My bf and I came upon this truck on Food Truck Friday on Chatsworth Street in Granada Hills. The truck was plain in design when the window doors were up. The menu was located just beside the order window. There were no photos of the menu items visible but you could see the food being cooked through a window and that was good enough for my bf. He ordered the shrimp and chicken double stack. His food was ready in less than 10 minutes. It was properly packaged and in large portion. The cost was decent for what he received. He enjoyed his food but felt it was a touch salty. Service was friendly and helpful. This a good option for those craving Japanese hibachi food. read more

This truck is almost always at the Granada Grubfest! My bf and I have had their food a few times now and one time one of the guys made a comment to my bf and said we were the ones who streams Pokémon cards openings on IG live which I found hilarious and surprising because we don't show our faces! I was surprised he knew maybe based off his voice? Either way, that was pretty awesome. I usually go for their lobster and garlic noodles and he goes for their chicken teriyaki. My fiancé just brought me this since I've been craving HABACHI for a while now and UMMMM WOW! The flavors were amazing. I got a steak/ lobster stacked plate and chicken garlic noodles on the side. The steak was literally perfect. Tender on the inside and grilled to perfection on the outside. Lobster was great as well- they ran out of shrimp so I would love to try the shrimp next time. Fried rice and veggies that came with the plate were seasoned to perfection... Really enjoyed the noodles too and they give a lot of protein but honestly portion sizes are so big that I couldn't get around to it! The food truck was stationed at my apartment complex from 4-9pm. I had planned all day to order from them for dinner and went to order at 8:00pm and they turned me away saying they were closed. I told them the advertisements said they were open until 9pm and they said yes, but they have stopped taking orders because they just got four orders in and wouldn't have time for any more. My husband stopped off at the Bomb Bachi truck tonight and I'm so glad he did. If you love Benihana and want the at home taste, look no further! BombBachi is the bomb! For less than $32, we had the most delicious New York Steak and Chicken dinner (3 dinners)! Customer service always amazing!! Food is always cooked fresh to order. Never a disappointment my whole family loves it!! They started serving new garlic noodles too! On a regular day I can get my food in 15min or less! At food truck nights it takes longer but what do people expect?! There's way more people I go knowing there's gonna be wait and when there isn't it's even better but I'm not complaining. People need common sense if you're getting fresh food cooked to order and it's not burgers then expect a wait people! Don't give them a hard time. I was 5th in line. It took 20 minutes for me to order and over 30 minutes to get my food. Not worth the hour wait.

I understand global supply chain shortages so price hikes and spotty menu selection are to be expected. My primary complaint was that the guys on the truck were wearing their masks barely or not at all. I have no beef if they want to step out during a slow period and catch a breath, but in a small confined truck prepping food, which was pretty pricey for a meager portion, I would hope they would be fully masked. read more

Finally had the opportunity to try Bomb Bachi when they came thru Alta Dena and they did not disappoint! Tried the double stack (steak and shrimp) with garlic noodles and I was impressed. The steak was nice and tender just the way I like it. Originally wanted to try the lobster but it gives me more of a reason to come back. Stopped by last week on a rainy night, customer service was great! The food not so great, I understand they are new, I ordered the Steak and Lobster and wow it was so expensive! Not worth it imo, but I was hungry but it wasn't money well spent. I ordered medium well it came out rare, and the fried rice had a weird after taste, lobster was really chewy. Bomb Bachi had the best fried rice I've ever had and this is not an exaggeration. The flavor was incredible and the steak was cooked perfectly. I would make a special trip to have their food again. Incredible. Firstly, the staff is friendly, attentive and quick! I received my single steak stack in less than ten minutes. The food is divine and the portions are huge. I have a big appetite and I couldn't finish my plate (yay for leftovers). The steak was perfectly cooked and melts in your mouth. Absolutely loved the fried rice and the veggies too!
