Stopped by the Redlands Public Market a few days ago for the first time with my family. As pizza lovers, we found our way to Supernova Slice Pizza which caught our eye with their delicious looking pizza display and their offering of selling pizza by the slice. We ordered several slices and the pizza did not disappoint. Definitely a hidden gem of a pizza spot in Redlands. We tried a variety of slices; each one equally delicious. Our order consisted of cheese slices, a pepperoni slice, and a sausage and pepperoni slice. Ingredients tasted of good quality and the cook and reheat of the slices were done well. Pricing was fair. Service was efficient, but not too friendly. Could barely crack a smile from any of the staff working at the time. Plenty of tables around the Public Market to sit down, relax, and enjoy your food. Overall a positive first visit to Supernova Slice Pizza. My husband loved their pizza, so I'm sure we'll be back soon to try more flavors off of their menu.

Some Seriously Amazing Pizza.

So Honestly been a while since a Pizza joint tasted this good. If you haven't been go. As Amazing as the Pizza is Customer service is not going to be a crowd pleaser for Everyone. I believe the idea of actually allowing Someone to order what they want and You the employee not putting in the right order and then shaming the Customer isn't my favorite part of the day. I'm sure he was having a hard day. Bless his heart. Will we be back for sure will We hope when we do he is off the schedule for sure.

If you're a pizza-loving human w a stomach and a soul, Supernova Slice Pizza at the Redlands Public Market is calling your name..... and it's not using its inside voice!!! Picture this: You're nibbling on a slice of gloriously melty cheese pizza that's so cheesy it could star in its own rom-com!! Each bite is a gooey, delicious reminder that happiness is edible!!! Meanwhile, your kids (or your inner child) are busy dominating arcade games, losing at claw machines, and taking awkward but adorable photo booth pics. Multitasking at its tastiest!!! Bottom line: come for the pizza, stay bc someone's still trying to win that off-brand Pikachu plushie!!!

I looked at the pizza slices and was honestly ready for disappointment. The flimsy slices looked plain and simple for a $6 slice. I still went ahead and tried it anyway and I am SO glad I did. The crust was so delicious, the slice was packed with flavor, and that sauce was to die for. It was one of the best slices ever! The workers made the experience better of course. And the pizza place is right by a fun arcade and hidden speakeasy. Definitely a place to NOT overlook.

Fats service pizza was actually flavorful for as plain as it looks! Totally recommend

One of many cool little spots inside the public market space. This one is tucked in the corner towards the back alfresco dining area. If you're like me and like to have a slice or two while on a mission to take down the high score then this spot is for you. They have a cool variety of old school video games and a couple of new ones. The pizza I must say is pretty decent and they have a delicious variety already made as well as whole ones ready to be ordered. Service is pretty good too. And that's my take, Peace out.

Very cool food court pizza place with an arcade. You need to buy a card to use the arcade. I won 2 toys from the crane games. It may take a few plays to win, but you'll win. It's self-serve for the arcade. Very cool characters from shows are decorated at the pizza place.

The pizza is amazing! We got the kids special to try it out and it was amazing. A slice of pepperoni pizza the cheese sauce ratio amazing did not overwhelm each other!! The dough WOW!! It's excellent! One of the best pizzas I've ever tasted! The arcade was a plus to enjoy after you finish your pizza!! The location was clean and well organized! The service was great! Totally recommend this place at the Redlands Public Market!

Ignore the pictures of the cute kids and arcade games. They send the message 'Chuck E. Cheese' and that has nothing to do with this pizza! Rewind. The best pizza in California (and Redlands) is Neapolitan Pizza. Not because Neopolitan is better than normal pizza -- as much as -- 'normal' pizza isn't as good out here in California. So it's been a given that if you want a great pizza in Redlands, you have to hit Bricks and Birch. Why? Everything else is MEH, like Mountain Mikes and Strongman. A mile long list of pizza choices and 'Gourmet' in the business name repels an experienced pizza gal from the Northeast. Just as swank restaurants like Citrone and Madri offering pizza is a turn off. And I'm not looking for a DJ skratching up my pizza prices either. Pizza is Italian comfort food for everyone, not elitist dining that wants to stick pine nuts between your teeth and double the price. We all just want a really good, reasonably priced 'normal' pizza sometimes. And does whatever this place is called sure deliver! (Wait, what's it called? Oh right -- ) SUPERNOVA is SUPER GREAT. If you were to travel to NYC to have 'real' pizza, hate to tell you this pizzeria is already serving it. Wasted trip. (But if you're already there, get a bagel. You're welcome.) I had a pepperoni with pepperoncini and onion and honey. Many places bang you over the head with too spicy and too sweet. Not SUPERNOVA. All three toppings worked perfectly together. The sauce, cheese, and the thin crust were all on point. Not too greasy either. I had two slices and a drink for twelve damn dollars. So what's the catch? Well... the pizza is made and then sits out. If it looks tired, skip it and try a different one. Or have a seat and wait for a new one to arrive. That's right: stalk it. Or just order a big pie if you have friends or are willing to take some home.. It's around $30 for an entire pie, which is a deal compared to individual cosmopolitans for $20 each. But remember, and this is really confusing: BRICKS AND BIRCH is better fancy pizza, but SUPERNOVA is great normal pizza and a better value.

