicious! They have an awesome deal going on right now where you get a free pizza with any pizza order. I can't believe I didn't know this locally owned pizza place was here! I went here based on the reviews, and oh my gosh....the reviews were spot on! This is the best tasting pizza in town! That's saying a lot because we have some good pizza in town. The owner makes his own sauce and dough and you can tell with every bite! The pizza reminded me of my favorite pie in NY. For me it's the sauce that can make or break a pizza, this sauce was the best I've tasted! Once we inhaled our pizza, I was ready to go back for another one. SUPPORT LOCAL BILUSINESS This place used to be Pizza Xpress when I was growing up around the neighborhood. With the new ownership, they have changed the name to Nu Gen Pizza and have added more to their menu. The pizza still has the same old nostalgic taste. Customer service is great and owner is super friendly and helpful. If you're a Seventh-Day Adventist Christian like me (or a person who is avoiding pork in general), this is the place to be! Ambiance: interior of the restaurant/place could use some work, but I'll cut the owner some slack. I'm here for the food and not the vibe of the place. I can say 100% no doubt about it that Sammy's Pizza over here at Pizza Express on Orange Street in Redlands can stand there and get into an MMA match with anybody else's Pizza and be there the whole time, his pizza is that good, the chicken strips w/ fries are killer too, the wings are bomb, look..dude you just gotta try it. Another thing is that the owner "Sammy" genuinely cares about the fact that enjoy every part of meal and it means a great deal to him if you do and especially if you give him just a thank you. I had such a great experience at this halal pizza store! The owner is one of the nicest, kindest people I've met -- truly a sweet and generous man. He surprised me with a free halal pepperoni pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. We also ordered a chicken pizza, and it did not disappoint -- the chicken pieces were large, and juicy. This was my first time here and this spot was recommended to me by a close friend. Family friendly environment and the prices cannot be beat, especially for a family owned company that makes their own pizza and sauces from scratch! I got the pizza, garlic bread and mozzarella sticks and everything was delicious. My Granddaughter and I stopped here after a doctors appointment and Sam greeted us as soon as we walked in the door. He was really nice. We ordered a pizza and some wings. Saw this hole in the wall pizza shop on the way home from work, so I decided to stop by. Pizza looks good but Very disappointed, ordered 2 large pizza with sausage and extra cheese and a sausage & pepperoni. Very bland, it's like they forgot to put some marinara sauce. Taste so plain not worth it $20. I couldn't even finish my 1st slice. So disappointed:( Little Caesar's is way better taste and it's cheaper too. My first impression walking in, the place is probably crawling with years of germs from booger-fingered kids playing all the games with pizza grease on their hands. But, if you want a thin crusted, well done simple pizza like a thick cracker, it was good--the kids liked it but they agreed that it wasn't a Margherita. We also had the hot wings, ordered medium spicy. They were pretty mild though. And not to our liking. They were small, overly sauced and seasoned, soft and wet.
