There aren't a lot of restaurants in San Bernardino, so this is not a bad place when I need to meet someone for lunch in town. The pizza was hot and fresh with tons of cheese - which I like. We also got some cheesy bread... it was all OK. It's not gourmet pizza but it will fill you up and the place, while not fancy, is clean and has sufficient seating. The Asian couple who own and run the restaurant are friendly, gracious, kind, efficient and generous. They told us they handmake their dough for the crust every night there at the store...it's tasty! Our pizzas came as ordered sooner than expected and were DELICIOUS! We had cheese, pepperoni, veggie and Hawaiian...all were enjoyed by all the college students and other adults who attended. My solo experience at jerseys pizza, I came in around 2pm and it was completely empty, ordered the lunch special and some mozz sticks, Oder took like 12 minutes and everything was played out in front of me. Decided to give this place a try. We definitely will not be back. We ordered 2 medium pizzas, wings and 3 sodas for dine in. 70$! Is what we spent for our food. The service was okay they gave us one of those packets ranch (you know when you get things to go that require ranch) well they gave us 1 just 1 so I asked for another one and the worker came back and was told that they charge .75! We stumbled upon this location after our original plans fell threw. It reminded me of my childhood pizza spot we would go to after softball games. It's older, a bit dim, quiet but somehow cozy. We've been hesitant to go with ownership changes but went when we traditionally go after certain activities. We went in October and felt it tasted different but thought maybe it was just an off day. Then went again this month to give them another try now I regret my choice as it was a waste of money. we called in our order and was told 30-35 minutes. it took an hour so my husband was there an extra 30 minutes. He brought the food home to realize half of it was burnt and also gave us only garlic bread Vs garlic cheese bread I ordered. My kids starving we werent going to take it back to wait another hour. so we cut off burnt pieces to try and salvage the pizza. Ok--this was my favorite pizza place as a child and I try to go back every time I visit home. Yes, some things have changed with the shift in ownership. I'd like to have the pizza sauce be a bit more garlicky and the dough seems slightly sweeter than before. But, that said, I'm still going back because the pizzas are fresh and the crust is the right balance of doughy-crispy that I like. Californians has to most immature palate known to man. I get so frustrated seeing reviews that the food is so good then going to the establishment to find its either nasty or mid. I got something I thought to be very simple and should have just made a home but I didn't feel like going to the store then waiting in the food and worry about the cleanup. The Mozzetta sticks were cold and the bread was nasty enough for me to just throw the whole plate away. The buffalo wings gave old. I think the restaurant needs to change the vendor of which they get their food from because how do you mess up something as simple as mozzarella sticks and wings? The man is kind but the food is trash. However, as I mentioned before what Californians like is extremely subpar to the quality of food that I like, so you may like it. Always ordered here over the years, however changed management. Ordered a large pizza without Olives And a few other vegetables. Paid about $44.00 for my order which included wings. When my husband got home with the pizza, it was over cooked (Crust a little burnt) and it had olives and was missing the ham. I have been a very loyal customer to this high end pizza place. Called to complain about order, manager said to bring the pizza back and I will be reimbursed. Honestly, who wants to go all the way back to the pizza place. We walk to the front desk give our order, the lady taking our order asks us to wait, goes and asks the Asian owner he blows us off waving his hand that he will not make a Calazone. I have been going to this Jersey's for over 30-years under both old and new management. I have also eaten at the Jersey's in Redlands, where the former owners took their business and eaten there several times. The quality and fantastic taste of the San Bernardino Jersey's has NEVER changed and is tied with the Redlands store as the absolute best pizza in the IE.