Supernova pizza pepperoni and the Cesar salad with chicken! Chicken was super moist and flavorful

We love supernova pizza! The whole public market is awesome but my kids love the supernova pizza place! The staff is super friendly, pizza is hot and fresh, they just started serving salads so they have other options. You can purchase by the slice or whole pizzas. They have an old school arcade with pinball, skeet ball, Mario cart and claw machines. We keep coming back and they have new flavors of pizza along with classics like pepperoni and cheese.

Be aware though, there's a very slight gap in the doorway. The parking lot is right in front. Seems like plenty of spots though it was almost full when we arrived on an early Sunday evening. Doesn't seem like it would take long to find a spot though. Ernie and Sarah helped us out at the counter. Really nice and helpful employees. Ernie gave us stickers too. There are so many fun games here. They have pinball, rhythm games, old school fighting games and physical games like the mario sonic olympics. Crazy how "heavy" the older pinball machines games feel, like Pirates of the Carribean. I was having a blast with the X-men and Deadpool machines though. They also have a big screen for the latest Mortal Kombat game. You just need to ask for controllers. Ernie informed us they have all day sale options on certain days as well. A great experience! Thank you!

It's not open to the public (as in you are not allowed to go in unless you pay). The owners guard the entrance/near the front door inside and you can't really walk in and go around to check out the games first unless you pay. It was just about a few feet is what we were able to look at inside and only up to the parking lot is all we were able to see. As you walk in, you'll be standing at the front while they stare at you. The owner just stared and made a comment "It looks like you've never been here" No S lady. It was our first time, recommended by the McDonald's Museum across the street. She stated what their rates were. The owner did offer to have her husband escort us to walk around if we wanted to look at the place. Although we may have looked young, we're not little kids. We didn't feel like being chaperoned by an adult. We're 4 decades old. If the whole place runs by itself without the need of physical money, how would they even know who's playing the 30min package or the 1hr? If they use a prepaid players digital card, then a chaperone wouldn't be needed if we can't play the games anyway. We don't know anyone there or wouldn't need to cheat to play for free from others. Needless to say, we didn't see much. Just up to the door while they guarded it. Too bad, we would've enjoyed the place, but instead we were greeted with a cold welcome. Judging by this place, I see the owners like to respond to every comment/review. To the owner, if you're reading this, please don't bother replying. We won't be reading it. We already got the point. To those reading this in response to the owner, please believe me when I say this is an honest review, and real customer service experience. I'm a minority in this area AND NEW so, maybe they judge differently. Edit: lol the owner STILL replied although we already mentioned their comment was not needed. Hard-headed much..?

My personal favorite is the Dance Dance Revolution game but there are so many to pick from including a room where you can play board games! -It is very affordable and basically perfect for a date night or night out with friends. You really lose track of time while playing all the games. It is ten dollars for an hour and 20 dollars for an all day pass. There are also snacks and drinks in a vending machine which are also pretty cheap 1-1.50 dollars! -The owners are very sweet and recognized us even after we had only gone a few times. -It is super clean and nicely decorated! It definitely reminds me of my own childhood arcades. The bathroom is also always very clean which is a major plus for me. Overall, it is a great place to go to with friends or with your partner! I 100% recommend it for everyone old and young! (I always forget to take pictures but next time I go I will be sure to take some and add them to this post)

The lights, arcade machines, and the whole setup just hit that sweet spot where it feels fun and nostalgic but still updated. The lanes were in great shape, scoring screens worked perfectly, and the arcade area actually had games people want to play. It's the kind of place where you can bowl a few games, grab some snacks, mess around in the arcade, and just hang out without it feeling dead or outdated. The atmosphere is lively without being chaotic. Honestly, this is what a 5-star bowling alley should be, good lanes, good lighting, fun arcade, decent food, and a vibe where you actually want to stay longer than one game. And I'm just gonna say it... way better than Bowlero. Bowlero feels overpriced and corporate, like they tried to turn bowling into a nightclub. Empire Bowl just keeps it real and actually focuses on making bowling fun. Definitely coming back.

New location took the old concept and made it even better with sign, noticeable parking and same vibe as the owner welcome his customers of relieving the 80's and 90's arcade style. Inside is split into three separate rooms: as soon you enter, arcades (no food/drink once you enter), pinball room (additional $5) and console room (ps5 and switch) and two arcade cabinets. Price varies between $10 per hour or $20 all day. Arcades are unlimited so if you don't want to beat these games on emulators and do it the old fashion way, this is the way to go. Do offer snacks and drinks for separate prices. Console room is where they held tournaments (check their instagram for upcoming tournament). In addition, you can host parties here and they will close to the public while hosting the event (will inform their socials whether it's gonna be close). Second, and maybe more importantly, they built an arcade that perfectly matches my memory of being a kid in the 90s being able to play for hours and just have a great time. The extras I'll add is that instead of having to pay for tokens then make it really simple and you just pay by the hour or day and just play all the games however long you want. This makes it a great value for families. This opened the door for me finally trying to beat the X-Men game from the 90s. I still wasn't able to beat that darn thing. But maybe I could join forces with my three boys and go back and finally beat the game. They beat me in my entire childhood. They have a lot of other cool stuff like console games in air hockey. I just saw that they do birthday parties too, so that's cool. The staff was beyond friendly, they just get it. They know what they're doing. They know why they're doing it and you can just tell. Overall, I just super recommend this place. If you just wanna stop by for an hour, play all day, happy birthday party here, or if you're super hard-core, I want to do one of the competitions that they run go for it.
