Halfway through a breakfast burrito with sausage
    Mark G.

I've been coming here for years. It's wonderful, but yelp always forgets to tell me it's here when I'm scanning the neighborhood for som delicious, low-key eats. They do a great movie-set-food-truck-style Breakfast Burrito. For lunch, I usually get the teriyaki combo - a huge plate of beef, chicken, rice, and veg with a side of kimchi. There is a small shady outdoor eating area, but it's right on the boulevard, so it's hardly luxurious. But who cares? There are even a couple free off-street parking places around the back. Place is run by a nice Korean lady who always remembers me. Keep an eye out for their occasional KimChi chicken - it's intense. Breakfast Burrito Chicken Teriyaki Bowl House Kimchi Tuna Melt

Good fries but the chili cheese fries are where it's at!

Went here for lunch twice while on jury duty with co-jurors. The cashier, who seemed to be running the place, was sweet & the food was just what I wanted. Comfort & indulgence. Yesterday I got the kraut dog (no onions) combo & upgraded to chili cheese fries. Total was $14 for hot dog, soda and chili cheese fries. It was way better than the lunch I got Friday at another place down the street that cost me over $18 & left me unsatisfied. I was totally stuffed after I had the fries, they give you a lot of chili and cheese. The hot dog wasn't anything fancy but it was just what I was looking for. Today I had the tuna melt on rye with fries & a soda (& I remembered to take pics!). The tuna was savory (no sweet relish) & had a nice lemony tang. It was really good & tasted super fresh. That meal was a little over $15. There are so many things on the menu to choose from & I think I'd be happy with just about anything I ordered based on what other jurors & courthouse staff said. Both days,, the wait to order & get food wasn't long, though yesterday 1 co-juror, who ordered before me, had to check up on her order because several of us got our food before her. I think it may have just been because of what she ordered. When she got it, it was hot, fresh & delicious looking (and she said it was good). Some foods take longer to prepare than others. I live about 40 minutes from here & would go back for the chili cheese fries alone. Oh yeah and the tuna melt! There's a patio on the side where we sat today. It was nice to eat & just relax outside after being in the courtroom all morning. If this place was close to my house I'd probably be there several times a week. Yup, I liked it THAT much!

    This blt is so delicious

You have to try their Blt it's so good. The bacon was crispy, the sour dough bread was lightly toasted and the lettuce and tomato was fresh

    Chicken teriyaki

I was in the area and I was hungry (when am I not hungry?) and this place caught my eye when I walked past it. I ordered the small chicken teriyaki bowl, even though my belly was telling me to get the pastrami sandwich and fries, sofar, I'm digging this quaint little food shack. LA used to have so many of these places, but development and gentrification has made these places less common. I'm reminded of Molly's on Vine and Selma. Molly's was a little Korean burger joint, much like Happy Dogs. The rumor is, after a lengthy legal battle, the developer paid Molly's a substantial sum (over a million) and the lot where it stood is now a chichi commercial building. Anyway, I'm currently waiting for my food, and it's ready... The house kimchi is super tasty. I wish they gave me a lot more (but it's totally a reasonable amount). The teriyaki is a very good portion for a small. The veggies are a nice touch, and they aren't frozen. I'm curious to try the burgers, dogs, pastrami, and the bulgogi. Over all, it's a great little bargain joint where your money goes to a nice family and the food is good and affordable. What more could you want?

Decent food, ridiculous prices. A teriyaki bowl should not cost $15, the prices on the menu are not accurate either.

I know that's controversial as a now East Coaster, but this Los Angeles staple will always have my heart. Why does In n' Out reign supreme? Every element, from the buns to the beef patty, are exceptional. The buns are soft and hefty. They don't easily disintegrate in your hands. They come out greased, as though they've been swiped with a bit of butter. The lettuce and onions are crisp, the latter both sweet and pungent. The tomatoes, too, are fresh. The cheese is perfectly melty, blending in with the signature sauce. And the patty, oh the patty: not too thick, perfectly seared, juicy, and, the best part, seasoned. The fries are hardly a supporting actor in this meal. They, too, are the best fries I've ever had, a blend of crispy and potatoe-y, peeled and fried on site. You can't get any fresher than that. Whenever I return to California, I always have a meal here. In n' Out is simply that good.

And if you know me at all, you already know that every single road trip we do.... Is gonna involve an In-N-Out Burger on the way to our destination! So as we barreled down the 101, I looked over at my wife, glanced in the rear view mirror at the kids and I said, "Who's Hungry?" Of course, we all know what was coming Next.... Like all In-N-Out's, no matter what day it is, what time of day it is, or what location you are at.... The drive-thru is INSANE!!!!! And the Sherman Oaks location is absolutely insanity. Cars wrapped through the parking lot, out the driveway, and stacked onto Moorpark St. It's an absolute Zoo! Thankfully for us, we knew Palm Springs would be waiting for us when we got there, but this is definitely not the location you want to mess with if you're in a hurry. Once we FINALLY got our food, it was game time! And let me tell ya, In-N-Out ALWAYS hits! Got their regular Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, light onions, with their Thousand Island dressing, Also got regular size chili fries and the food was sooooo gooooood!!!! They have jalapeño peppers, chili peppers, and all the other condiments that go with great hot dogs, burgers, fries and all. Place is super clean, abundant parking spaces, cute patio, and right outside of the restaurant they have 2 bathrooms. Both clean!! Good menu options to choose from! See you again very soon.
